Carnitas don pancho

I strogly recommend this place if you want to have authentic carnitas michoacanas. A friend of mine recommended the spot a while back but I was hesitant because I know what authentic Carnitas taste like, being that my parents are from Michoacan. From the first time I tried them I knew they were authentic; the family that owns the shop is from Michoacan. They were really nice, friendly and very accomodating when I rolled up with a family of 7.

This little place serves the best carnitas in town. That's all they serve. No tacos, burritos, etc. just carnitas with sides. We buy one entrée meal and it feeds my spouse and I for at least two meals. They do the cooking right up front in the Michoacán style. The cabbage salad is also outstanding. It is take out only but don't let that hold you back. Once you try this meat, you'll be hooked.

Really good food best quality... sad I can say the same with the service went today to try it out and the worst cashier ever so rude not friendly at all..yea I was new to the place but her being so impatience why get a job where u know u need to have people skills and she is far away from that but food can’t complaint it was great

This is as close as it gets to Mexico taste, one of my family's to go too for carnitas, nothing like fresh out of the cazo for you you won't regret it. Family owned and operated. We usuly go for the lb plates..

The carnitas place its delicious. Wifey and I went for the first time & we weren’t disappointed at all. Service was so what friendly, location it’s small and unless you like to listen to very loud music, I recommend to order take out.

I've always had trouble finding good carnitas in Escondido. Either they were juicy and bland or dry with seasoning. This place has the best carnitas in Escondido. Not only are they juicy and cooked to perfection but they are definitely seasoned well. Also their cueritos are soo soft. They literally melt in your mouth. Reason why I'm giving it only 4 stars is because it's a little on the pricey side and they sell the salsa, cilantro and onions separate

Have never been disappointed in this place the food is really good. It brings me back to my hometown in Mexico. Service can be a little slow but it's worth the wait.

These CARNITAS are real authentic!! Honestly the best CARNITAS! In ESCONDIDO!! Real taste of Mexico. THE ONLY THING THAT'S BULLSHIT! IS THEY SAY THEY CLOSE AT TEN BUT I CAME 30 MIN BEFORE CLOSE TIME AND NO ANSWER! For that IS BULLSHIT GET YOUR TIME STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
