Carnitas La Flor de Michoacan

This is a small place in Rosarito right in the heart of the main Blvd. There are only a few tables out on the sidewalk, and the rest are indoors. If you want typical, traditional carnitas, this is the place. We ordered a quarter kilo (about half a pound) for two. It included beans, rice, guacamole, diced onion & cilantro. We got the flour tortillas. It was the end of November, so they had champurrado and atole de guava; they were delicious; I felt they were my emotional support 😀 🤗 We’ve been to fancy restaurants, but nothing beats a traditional plate of carnitas. ¡Lo recomiendo 100%!

Ordered carnita grande and pozole grande. A lot of food but we finished it. We had a comfortable meal.

Good spot for some delicious tacos! Recommendation is to order about 3 of them. Service is really helpful and friendly. The staff speak English which is a great help to navigate their vast menu! The chips, salsa and pickled veggies are a great starter to nibble on while the food is prepared!

Service was great and fast. Food was delicious, everything was handmade and fresh. Nicely priced for big portions. So much to choose from.

Did take away. 1/2 kilo lots of food for 2 people. More than enough for leftovers. Carnitas de maciza are amazing and the sides are great.

Great tasting food & service. The Menudo & Michelada saved my life after a full night of drinking.

You CANNOT go wrong with there tacos!! OMG, so good!!

Everything was delicious and price is great! Food is prepared to order so took a few minutes longer of a wait but definitely worth waiting. Limited seating but not an issue at all.
