Carnitas Spot

My husband and I live about an hour away from this spot. Occasionally, we try to plan our day to visit and stop for some matcha next door, Mira Matcha. We ordered, got our drinks, and my husband keeps smelling something sooooooo good. We stopped here and THIS WAS IT. He ordered menudo & the tamales (one green the other red style). How delicious! Menudo, made traditional. Which means no hominy. Tortillas, from scratch! Made to order. Tamales, full of meat, not thin and small. Good sized with the right ratio of the meat with the maiz. 100000/10 recommend! We will be back! And our person who took our order, wish we could have gotten her name. Sweet lady, checked to see how we enjoyed our food. Service top notch!

Consistency of flavor is what keeps me coming back. Juicy flavorful carnitas, handmade tortillas take me back to the Motherland. Traditional authentic. My whole family loves this place. It’s been replaced by carnitas don Raul that decided to go Hollywood with the prices and by far superior in every way.

Wow! Didn’t expect these carnita tacos to taste so good! You spoiled my kids for life…they already said they’re no longer going to eat tacos when we go back home to Dallas.

Orders via uber eats. Everything showed up warm and delicious. Pozole was just okay but the carnitas were spot on! Just wish I had more than one red salsa with these two massive tacos. I was full after one but still ate both.

I tried the Carnitas quesadilla. And it was amazingly great with caramelized onions the right amount of neat and cheese and balance. And melting your mouth. I highly recommend you try this place.

The amount of meat you get is absolutely worth every penny. The meat is tender. Get mix plate carnitas and ribs. You won’t regret it
