The best birria tacos with consomé I've ever had! The pastor and asada tacos were also incredible—hands down the best I've ever tasted. Every bite was packed with flavor. Highly recommend! The sauces were freshly made, and amazing. Great, fast, and friendly service.

This unassuming spot in-between the strip and downtown on Las Vegas Boulevard is a great place for tasty, reasonably-priced Mexican food. We tried goat tacos Dorados AND carnitas torta Ahogada for the first time in our lives. Wow! This spot had tasty fresh meats and toppings and we enjoyed getting messy so much! Everything is dipped in a really rich and robust sauce. We just loved it! The Jamaica drink is $5 but HUGE!!! And delicious! Great value! We must note that we visited on Sunday at 1pm and the staff was cleaning the tables as soon as the customers left the tables. This spot was immaculately clean and the staff was so helpful and friendly! That makes a big difference in an experience!

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! Kind staff with wonderful options and quick service. They are now located inside the white building serving their same hearty food. The prices were incredibly affordable yet still delicious. Birria tacos are a must try. Come here if you're staying or visiting Vegas!

Was very disappointed with portion size. There bollios are about half the size of a regular bollio. Carnitas were a little dry with no real flavor but I guess that’s where the sauce comes in. To tell you the truth I’ve had better and savoring tortas from Mariana’s, so I think I’ll save money and time. Don’t think it was worth the 15.00 bucks

The quesabirria with goat meat here is amazing! The meat was tender and flavorful, the tortillas were perfectly crispy, and the consommé tied it all together. Definitely worth a visit!

The burritos here are tasty and filling, and the nachos are piled high and hearty. I order takeout here from time to time and I've never had anyone here be rude or dismissive. The neighborhood is about what you'd expect, but I don't mind it considering I live in the area. LOL

They have specials too!! Monday - $14.99 for 2 Tortas Thursday - 2 for 1 Tacos Friday - $5.99 for 2 Carnitas Tacos. Love the combination of sides, sauce, etc. Not many places offer as fresh of condiments to add into your diy tacos. One of my favorite comfort foods. I'll be coming back every chance I can get. Looking forward to trying their birra plates, menudo soup, and more. Eastside LAers would appreciate this place. No need to go to Broadacres Swap Meet to get my decent carnitas taco fix now. We've seen their shop before with the Pig logo and big words "carnitas". But never thought they were actually open because I haven't seen anyone around but could be because they park in the back? The park parking could be a bit sketchy. I would try to park in the overloaded parking spots shared with bajamar seafood and tacos.

Tortillas are delicious! I would definitely come back again for the tortillas and try the food. Looked great when i came to pick up.

Delicious food! Highly recommend! My husband order torta ahogadas it was the best. I order the tacos dorados de asada. Both plates amazing.

I almost past it! So glad I seen it because it didn't disappoint. Food and service were great. Delicious food, I couldn't resist on trying my favorite the torta ahogada & the agua de chia. Ambiance is good, family friendly, fast service. We were a family of 13 & didn't wait to be seated nor to be served.

My family and I really enjoyed the food here. The drinks are exceptionally delicious. The service was excellent. Very sanitary and a lot of people in the restaurant which to me is a good sign of great food. Would definitely recommend.

I'm for Michoacán and I love Carnitas !!!!!!! And this place is plane TERRIBLE cold carnitas the sause THAT LOOKS DELICIOUS IS VERY WATERY AND NOT SAUSY .It looks amazing and isn't tasty.A but over priced for what it is.You know the place is horrible if you are still sitting down at the restaurant typing up a negative review ON YELP ,as you're waiting for the waitress that's straight staring at you not walk over to give you your check to head out .This is EXACTLY why I have to make this review Never Again!!!

Nasty . Couldn't even eat in peace and these birds wouldn't leave us alone. Birds were mutated and one was missing a whole leg! 3 stars!!! Never coming back DONT COME HERE. Food was ok, not the birds! Birds were flying over my food and it was really uncomfortable and unsanitary! Please fix this problem and I will consider coming again

We were headed for a business meeting and drove around the area for a quick bite to eat. Yelp brought us to this venue. The staff was very friendly! The menu is very simple and not too overwhelming. This makes ordering easy especially when you're in a rush. I was very impressed with the food. And the flavors. The portions was very generous! Overall, if you are in the area this place is worth going to! You will not be disappointed!

This place is amazing! The tacos dorados con buche were DELICIOUS. Filled with mildly spicy potatoes and topped with fresh repollo con cebollita curtida y jalapeños con zanaorias en vinagre (shredded cabbage with pickled/vinaigrette onions, jalapeños and carrots) and warm savory tomato sauce instantly took me back to the days when I used to have this dish in Guadalajara as a little girl visiting during summer vacation. A little time of nostalgia while on my trip to Las Vegas form the Bay Area. I had to go back twice during my time there because IT WAS THAT GOOD. I was kicking myself for not trying their tortas, but the tacos dorados con carnitas, con buche, the carne asada fries and the kids menus were FANTASTIC. Another thing, I will say, the carne asada was also cooked perfectly and super flavorful!! My complements to the hard working chef and cashier!!!

The patio is closed due to covid-19, but there's plenty of tables inside. I was pleased to see all the staff were wearing their masks correctly. Tortas Ahogadas are really good. I asked for sauce on the side. This place has authentic Jalisco style Tortas. They have torta specials on Thursday. Service is excellent. I wanted to try the jericallas, but it was not available. The parking is bit sketchy due to all the construction.

I will never come back. Terrible service this weekend. Order messed up and given plates to figure out who add what for the tacos for ourselves. Constantly having to look for waiter for items missing, for drinks, for more napkins etc. Every One's tacos were one tortilla and fell apart when you pick them up. Had to eat them with a fork. Party of Four. 2 Beers, 2 Horchatas, water. One Appetizer Queso chorizo. Total of 10 tacos for all of us. Waiter shows up with a 153 dollar receipt. And HE States the Gratuity is included. The order incorrect! And he Gives himself a 21 dollar tip for Bad Service screwed up orders, over charged us, argued with us that we were wrong. The tip is automatic when you come in for all party of FOUR. Confused on his hand held device every time he did appear. Don't eat here Food, service is terrible. Add the Math at 4 dollars tacos and 6 dollar drinks and 1 appetizer. How do you get to 153 dollars and a 21 dollar tip!!!!

This place doesn't offer rice and beans like a real Mexican restaurant should. Tacos are over priced and not that good, I don't recommend it. lots of flies in the place.

I drive past this restaurant every day for a year wondering what they are all about and finally stopped in the other day. Man I wish I checked it out sooner! I ordered the signature dish, Torta Ahogada, and was delighted to be served crisp, juicy carnitas on a fresh birote roll, drowned in a light tomato sauce. Mix in some of the red onions served on the side and you've got yourself a flavor explosion. We also ordered the carne asada nachos and enjoyed every bite. Will definitely be back again soon!

Don't know where to start. The food is amazing good!! There tortas Ahogadas Are so delicious totally recommend. Costumer service was amazing Super friendly staff waitresses We're very tentative. Clean and nice patio space. Definitely recommend Cant wait to come back. :)

We were passing by to eat another restaurant but it was closed and we then noticed the crowds here so we decided to stop by. Wow! We got the birria end caldo, tacos de canasta, tacos Fritos, carnitas and both of the desserts they have. It was all so delicious and definitely authentic! I can't wait to come here again!

Have strolled by a couple times, but always caught them closed. Bajamar the place across the way indicated once they sell out they close. So good sign right? Well they were open and we ordered the birria tacos ala plancha...the tortillas seemed store bought. They were small for 3.50 a piece. Not what I expected. The birria and carnitas had good flavor. But don't see myself coming here again. Just way more places to go for bigger portions.

Awesome!!! The people here are very sweet to their clients. I asked for the restroom first and with no complains or any attitude, he gave me the code to access then we came and ordered. The food is delicious and everything is super clean. The prices are very reasonable. Good to see business owners still know how to take care of their customers!

This spot is so good, there specialty is tortas ahogadas and their carnitas. They are BOMB. I had the menudo and it was alright. But I figured since it's not their specialty. They bring the bread straight from Guadalajara Mexico and they bake it here freshly. You won't regret coming here. Remember Tortas ahogadas and Carnitas Customer Service is excellent

Finally tried this place a couple of months back, I've already gone back 3 times. Tortas and tacos dorados are really good... best value are their 2x1 tacos on Thursdays! They're not your little tacos that you can eat in 1 bite! They're big! Staff is very nice and attentive. Place is always clean! Ps! The ONLY negative feedback left for hear guys is a ghost account which appears to have been created JUST to leave a bad review here! Disgruntled employee maybe? Some people are just aholes.

First time here. We drive by and had to come try out. Food is authentic and delicious! I got the Tacos Dorados with Carnita totally recommended. My husband got the Torta Ahogada taste just like the ones we've ate in Guadalajara. For drinks we got Horchata and Jamaica very refreshing. Great customer service. Will definitely be coming again when were in town.

I am a fan of this place! Being from Mexico, I'm so happy this place is around, I really enjoy the food here, tortas are what you should expect, a simple combination of carnitas, frijoles in a white bread covered in a read sauce, nothing is closer to guadalajara style than this place. If you're craving something traditional, a close look of what Guadalajara food is like this is the place to go. Try also the tacos dorados, beautiful flavor, that will make you smile. If you don't like this place, theres something weird going on with you (LOL JK), if you tried it before and didn't have a good experience I think you should try this place again. Anyway I'm really happy with the service, is a clean place, where service is great in a clean environment. Having two locations, one in Las Vegas Blvd close to downtown (the one I visited) and soon I'll be visiting the Eastern location. The lady there recommend me to visit the other location also, that offers a little more variety. -SPANISH: Soy fan de este lugar, siendo de Mexico, estoy feliz de haber encontrado este lugar. Cuando voy disfruto de una deliciosa comida, que recuerda el sabor tradicional de Guadalajara, como las tortas una simple combinación de frijoles con carnitas en medio de un plan blanco cubierto por la exquisita salsa que le da el toque final. Si tienes antojo de algo tradicional, lo mas parecido a lo que es el sabor de Guadalajara definitivamente es este lugar. Prueba también sus tacos dorados, que te harán sonreír. Si de plano no te gusta este lugar, significa que hay algo malo en ti (jaja no se crean). Pero en serio si ya fuiste y no tuviste una buena experiencia, dale una segunda oportunidad que te puede sorprender. En fin, estoy muy contenta de haber visitado esta locación la cual esta basada en Las Vegas Blvd, muy cerca de downtown y su otra locación la cual espero visitar pronto en Eastern. This place is delicious, torta ahogadas almost taste as good as my step moms :) we also like to get the carnitas plate with carnitas , buche & cuerritos with tortillas hecha a mano mm mm mm bomb ! The agua d pepino is great as well good customer service .

I was passing by the boulevard and came across this places. I'm originally from Guadalajara so I decided to try this food since its hard to find this kind of food and places.let me tell you this is exactly like I'm mexico flavor how it's made and all. Very delicious and recommend this place mostly for ppl that like that spicy food. I would definitely come to this place everytime I come to Vegas.

Stopped here on a road trip and had zero interest in going anywhere close to the Strip! It was hot as hell, and officially the covered (large) patio was closed, but they let us eat out there because we had our dogs with us. Tables inside were spread apart, and we had patio to ourselves. Employees all wore masks and were super super friendly. I LOVE me some tortas ahogadas as my family is from Guadalajara, so this place hit the spot. We also ordered some tacos dorados w carnitas and those were yum and my doggos loved the carnitas so much LOL!

This is the second location and they added burritos! This is our go to place every time we are craving tacos! Their specialty tortas and sauce is awesome. If you want it spicy they have a ghost pepper sauce that is pure fire & even my hubby who can handle spicy had to concede that it was too much for him! I had the nachos fries and the portion was huge for the price. We also tried a cucumber mango chia seed drink that was so refreshing. The meat is seasoned and flavorful but still tender. We tried the asada, carnitas and al pastor meat and 5 stars for everything, including friendly and quick service.

Came to eat here with the whole family on Sunday and the food was delicious. I got a plate of Carnitas with fresh handmade tortillas. It was so delicious. I will be coming back when we visit Vegas again.

So I got the crane asada fries. The fries were crispy and the asada is well season Most of the time I would go to taco Mexico that is down the street but I am glad I came here. It beats taco Mexico any day. Their staff is super friendly and the place is clean.

All the food was amazingly tasty. My favorite was the tacos de canasta. I loved the tacos mixtos with carnitas buche and barbacoa. The red sauce was spicy and flavorful. All the staff was super attentive and friendly.

My friends and I tried this place because we really wanted the tacos Dorado. It was huge but I was starving and had a crunchy taco craving. It was really good but thought it was different to put potatoes inside the taco and the meat on top but I still ate it. I do recommend this place but is it authentic?.....no... is it good???.... yes!

I'm actually quite surprised at the other yelp reviews for this place, if I could give it no stars I would. We tried quite a few different plates.... tacos, Birria, burrito....this was not good at all. The meat was tough and had no flavor. I will say, all the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, this review is for the food, and the food was disgusting.

They advertise their carnitas as if being the best in town but after trying them I was disappointed. I walk in very hungry and the whole menu looked appealing ,so I decided to have the fried tacos with potato inside and carnitas on top. At fist they looked awesome but after trying them they didn't taste or smelled so good. actually they tasted pretty bad . I nibbled on some of the tacos but at the end I left most of plate unfinished. I could've traded my food for another plate I guess but I didn't want to try anything else, conclusion I'll never go eat there again!!

I really love the Carnitas ! I'm putting 4 stars just because the menu is so small there isn't many options to choose from even though the menu is small their food is good. The horchata , chia water are so delicious. The employees are very welcoming as well time served as well is not longer than 7 min max .

This place has authentic Mexican food. Soups, Tortas, tacos, burritos, etc are all fresh, filling and satisfying. Service is gr8: Next to Bajamar if you want meat and not fish. This neighborhood is fine during the day. Park in back and bring your appetite.

I love this spot when I'm in Vegas, I highly recommend Carnitas Y Tortas Ahogados Guadalajara. The Tacos Mixtos are the best and my favorite dish. They have fresh hand made tortillas and their spicy salsas are the best I've had, my favorite is the very spicy habanero one but they have many to choose from and their aguas frescas are very refreshing I love the cucumber one with chia.
