London’s New Restaurant Openings

"Carnívoro Grill is a meat-heavy Mexican restaurant in Bermondsey, from the people behind La Chingada. It’s all leather seats, bull’s horn logos, and bottles of red. As for the food, expect picanha skewers and plates loaded with chorizo, black pudding, sirloin steaks, rib-eye, and sweet breads. It’s a four-hour nap waiting to happen.  We recently checked out Carnívoro Grill. Read our first thoughts here.  " - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

This place was recommended for me so I was quite excited to go. I booked in advance but when we got there we were given a table outside, it was very cold and although they put the heaters on it was uncomfortable to sit there for an extended period of time. We ordered some tostas, the foie one was the best. We wanted to order the huevos rotos but they only had an option with mushroom sauce which one of us couldn’t eat, we tried to order without sauce but the server said it was not possible, quite disappointing. Once we ate the tostas we paid and loomed for an indoor restaurant foe lunch.

Love the decor/theme. A bit difficult communicating since only one person spoke English. Food was really good though. Prices were not bad at all. Tiramisu was really delicious and such a good size.

Very inattentive, unpleasant staff! Raw pork ribs; soggy, oily fries. After we pointed out the raw meat it was returned charred and covered is bbq sauce that was not there previously. (I guess trying to cover the fact that it was burned)

In few words • Tasty food, normal portions, high prices. Nice and cozy interior. Meat served already cut so it will get cold fast. This place is a good place to eat, but not a must. I disliked how fast the servers wanted to take the empty dishes away not even letting all the people around the table to finish their meal. But overall they are pretty efficient and smiling. That's very nice :) On a personal note, the high chairs are too plushy, so it might be a little uncomfortable for some people (like me for example).

Nice ambiance with an outdoor alfresco dining area. The BBQ pork ribs were delectable and was served off the bones in bite sized pieces, which was new to me but really convenient to eat, served with their very tasty french fries. The beef was also great tasting done according to preference served with granular salt on the side and the same tasty fries Prices were very reasonable for the ambiance and food quality. Reservations are recommended especially if you want to have your meal alfresco as outside space is limited to just a few tables on the sidewalk.

Absolutely a must if you visit Zaragoza! The t-bone steak is absolutely delicious. The chips are beautiful and full of flavor. Freshly prepared you need to try the asparagus. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Zaragoza, also to note it's best booking a table as it's always busy.

Great Steak Restaurant with cool atmosphere and phantastic Value for Money. The service was quick and precise. My steak was supposed to be medium+ (in spain: a punto +) but as you see in the picture still medium. Anyway, they are happy to put it a little longer on the grill. Jazz-Music in the Background. But especially evenings, you must reserve. Must busy times are from 9pm. The 300g Steak was at about 16€, a huge bowl of very good fries for 4,90€, 300g Angus Picanha came at around 19€.
