Carole's Country Cupboard

We stopped here for breakfast along the route for a trip. (The end of July). Very friendly folks, as expected. The food was just as our home cooked meals. Filled us up perfectly. You order inside at the counter. There are a few tables , but not many. We ate outside on the deck. Most of the local working fellas stop in and grab their food to go. Seems to be the way that most of the food here is ordered. The older retired gentlemen who sit around for their morning gathering are quite humorous. And friendly as well. Glad to see the locals supporting a local business. We will most definitely make the stop again along our traveling route! Suggestions would be to add a larger deck outside for more table seating. And possibly more inside seating. Have a to go window added like a drive thru. And stay open longer. Your food is absolutely worth it. The price isn't bad either. The coffee could be a lot stronger though.

First visit and probably will not stop again. A friend ordered a BLT which she said was good. I ordered the chili cheeseburger box, no chili at all on burger and very overcooked very very well done. The fries were very lightly cooked, to the point the middle was still cold in the middle. Not a good visit, disapointed

Love this little place! Excellent biscuits with several options. The customer service girls are always pleasant...even at the butt-crack of dawn. 🤭😁

The lovely people working here make delicious food. This breakfast place is one of the only ones that rivals Linda’s Kitchen.

I love this place. Very good food, staff is always nice. Four stars because they only serve grits on Saturday.

The biscuits? Best around. The gravy? My kids ask for it weekly. I make good biscuits at home, but even they know where the real magic is. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and just a 10/10 kind of place. I get a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit every-time. Seating can be tight, especially with a crew (we’re a family of 6), but it’s the kind of spot where the good ole country boys will tip their hat and give up a seat for the ladies. It’s the little things- I even love the burger there. It's the kind of food that’ll make ya wanna slap your mama, but don’t do it. Just thank Carole and the kitchen instead.

I have always enjoyed getting biscuits from here always good BUT the last time i went the biscuit was browner than normal no big deal but the bottom was rock hard and the bacon was burnt took it back to get another one and was told yes the bacon is burnt(then why did you serve it) but the biscuits are always like that (NO THEIR NOT) Carol then got all snappy and getting the staff involved. Not good service lady!

Food is great no doubt but pricing is all over the place if you go inside it’s cheaper than the drive thru the older lady in the drive thru just makes up prices as she does I believe when I asked the lady inside after getting a cheaper price the next morning for the same biscuit she said she would mention it to the owner about what she’s doing but didn’t seem to help if I go inside it’s 5.66 drive thru has been 5.90 then this morning I went thru the drive thru she said 6.09 then changed it to 6.10 very in consistent with pricing in the drive thru almost like she’s gouging people
