Just purchased my first AR from here and the whole team greeted me and super friendly. Steven showed me some used options and showed me some accessories and answered all my questions. He even installed all the accessories onto my AR I purchased. I definitely recommend this place!! Prices, customer service and all 5 stars. Even the bathroom was clean lol!!

Poor customer service. Called in... Asked about HK VP9SK. Guy named Forest said they don't have it but they could order it. He said the system was showing 52 different ones. I drive over 30 mins there, he thought I said HK P30SK. When does V.P.9.SK sound like P.30.SK????? Half listening and only catching some of the info wasted my time. Do better. And I apologize doesn't give me my time back. Time spent trying to find it other places.

Came in had 3 people ask if I needed help said yes no one ever helped me the last guy that came up to me asked if anyone had helped me told him no I’m still waiting on someone to help me. He said okay well just let us know and walked off. I walked out immediately after driving 3 hours to get here

I brought in a few rifles and handguns to sell, and I also purchased a new pistol. Once home I realized the pistol had a minor mechanical issue. Back at the store they were able to replace the defective part with a part from a perfectly good firearm they had in stock. They took on the chore of dealing with the defective part and the manufacturer. Great customer service and I truly felt that their priority was that I left happy.

Great store and everyone is knowledgeable and very helpful. And as others have said I would give them far more than (5) stars************. Ethan, AJ, Forest and Evan are fantastic!!! Only wish they were closer to where I live but the 40 minute drive is worth it. They have a great selection and if they don't have they'll order. Appreciate the total experience and will be back!!

Visited store on S Main Street with hopes on buying a Rifle as a collectible but the staff had me waiting for an hour so i took my business to another FLL close by. They must be bias to “Females” here

Awesome experience! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. Great selection of firearms and accessories IN STOCK. The store itself is well laid out and inventory easy to browse. Very competitive pricing on almost everything. Special shout out to AJ as dude is ON IT! He answered all my questions and gave his honest opinion on some product that aiding me in my ultimate purchase.

Ordered a product online from them and they promptly informed me of its availability. Gave me the necessary information to be able to collect my new purchase without hassle. Communication with them is a breeze. Very prompt and responsive. When I picked the product from the store, a store employee named Chris helped me through the process and even recommended the appropriate accoutrements necessary to operate the product. Excellent and highly knowledgeable staff. I will definitely patronize this establishment again and again!

Jackson at Carolina Gunrunners helped me make some choices with what kind of sight magnifiers would go best with my holosun red dot and he did not disappoint. Went straight to onpoint gun range afterward with my new gear and enjoyed the improvement in accuracy. Having a red dot on a AR without a magnifier just was not cutting it. Felt like I was just guessing past a certain range. He also got it all set up for me bc I'm an idiot and would have found away to screw it up. Big thanks to Jackson and the entire staff I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to setting everything up on guns but love to shoot this place always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and each staff member is highly knowledge about varies firearms and they provide and high quality customer service. If you're new to the game this place they will get you hooked up right!

Everyone of the employees here is extremely knowledgeable and will take the time to find out exactly what type of firearm will best fit your needs. They do not try to up sell you and from looking at other stores in the area and also checking online their prices are competitive. The supply is a little low right now as compared to before Covid 19 took a hold, but they still have a good selection of firearms both ew and used. Glad this store exists and the professionalism of the staff. Oh and by the way they are all carrying so don't get any dumb ideas.

For a smaller shop, they have a large collection of firearms and firearm accessories. I was looking for a reflex scope for my AR-15 just to see what it all looks like before I go ahead and order it. Big collection of pistols under glass and a bunch of used/consignment pieces for sale. Racks and racks of leaning kits, magazines, holsters, frames and the like. Staff are well armed and very helpful. [Review 12950 overall, 266 of 2020.]

I just bought a pistol from them today and they were very nice and knowledgeable but, when I asked about training they told me to contact the local ranges for training. The only sign I saw there was training to test for concealed pistol permit. No one mentioned that the store has training classes!

We stopped by for the first time last Saturday. After an hour or so of chatting with a couple of sales people (Avery, and TJ), I finally decided to make a purchase of a prepared Daniel Defense DDM4V7, some ammo, and a Vertx Bag. The customer service was top notch. We went back today, and within minutes of walking in, 3 people (Avery, TJ, and a third) made sure to acknowledge us and ask us if they could help. We looked at a few things and I settled on just some ammo today for my sons gun. We saw another familiar face we know from a local range. All in all, this is a fantastic store with fair prices, courteous staff, and a nice area. Compared to Perry's (a store I'll never give another cent to), this is THE store to visit when you need a selection and want to be treated fairly.

Very easy to deal with. I was able to trade in a used competition pistol for a brand defense pistol without any issues. Trade in was very fair.Staff was friendly and very efficient. Nice selection of high quality firearms. Definitely would buy from them again.

Carolina gunrunners and triangle shooting academy have the best most welcoming customer service of any gun stores in the area by far, also they have a good selection for pistols, shotguns, rifles, and accessories

Too often, employees at other gun stores are arrogant, rude, and unnecessarily unpleasant. Carolina Gunrunners provides excellent customer service. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Great store, fair prices, nice selection, helpful people. I went shopping with my Dad today to pick up some items and also have a look around. Due to constant legal updates and market changes I needed a brush-up on my consumer intelligence. Then I met Ethan, who was a rockstar. He went into detail about options I was considering, gave fun history notes and nuggets, and was genuinely interested in helping me understand the gear and vendor expectations associated with my purchase. I'm not specific because it's private, but Ethan was super knowledgeable and the rest of the employees I encountered were also friendly and helpful. Great store, fair prices, nice selection, and friendly, helpful people. (Side note: I'm Black. Helpful because we have to go into certain spaces rightfully assuming to be met with bigotry, but I didn't experience that here. And I will most definitely be back. Great place - if you're thinking about it, GO! See for yourself. A chill vibe is met with chill vibes and great purchase options. You shouldn't regret it.)

I was looking for a new carry weapon, but I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. After spending some time in the store and talking with the employees it was clear to see that they weren't interested in making a deal they genuinely wanted to make sure I was buying something that would fit my needs the best. Comparing price, size, availability, and quality they were able to narrow down my selection and provide additional advice from their personal and other customer's experiences. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The professionalism and knowledge is unmatched. Definitely the number 1 spot to shop for anything 2nd amendment related.

Horrible experience I'm a resident of Florida purchased 2 rifles my sales person as well as the store manager was quoting incorrect laws applied to handguns rifles I drove practically 5 hours to their location to pick up the items I ordered two weeks ago they refunded my money amazing but it also took them practically a week finally I wasted time and money and gas dealing with individuals who don't know the law we're standing there in the store with guns on their hips acting like they know what they're doing

Bought another pistol through their website. Even though I'm extremely happy I suggest calling/going in person because you might find it cheaper! Still super happy!

Stopped in at Carolina Gunrunners to see if I could sell my S&W K22. Haven't been in a weapons store in years. Was expecting to have to battle even to get some money for it. Initially talked to 2 young individuals and showed them the revolver. They immediately said that the owner had to appraise it. I appologize for not remember anyones name. The owner came back in 15 minutes with what i considered a very fair offer. I took the offer without hesitation and was gone in another 15 minutes. All of the gentlemen were totally professional and of great service. Thank you Carolina Gunrunners Jim My wife was mad at me about the bag that I used to bring the revolver in, but she changed her mind quickly when she saw the CHECK! Carolina Gunrunners is a nice store. It's bigger than most, probably carries the same volume as others, but it's spread over more space. I like that, actually. There's more room to browse without feeling claustrophobic. As for items on display, Carolina Gunrunners does a better job at letting you see the stock than most. There's a nice selection of used and consigned guns as well, if you'd rather not buy new. It's in an unlikely location, in a major shopping area, near several retail stores, and that might be why each time I've been here, they've been busy. The staff has been polite, helpful, and never pushy, particularly to anyone who likes to browse. They'll spend as much time as necessary with every customer, answering questions, giving directions, and making recommendations. It's a gunshop. It's obvious what they are and what they do, and just like any retail business, it comes down to price, selection and service. Carolina Gunrunners does all three well.

Mike and the staff are so nice and really take their time to show you around. Even if they don't have what you're looking for, they will make sure to find it for you. They offer concealed classes and Their consignment selection is also plentiful. Check these guys out!

I got into guns in 2019 and I have found that this Establishment is one of the best in the state. The price on ammo and guns are the most competitive even online. Their customer service is second to none. And even when you don't ask for a discount, they go out of their way to get you one. To me that shows how much they care about their customers. In one occasion they were not able to get a Beretta that I was looking for and they were fine with letting me search online and have the weapon shipped to their establishment to do the transfer. Other places would not give you that option just so you can buy a weapon from them. I consider myself a loyal customer for life. It is a very good place to get your questions answered, guns, and great deals.

I have bought around 5 guns from this place over the years. Everybody I have ever spoken too at the store knows what they are talking about and will always help you. As long as they stay as good as they are I will continue to buy my guns from this neighborhood store.

They have a limit on how many people can come in the store. The guy who assisted me was extremely helpful and patient. My first time visiting and Im glad I made my first purchase there!

This is not your stereotypical gun store. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by someone even if they are busy with another customer. The staff are dressed professionally and highly courteous. I came here to get some ammo and they only had one of the two items I needed in stock. Even so I will be a repeat customer because of the welcoming atmosphere the staff create for customers.

I'm new to firearms and this was the 2nd shop I visited. I absolutely love the team of guys here. They need a woman on the team, however the atmosphere is still woman-friendly and welcoming. The array of weapons and accessories is by far the best I've seen in the local area. Prices are competitive. Any day of the week you can stop by and have a great conversation and even receive directive from an employee or fellow gun enthusiast. If I were just being picky, I wish they had a bit more parking. Everything I've needed thus far I've been able to walk in and leave with. Much appreciated.

Carolina Gunrunners has my business for the rest of my life or until I move out of North Carolina. I've bought ammo from them, sold equipment, used them for FFL transfers, and taken their Concealed Carry class. You will always be greeted when you walk in and if they can't help you immediately then they will tell you they'll be there in minute. The prices are competitive and they take care of veterans. If you're in the market for a CCW class then I highly recommend taking theirs. They tell you everything you need to know and you get simple and effective range time. The only thing this store needs is it's own range, which I'm sure will be coming in future with our support of local businesses.

I purchased a HK vp9 on 01/12/21, and honestly if I even detected that I wasn't welcome to be serviced I would have got the heck out of there. The associate was so quick and professional, no attitude like the customer next to me gave to a his coworker. But the whole team was clearly professional and worked like a addiction. Great job guys in fact I returned today to get a holster which was a little pricey, however when I got it home, I don't regret my purchase or the $$ I spent. The only thing they should do for their own safety even though they all carry guns, is to put a NO GUN SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR. Because the guy next to me was very disrespectful and had a attitude but associate still showed professionalism. I couldn't do that he got under my skin I just wanted to get away from him. In closing I hope you guys take my advise on the signage, I am from up North and dealt with undesirable customers the way they treated me is how I did in return. So for future customers reading this, just be patient, these guys have your back and are professionals in what they do. Wish I could get 9mm rounds though, but understand why at the same time. M. This is a nice and well-stocked store, and I've been perfectly happy with the items I've bought from them. But three times now I've asked them to find me a price on something (twice for ammo, and once on an offer I made on a consignment gun), and three times they have not called me back.

I have visited gunrunners a handful of times in the past. Ive dealt with Mike and Casey (and im sure some more people). They have been very helpful. Not pushy at all and they dont bother you. If you need help, they are there. Ive done one transfer through them, went fine. Ive also done one purchase outright. That went well. Some good used firearms. Yeti coolers in stock and priced right. Lots of little parts and accessories to finish various builds. cant go wrong with them.

Store was clean and organized. Displays were extremely visible. There selection was awesome, and they could try to order anything. I was even able to find some ammo! The employee that helped me was Ethan Gibson, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Was able to talk to us and walk us through what we ordered/and bought. Called in about selling a gun and they told me to come in whenever. We got here and the location is kind of weird to me compared to other gun shops that I have been to, but it is a good size and very clean. Everyone was very polite, quick, and courteous. We were in and out in about 10 minutes with a check in hand. It was a pretty good price that we were offered as we know they have to make a profit too. We would probably come back to scope items, but there are definitely Raleigh prices here; not outrageous by any means, but not the best.

When I purchased my first firearm a few years ago, they were very helpful. They have knowledgeable staff, good selection, and were genuinely interested in making sure my needs were met. They helped me select the proper accessories and cleaning supplies to maintain my weapon. There was no hard sell of any kind. Their prices are slightly above what you would find on some of the bargain internet shops, but they aren't far off and the service and convenience you get certainly makes up for any difference.

Hands down my favorite gun shop! The staff makes this place what it is. They are the most courteous, knowledgeable, helpful group of gentlemen I've come across. They are happy to help you fulfill whatever firearm dream you have. Whether you are new to guns or a seasoned pro they can help you in a very informative, non condescending way. If, in the rare instance, they don't have an answer for you they will make all the necessary calls and do whatever research needs to be done to help you acquire the exact piece you are looking for. Its a very welcoming, comfortable environment that I plan on frequenting for a very long time. Now, please excuse me while I go do some shooting!

Absolutely recommended for suppressor purchase! Just bought an AR and suppressor from these guys, extremely knowledgable, helpful, and just great people in general. I had been reading about purchasing a suppressor and the headache that surrounds that mysterious process. All I had to do was ask about it and someone came over and held my hand through the entire thing. Everything from getting my account set up online, to the fingerprints at their in-store kiosk, to explaining how things should look moving forward. All said and done, it took about 15 minutes for a process that I though would take me weeks to complete. I will absolutely be making all of my future major firearm purchases either at, or through this business.

I made my first gun purchase with these guys yesterday and it was seamless. I ordered the gun online and was called that the gun was available to pick up the same day. As soon as I walked into the store I was greeted by multiple friendly staff who were expeditious but helpful and kind. The store is clean. The staff is very professional. I highly recommend and despite the 30+ minute drive, I will be doing business here in the future.

First time gun owner. My first visit, they were very helpful and happily answered all my questions no matter how stupid the questions were. I found an amazing handgun deal online and shipped it to these guys for a FFL transfer. Their transfer fee of $25 is the lowest I've found in this area. Kevin was nice and helped me examine my new gun for defects since I wasn't really sure what to look for. It was a super quick process. These folks are great and friendly. I would highly recommend stopping by to ask questions and look at potential guns.

I'm definitely a novice as far as guns go and these guys (I dealt with more than one) were all helpful without being condescending. Made my first hand gun purchase a pleasure and, while I went in with an idea of what I wanted, they steered me towards something that better suited my needs without "up-selling." Long story short, after doing some research online, I went in for either a Glock-19 or a Smith and Wesson MP Shield -The Glock was too big and bulky and the Shield too small/light. Ultimately I wound up purchasing a Springfield XD-s on their recommendation and am very pleased. I'm confident in recommending this store to other first-time buyers.

Great selection. Whatever you're into they have it, AR, 1911, knifes. They pulled in my Kimber Solo, Sig 938, green CZ p07, when nobody else in town even had an idea when they could get one. I followed Casey and Mike over from another shop because of their great knowledge and superior customer relationships.

The make buying/transferring nfa items a breeze and will walk you through everything . If you are in guns or want to learn this is the place to go.

Best gun shop in Raleigh! Bought an H&K vp9 from Mike great customer service great selection great store will return for future purchases. What really stands out is customer service compared to other gun shops. I will be a repeat customer.

Assault rifles, hunting rifles, semi-automatics, revolvers, laser sights and scopes...what's not to like ? Toys R Us for grown-ups. They lose a star for price, though. they're expensive.
