I give a 4 only because I saw him putting cheese on with his bare hands but used tongs for lettuce? Good food though

I like there food but this is my second time I got fries that are undercooked! Fry the fries please!

I've never been so sick in my life after eating something. Myself and the people I came with all got terribly sick after eating here. We all got the Birria and Im guessing that it must of been the culprit. Its been 2 days now and we are still trying to recover. Just don't get the Birria if you visit.

I went this evening and ordered tacos and a side of pico and the pico was completely rotten rancid milky juice was repulsive I called just to let them know so nobody else gets their pico and the lady was more worried I was going to ask for free tacos. I wasn't was just letting her know. She said well pico is free! No! I paid 1.50 but yeah was rotten never will eat here again 😞 imagine what else they got going on there!

Terrible place. Food is not fresh. I went through the drive thru excited to try them for the first time and I was sick for a week. Their fresh pico or onions were not fresh. Disgusting! Have not been back sense.

Open 24 hours with the drive-thru. The food is really good and you get a good size plate on the combination plate

Last month I got a taco salad that was expensive, the salsa was all onions & the tortilla bowl tasted weird, almost sour, and made my mouth tingle. There was a completely burnt chip stuck to the bottom. Yesterday, my husband asked to go back. He got a carnitas burrito and I got super nachos. I asked if I could get all the toppings in a seperate container (the idea was to keep the chips from being soggy for leftovers) but the girl didn't respond when I asked if that was possible so I thought no. We waited at least 10 mins like always, even though there's no line. They put chicken, cheese, sour cream & guacamole all in little containers. That is NOT what I asked for, and they shorted me salsa, beans & the amounts of what they did give. I was very upset because they still charged us $9.75!! My husband cut his mouth & nearly cracked a tooth eating his burrito, on the biggest piece of bone I've ever seen. It was bigger than my pinky nail! We will never go back, I wish we could get our money back.

Food is a good value. A big problem is they only will give you two small salsa per order, after is .50 each. I bought 7 items so I ate dry tacos. Please change that policy

Ive ordered cheese enchaladas here now three times. I'm a silly goose and gave them too many chances. I'd order cheese enchaladas and theyre a little on the cold side. But they recently changed the menu and now say 3 enchaladas for $8.50. I was ready to be hurt again, and I ordered them. Lo and behold, two enchaladas, not three, and the tortilla was obviously not heated, dry in some areas, and the cheese was straight out of the fridge cold. I gave you way too many chances in this economy, I won't be back.

The only Mexican Restaurant that is 24/7 in the area and we love that. We've been coming here for years and even thought the restaurant itself might look a little sketchy and not the best looking, looks are deceiving because the food is bomb. The staff is super friendly too and we've never had an issue with the cashiers or cooks. Like I said the restaurant's appearance might be a turn off to some people but the food is well worth it. Don't judge a book by its cover because you won't be disappointed.

I got the "super nachos".This is how my order was placed upside & missing additional toppings. Paying 15 dollars for this?I should've went to chipotle cause what is this?Customer service was the worst I experienced whoever was working October 17 1030pm needs to go. I'm paying this price for missing ingredients ?asking for limes was a additional charge??Biggest waste of money for this crap service and quality.

A family member got food poisoning after eating here on Saturday. They said the steak on their salad was more like chunks of fat and was rancid.

Went to get some tacos today and found out that they raised the price significantly for the combo plate, the food here is not worth the price go to a real Mexican restaurant and get better for the same very disappointing.

I don't know what happened today but we eat here all the time and very good but yesterday ordered allot of tacos to share with people....we could barely eat them. So dry. Burnt. Etc.

There was a long line in the drive thru. I waited until I was ready to give my order. I ordered a super carne asada burrito. I asked what flavors of juice they served. The lady corrected me saying they had aguas, not juices. The speaker cut out and when it came back I added a medium Jamaica agua to my order. I asked if they accept Apple Pay and the lady said they do. The burrito was big and I requested it to be cut in half. I like how I was asked if I preferred red or green salsa. I asked for and got both. The food tasted good and I would return if I'm in this area again.

We had two orders, the lady was tall and had dark hair I didn't catch her name but she was so miserable. She gave us one lime for two orders and she said she had to pay extra. Huge attitude when we asked for more. Aren't limes 40 cent??? Girl is acting like it comes out her check. Spend 16 dollars on a burrito I don't wanna hear it

Food is very good, great prices, and always fresh. Ive never been served food that wasnt hot and fresh. Their beans are one of the best beans Ive beating Esparzas and other taquerias. Their breakfast burritos are top tier! Highly recommend

Ordered a 2 burrito plate today. Both the chicken and beef burritos didn't taste good. Very bland and chewy. Tasted like it was old meat. Wife got a 2 mini taco plate and it was okay. Last couple of visits have been below par.

The shrimp burrito is delicious!!!The shrimp is perfectly cooked & they don't skimp on the shrimps!! Definitely worth it

We've been going to Carolina's for years they never get an order wrong and the taste and portions are great. Unfortunately lately it's gone downhill. They forgot to put an order in the bag and the taste of both food and drink has diminished the portion is smaller Will be finding a different place for now on

I am a server, I NEVER and I mean NEVER have yelped a business no matter how bad, but I had to download the app just to post this review. My boyfriend and I just came by for a couple California burritos add fish. They got the entire burrito wrong, and even then, it was inedible. Fish was straight oil. No carne asada that the burrito originally comes with, just tasted like raw potato. I've never seen my boyfriend unable to eat something until now. So I say hey they'll probably give us a refund, let's go check. We go back up to the window and the lady proceeds to tell us that it was OUR problem we didn't like the order, and that they prepared it correctly. When our visible reciept proved her wrong. She started talking crap to the chef about us and how it was our fault. The most unprofessional and rude experience I have ever had, and it was at a late night Mexican place? Been coming here for years and will be now screaming from the rooftops to everyone I know, DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS.

Before the plague, we regularly ate at Carolina's because of the quality of their food. The other day, I ordered the carnitas plate (my fav). Despite the +$, memories of tasty meals made the increase palatable. I was surprised and disappointed with my meal. The carnitas were fatty, a bit unrecognizable, and not savory. The quality of the meat, lack of flavor, and cost makes it unlikely that this was a one-off. Nice memories of meals with my family.

My husband & I went through the drive through about 15 mins ago. We asked for a carne asada torta with the meat picada. You can clearly see that the meat is whole. Not only that the bread was so hard that when he went to take a bite he couldn't! Very upset as this was our "dinner" we had just gotten into town from being away.

RUDE and a scammer! I went to the drive thru and ordered my total was $23.87 when I got to the window she then told me 33.18, I paid it and asked for my receipt. She took a while to bring the receipt. When she came back to the window she said, "Im sorry I charged you for someone else's order let me get you change." She was giving herself a $10 tip.. lmao.. not on my watch. Be aware of this scam.... She knew exactly what she was doing. I was the only car in the drive thru...whose order did you accidentally charge me for. (lol) the ghost car?

Went in their drive through ordered fish taco meal for my 95year old client who was looking forward to having diner. Unfortunately when we got home the fish taco was totally burnt to a crisp. He was absolutely disappointed. Called them to inform them about it and they weren't sorry for it either. I AM NEVER GETTING FOOD FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN!

Did something change here... I've had breakfast burritos with sausage from here before, but never was bell pepper added and onion was very overwhelming not enough egg and the sausage was more like a hotdog not sausage , also was very moist. I had to take it apart to take out all the bell pepper , very disappointed.

We felt like having breakfast burritos last weekend. We read great reviews about the steak burritos. We each ended up ordering the steak burritos. My brother in law really enjoys them also. It was nice to get in and out using their drive thru.

Worst service ever! They told me I can't make an order over the phone and need to do it on the website. But their website is down. In person, they were rude women. It's like they're bitter about something. Probably because their restaurant is failing

This is the last time! I am greatly disappointed in the quality of their 24 Breakfast Burrito. Barely and potatoes and bacon, what bacon! And for $12.50! That's at least $3 more than the Greenback location, and they at least are not skimping on equal ingredients. Screwed again, but that's the last time.

This is the second time I've gotten food poisoning after eating from this restaurant. The first time I had the rolled chicken tacos for lunch and started feeling sick after I had eaten dinner that night so wasn't sure which meal the food poisoning had came from. Fast forward today the second time I have had Carolina's since I had originally gotten food poisoning, and here I am at midnight feeling very sick the carne asada nachos from Carolina's was the only meal I've had today. Now I know that this place has gotten me sick with food poisoning not once but TWICE in the last two times I've eaten from here. Please save yourself the risk of discomfort and sickness that comes with the food from this establishment!

So I live right around the corner and come here at least 2-3 times a week. I always order the same thing. A super burrito and a side that includes grilled chicken, rice, and beans in a small container for my 1 year old daughter. Never have a came across an issue ordering it this way as I always let them know it's for a baby. Today the lady that was helping me was extremely rude and did not want to give me the side because she says "it is not in the menu" and was beyond extremely rude. I understand that but they have always satisfied me as a customer which is what continued to bring me back. Today I was extremely disappointed as it's not hard just adding a small amount of those items to a side container. All you gain from that is a happy customer so what is there to lose? Well now you lost a loyal customer

Sometimes the line can get long in drive through. Food is great and satisfying. Best part is it's open 24/7, I'm surprised how many restaurants in Roseville close by 8:00pm or 9:00pm during the week.

I loved my fish taco meal. It was very well flavored, the fish pieces were crisp and nice and the corn tortillas completed the meal nicely.

I have been spending my money at this place for over a year - at least once a week. I am a vegetarian, and order my tacos with beans, no meat. They have now decided to charge an extra $1 to order beans, no meat. What? So I am saving them money by ordering beans instead of meat, but they are deciding to penalize by charging more money. They just lost a loyal customer!

Ordered rolled tacos with sour cream and cheese. What I got was rolled tacos, guacamole and charged with a side of sour cream. No sour cream check your orders.

Everyone here is incredibly kind, and I always enjoy what I order. The street tacos and rolled tacos are my absolute favorites--no late-night snack can top Carolina's. The line can vary in length, but no matter how busy they are, the staff is always welcoming and makes you want to come back. I usually eat in the parking lot at night and feel safe doing so. I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

This place used to be good about 6m ago. I usually get the chicken torta. This time, meat had some chucks of dark chicken pieces. Hard to chew. Disappointed.

Food is always solid. The wait time is minimal. Saw T-Pain at the venue ... it was lit of course. I wasn't tryna eat at the casino... stopped here on the way back to Sacramento... this is my favorite location for over 10 years. Me and a pal Had the CA BURRITO and babe had a chicken quesadilla... I'm writing this review bummed I ate it all last night. The food was so fresh and delicious... I've always been Abel to get a solid meal from them. Thank you.

On the basis of their bean & cheese burrito, this is 5 stars, only thing I get here besides the carnitas mini tacos, which are also delicious. Gotta have the bean & cheese burrito & get the red sauce to pour onto each bite.... yum. Green sauce for the carnitas mini tacos. Only issue is that the burritos can vary in size depending on who's working. And the drive thru line can be long at times. As far as I'm concerned, Carolinas has the best bean & cheese burrito in Roseville... and I've tried the others!

PROS: Chile Relleno was delicious. Beans were yummy. Carnitas is always good here, with just the right amount of fat. Seasoned well, but not too salty. Rolled Tacos were yummy. Both salsas, Red and Green are pretty good also. Gentlemen who took my order was super nice. CONS: The rice was crunchy...like maybe it was from yesterday. Not fresh at all.

2 stars only because they're open 24/7. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Even with proper expectations set for drive through quality Mexican food, this place is disgusting. The tortillas for the tacos were super stale, tasted like they'd been sitting out for weeks. Bean and cheese burrito which is hard to mess up was just a giant folded tortilla with beans spilling out everywhere. Chicken tacos just had huge chunks of chicken thrown on top of tortillas. Plus they got the order wrong. Even if you're drunk and hungry and it's the middle of the night- avoid this place and go somewhere else

Food is great but the extra charge for 2 containers of sauce is ridiculous. Considering you can go any where else and get green and red sauce for free in the same amount. Robbery at its finest LOL definitely check your receipts with this place. They've over charged me many times. This is just the first review I've left.

The food is great. Too bad the people are so rude. I'm out for a walk and I stopped in to get one of their delicious breakfast burritos. All of the open signs are on, but the doors are locked and the man and woman inside were just ignoring my knocks on the doors while I walked around and tried the other doors. Finally, the woman glared at me and held up both hands, but then turned around and sat with the man at the table. Turn off your open signs then. I'll guess I will walk home and make my own breakfast burrito.

I like their chicken, which i usually get in the chicken taco. Their churro and horchata are also enjoyable. Not a big fan of the refried beans in the breakfast and vegetarian burritos, would prefer regularly cooked (boiled) pinto beans. I also like the nee diner area.

Quick food service but for every 5 visits- we go back at least twice because they mess up an order/forget items. Order a burrito and double check that you say "no sour cream" and then take a bite full of it... or they'll forget your quesadilla and chips entirely. As long as you check before you leave you should be good!

Quite possibly the worst burrito I've ever had in my life. The burrito came with what was supposed to be shredded chicken, but was really two large chunks that I had to shred myself to even out the burrito and a ridiculously large chunk of tomato that came from, I don't know where, cuz there was no pico de gallo in it . And I had to spice it myself to make it tolerable and I'm still upset that I ate only half gave the rest to my dog who didn't finish it. I'm not exaggerating.

I ordered 7 burritos, three of them vegetarian, but the lady said they had no beans. Yet the rest of my burritos came with beans. I requested they slice them in half and she refused. Considering my bill was almost $80, she was not respectful and also not friendly. Burritos were not great and they were so small. Never again!

This will be my second attempt at trying this place. The first time was a couple of months ago, I am very specific with my orders since I have food allergies. I was given a few tacos that I could not eat. No big deal, thankfully I checked and did not make a huge deal of it. Tonight at about 0215am I was yelled at through the loud speaker. I even attempted to call and explain my experience and I got yelled at on the phone. I guess it is just my luck with this place, maybe when I decide to come the workers may be having a bad night. Either way I will never return or recommend this place. Ever ! I'd rather eat at California burrito. They are much better and professional. I am definitely going to spread the word because that was so uncalled for and rude. I just wanted to eat during this long shift. I wish you guys the best. But your customers deserve respect at the least.
