"Right as the rest of Charleston was getting ready for a busy Halloween weekend, Avondale establishment Caroline’s Aloha Bar (formerly Voodoo Lounge) announced its impending closure. The post read: The bar at 15 Magnolia Road is known to many as Voodoo Lounge, but in 2020, the owners, Jen and Mike Kulick, decided to rebrand the space as the more family-friendly Caroline’s Aloha Bar after the sudden death of bar manager Caroline Smith-Adams, who helmed Voodoo for 15 years. Voodoo was known for its giant tiki drinks and tater tots, which also became staples of Caroline’s. The bar’s last night is Saturday, November 12. No word yet of what will become of the property or if the bar will relocate." - Erin Perkins

Dinner at Caroline's Aloha Bar. The food was incredible. Had The Hawaiian Burger with red curry tots. We shared the loaded tots, crab rangoonies, and jalapeño poppers. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Charleston.

Ok I love this place. First time visiting and got the burger with the Krispy Kreme donut as a bun. SO GOOD. I’ve never had such a concoction but they just go together so well. I’ve been telling all my friends about this burger. Cute spot too!

Good place to go out for a drink or two. There is no dress code which is a perfect hangout area. Went to another nearby barn and I must say that this one has the cheapest beer. Also they are cocktails are very unique and delicious. Will definitely go back when visiting the area.

Food was top tier! I had the duck sliders and the truffle tator tots. The tots came with a green curry mayo-Delicious! I had a planters punch, a voodoo mule, and the zombie. Favorites were the zombie and planters punch! Visiting from out of town and will be back!

Tiki bar!!! Great place, great drinks, duck tacos are awesome, truffle tots you gotta have. Frozen drinks are dangerously good! And the staff are just as awesome. Favorite place on my trip down here

Voodoo has become Caroline's Aloha Bar to honor the legacy of the former manager who had a positive impact on the lives of everyone lucky enough to have had met her. The new menu features amazing smash burgers, tweaks and updates, and many of the old favorites. I was very impressed with the kimchi burger and the red curry tots! I'm so excited that they are now open for lunch daily and brunch on the weekends. This will continue to be one of my regular spots!

One of the first bars we ventured to in chucktown and sad we waited this long for bunch. Fried Shrimp and grits balls and Mike’s famous duck club. Solid $5 mimosas and bloodies.
