Yelp
I'm very torn about the spot. 3.5 stars It was a recommendation from locals as we are out of town from Atlanta and I'd say the food was definitely four stars but the service was like two stars. We ordered oysters, Caesar salad, and fritters for starters, and then our entrées, all at the same time. Our salad and fritters came first, which was odd, because usually when you order oysters as the first thing to show up, then we were finishing our fritters and salad, which both were very tasty, and we ask them. Hey are we still getting our oysters? And he said yes he's just finishing them. It's an oyster bar right so we got two of each of the oysters on the list. They were ok, but not that varied in flavor or region - and big catch was it came with cocktail sauce and vinegar but no horseradish. Usually with good oysters you don't want to lose the flavor with something like a cocktail sauce, but there wasn't any horseradish at all to enhance it.
Anyway, glad oysters got there. We also ordered champagne to go with the oysters and the champagne gets there as we have maybe two of our dozen left. Little frustrating. Then our entrées also arrive as we are in the middle of our oysters. Thought this was an upscale restaurant, where they would think the time things out properly but OK. So then, on a table top for two, we have this tray of oysters in our entrée. We finish our oysters, put the oysters to the outside of the table for access to pick it up. I took a photo because we legit basically finish your entrées and the oysters were still sitting there. Mind you, it's a Monday night it's not that busy and our server passed by a few times. I just think he didn't think to get it out of the way.
In short, the ambience of the restaurant is good, chill music, ha ha ha food was good, service seems a little underwhelming for this type of restaurant caliber.
