The Plaza Hotel and Casino is a landmark of downtown Las Vegas, a classic, as vintage Vegas as it gets. Located at the beginning of the Fremont Street Experience, it is a famous building that has been featured or is visible in several movies, including the 1971 James Bond film, "Diamonds are Forever;" "Back to the Future Part II; "Casino," and "Pay it Forward.
The hotel's entrance is a dazzling display of lights and colors that welcomes you to a world of entertainment and excitement. The entrance features the distinctive dome (where the Oscar’s Steakhouse sits) and covers a new circular bar below it, called the Carousel Bar. This bar is a unique attraction that offers cocktails, and outdoor video poker machines in a life-sized, animated Vegas-themed carousel setting. The Bar has carousel horses that move up and down, a spinning martini glass, a deck of cards, and a 14-foot-tall neon showgirl sign that invites you to sip in style.
The entrance is a destination unto itself, where you can take the best instagramable photos, chill, people watch, or host an event under the iconic glittering lights of the Plaza's porte-cochère. A must see for sure!
