I think the best reviews come several days after your experience, especially with things like this. How do you feel about your hair and nails days later? Well, me, I love it all! Meg and Cassidy did such an amazing job making me look and feel beautiful! My nails still look perfect and it's been nearly a week! I've never had that happen before. I do a lot with my hands and usually, the color has begun to peel and crack. Well, as of now, they haven't begun to chip, fade, or peel and that's saying a lot. I love my hair color and cut too, the colors still look good nearly a week later and that's often not the case. By now, after a few showers, a lot of it has come out and so far, it hasn't. Thank you, ladies!! You not only made me look amazing, but you also took the time to get to know me and make me feel special. I'll gladly come back again!

I highly recommend Carpe Diem Hair Studio Inc. The owners Dave & Sarah Olds are awesome as well as the other stylists who work there. Sophie is my stylist and she always does a great job! The receptionist Maddie is always a delight as well. They will be celebrating 30 years on April 11, 2025! Congratulations!!

I don’t think the google photos or Instagram page gives this salon the justice it deserves! The hair is so simple, timeless and the team is able to really adapt to any photo you show them for inspiration and give you a look you were hoping for. The salon team was friendly, lovely to work with, quick and gave us a private space to hangout, eat/drink, and do makeup. The bridal party that chose to get their makeup done at the salon had makeup artists who did a stunning job and still made the girls look natural. I would highly recommend!

I would not recommend giving your money to this place. They do not treat their employees fairly or with respect. Better off somewhere who appreciates their employees.

Gorgeous place with a friendly, accommodating staff! The owners are amazing people who go out of their way to make you feel at home! My group of 6 girls felt very pampered and special for homecoming!

Highly recommend! I only need professional hair cut a couple times a year. I always feel welcomed. Sarah is very professional and knows her customer's taste! Thank you Sarah! I've gotten compliments every day for the last few weeks!

I called asking for color/highlight with them and when I called to make a reservation the assistant put me down as only a CUT without even double checking or asking any other questions or notifications to make sure that’s what I wanted. Then once I got there under the impression it was a color appointment the stylist did nothing to remedy this mistake other then doing a useless treatment that just ended up damaging my hair more then removing or doing anything else to my hair! I hope to see better service in the future but I’m EXTREMELY disappointed. (Also the pricing is very high. Just for my upsetting experience was about $50)

I'm new to the area, and decided to look up salons on Google. They had some good reviews and I decided to give it a shot. I made an appointment for a hairstylist (I requested someone who's good with curly hair), and a consultation for a hair color appointment. The front desk staff was very friendly and the environment is relaxing. I didn't let my Stylist (Cassidy) know that I previously was a hairstylist for 18 yrs. I played dumb. To make this short and to the point. I was very disappointed when I left. She cut my hair without asking me if I liked it at the end. Which I wanted more off. As soon as she got done cutting it. She started styling it. Something I didn't want do. She ended up cutting my layers way too short on top and styling my hair like I was in an 80's hair band. She also only talked about herself the whole time and didn't try to get to know me at all. It all felt too immature and unprofessional. I will not be going back.

Ashlea was very skilled and worked well with my hair type. Great service and nice location. Good experience but would skip the product purchase at checkout. Too much for what it was. Otherwise very happy and plan to go back!

Was a great to return to Carpe Diem, was in town from Gilbert/Scottsdale AZ for high school class reunion and figured I'd treat myself to wash and style. So nice to see Dave, he did my hair years before and after he opened CD in 1995. We moved to AZ in 1998 and it took me a while to find someone in AZ who did light blond color and cuts like Dave did. Cassidy gave me a relaxing and enjoyable head wash and nice style with my short cut. Lovely salon with top service, staff, pleasantries, and Aveda products. Next time back in West Bend will make an appt again.

This is how my future daughter-in-law's hair turned out for the wedding day trial. It looks nothing like she wanted. Everyone that she shows the picture to either of laughs or look shocked. That is not the reaction you want on your wedding day. A complaint was made to the owner Dave, his response was that it's difficult to duplicate a hairstyle. She was charged $105 for this. She would've had to pay $107 on her wedding day for them to do this. Needless to say she canceled the appointment for herself and her bridesmaids. They also applied make up. She told the stylist that she has an oily complexion. She was told that they only have one type of foundation. Within an hour her face was shiny.

I've been going here since I was 12! It's a wonderful atmosphere and all of the stylists are amazing. I love everything about this salon. Dave, Sarah b, and Val have always done the best job. Plus, the conversation is always fun! I haven't met an employee yet that is subpar. They hold high standards and the customer service is fantastic.

Val is the absolute best. Incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The ONLY person I truly trust to do my cuts and color- I've been to a few top salons that don't even compare. Always a pleasure coming back to this place.

So I went for a consult at Carpe Diem Hair Studio Inc. in west bend wi to see what type of extensions I should get for my new hair do/cut because I wanted extensions. I went there because I had gone before and liked the results. However this last time was indeed my last time. Dave the manager is nothing but an arrogant asshole along with employing less than competent employees. After purchasing the extension that I was recommended to do I did and then waited for my appointment. I went and Ashlea said that they were perfect and would turn out pretty close to what I wanted. That wasn't the case. They came out terrible and didn't match AT ALL. After going back numerous times she had finally said that she had never done extensions before and this was her first time. Needless to say by the photos I am NOT PLEASED. Not only did this employee lie about their experience and with how comfortable they were with the request I had asked for they treated me like I was the one at fault. Treated me like this was my fault that their employee continued to perform work she was not comfortable with. Would you be pleased with these results? I am not. I will not be going back especially with how I was treated by Dave when I was told to "get out" after I wanted to get my money back for the extensions they informed me that I purchase and then proceeded to color even though they knew that they weren't the correct color to begin with. Val and Dave have done my color perfectly, and it's very much appreciated. It has taken a little while to find someone who understands what I want. The prices are very reasonable too! They also work hard to accommodate my schedule. Thank you!!!!

Sarah and Dave, the salon owners, are among the most talented stylists I have known. My hair cuts are always perfect and easy to maintain. The experience at Carpe Diem is always uplifting. These people are pros!
