Uptown Restaurant Lark on the Park Will Close This Weekend - Eater Dallas

"Lark on the Park, a Downtown eatery known for its views of Klyde Warren Park, is officially closing its doors. Owner Shannon Wynne announced the news in a statement on Tuesday, citing a 'changing climate in chef-driven concepts' as the reason behind the shutter. 'When we signed our lease, nobody knew what to expect from Park visitors,' Wynne wrote. 'We think now, with the maturing of the downtown residential population, that we need to afford a more comfortable and approachable product that better serves the neighborhood, for those that both work and live there.' Lark on the Park will open for its last service on Sunday, December 2." - Amy McCarthy

Great hidden gym very nice. Well maintained maintenance safe environment for people to come and walk their dogs and play basketball.

The city isn't spraying for mosquitoes at this park. The city of Dallas also allows homeless to sleep at night. The homeless are aggressive, nasty by peeing everywhere, and intrusive. They are allowed to sleep in the dog area, so pets can't go in Dallas security is useless and not helpful.

Opens May 3, 2022. A beautiful, downtown, green space with water features, landscaped walking paths, enclosed dog park, basketball court, large art installation, and public restrooms.

This park is very new. It opened on May 7th. It is a huge hit. There are water shows. Two to be exact. The park is rather big considering it’s downtown. They provide parking spaces for visitors. There is a couple of basketball courts, a path that runs the entire length of the park and surrounds the park as well. There is a beautiful view of downtown Dallas. The grass consists of beautiful greenery.

This was a perfectly placed park next to the transit center that I was headed too and it seems I needed a quick break, a moment to meditate & clear my mind. Smack dab in the middle of the city and it was exactly what i needed as I watched the fountains water works dance around the stones. Relief!

It is a beautiful addition to the downtown area. I was transferring from the DART train to my bus to come home from working at the car auction. I had to stop at the East transit center to use the facility. But unfortunately it was closed. They should have some type of outdoor facility when the transit center is closed on Sundays.

Yelp
I love that the City of Dallas converted this space to a useable park. It is off the beaten path, but I'm sure it won't be long until there are high rise apartments on top of it. There are plenty of places to sit and chill, an area for dogs, a small basketball court. and gorgeous views of downtown Dallas. Would love too see this place when the fountains are going.
