"The West Island has an active Caribbean community. At Tasty Treats the menu runs the gamut: ackee, curries, jerk, stews, rotis, patties, and hard-to-find desserts like potato pudding and black cake." - JP Karwacki, Eater Staff

I went there with my Son Jr yesterday for the first time, it was my Son’s second time there. We both took the Jerk Chicken to go with 2 Jamaican patties, it was delicious all cooked to perfection just perfect, I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, it’s a very clean restaurant and the service was fantastic, we were served by Danny the owner he was very friendly and pleasant. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are perfect. Next time we’ll be sitting in to enjoy our meal there. Thanks Danny👍🏼

Delicious! Happened to drive by and thought I'd give it a try (take out). I had the chicken roti and my husband had a mixed plate (curry goat and oxtail). Both were delicious! Portions were very generous too. Will definitely be back.

I don't really like to eat out much, especially Caribbean food. This was the first time I've ever been to this restaurant and definitely not my last. The service was great; a very respectful young lady took my order: 2 plates of curry goat and 2 curry goat roti. The restaurant overall had a homey feeling; I liked it. Now, the food—let me tell you, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Mmmmm! The rice and peas were on point. I ate it with a spoon; no time for a fork. I was not trying to be cute. Curry goat was well seasoned and tender; I ate that with my hands. I did not miss a bite; I was sucking on that bone, making sure I got all that flavor in my mouth. It was so delicious and perfect to my taste buds. I was going to save my roti for later, but I mean, at this point, I ate it too, and it was just as delicious. I would definitely be coming back, hands down.

Tried the oxtail, curry chicken with rice and soup. Oxtail with rice was super. Curry chicken was good as well, though found the turmeric taste a little overpowering. Soup was decent. Plantain was tasty. Overall good Carribean food.

Giving this place an average rating as it had its ups and downs. Mind you I ordered just before closing so perhaps that had something to make of it. I got the chicken roti which was good but felt a bit dry inside. Their hot sauce added some necessary juice but be warned that stuff is hot! I also got the jerk chicken plate and the chicken was pretty delicious but rice had a strange taste to it. Not what I was used to from other carribean places like Carribean Curry House. The fried fish cakes were also pretty solid but felt heavy on oil. Overall pretty decent but I’ve had some better experiences. I’ll give this place another shot soon and update the review.

My husband and I were craving Caribbean food and we finally found the perfect place! Plus, it's in the West Island which is close to us. Picture is of Roti that we ordered for takeout. We shared two so this plate shows half Goat (with small bones) and half chicken. It was delicious. We also ordered the oxtail which literally melts in your mouth. Divine is how I would describe the taste :) The fried plantains were yummy and the Jerk chicken tasty. Pretty sure it was the owners who greeted and served us. They were friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend to anyone who is searching for a flavorful meal.

Love the food! We always do take outor delivery. Goat curry, rotis, ox tail and jerk chicken are our go-tos. When they have festivals (fried donuts) and black cake, we always get some.

Authentic food at a reasonable price! Jerk chicken is very good! Not too spicy but order it with their hot sauce if you like the heat. Not sure what it’s made from but it definitely has great flavour and lots of kick 🔥 give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!
