Fantastic pub meal with a huge range on the specials board, quiet atmosphere with lovely staff, had the prawn carbonara OMG !! Best meal I've had in a long time, amazing, the place was busy and they were bringing out the food in know time, a place I recommend and I will be back 😋🤗

Glorious country pub with great food, friendly service and a warm fire place during the colder months. Definitely worth visiting.

5 out of 5 for food and atmosphere. Make sure you book though because everyone else knows how good the food is too. We have been here quite a few times now. The pub grub is outstanding! More like restaurant quality food. Once we shared a dish and they split it for us and brought out on 2 plates. Now that is great service! Staff always have a smile. There's an open fireplace in the pub area and a closed one in the dining area. They have a pool table and plenty of parking down the side and out the back. There is a Thirsty Camel out the back for take aways.

Visiting an old country pub on a cold rainy night is a nice Tasmanian experience. I ordered a braised lamb shank with seasonal vegetables and enjoyed it very much. The service was casual and friendly.
