On the Grid : Carroll Street Cafe

"Wanna have brunch with your dog? This charming restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even late night drinks. Carroll St Cafe is the epitome of the low-key funky art vibe of Cabbagetown. The street-side patio is perfect for watching the commotion of a blatantly one-way street trying to accommodate for two-way traffic. In all, it’s the closest thing to a Parisian bistro in the city." - 3 Owl Media

Google
We enjoy Carroll Street cafe! I especially like that they have gluten-free buns for the sandwiches and gluten-free pasta. I have had the chicken cob sandwich and the salmon sandwich and both are good. They have three different flavors of mayo which I like -regular mayo, sun-dried, tomato, mayo, and a cilantro, lime mayo. Reasonable prices for a sandwich with fries and a side salad ($18). My friend liked that they have sugar free pumpkin spice latte in May, which was cool. Service can be a bit slow, but the food is pretty good.

Google
Carroll Street Cafe is a charming hidden gem nestled in the heart of Cabbagetown. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere that blends bohemian charm with a laid-back, artsy vibe. It truly feels like a special little escape from the bustle of the city. The Belgian waffles were absolutely delicious — perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served with just the right balance of sweetness. You can really taste the care that goes into making them. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, radiating warmth the entire time. Her smile never faded, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for. This spot has definitely earned a place on our go-to list for breakfast, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Google
First time to Carroll Street Cafe and it was an awesome experience! The service was top notch. The food came out quickly, hot, flavorful and delicious. We loved all of the food especially the Honey Brie Croissant. It was crazy good! The espresso was also very good. I love the art inside including the amazing, huge chalkboard art. Super good vibes here too. Love it!

Google
Stayed in Cabbagetown for less than 36 hours and had brunch to start the day and ended the day with a drink, app, and dessert. Perfection. Warm, friendly, quirky atmosphere. Felt like a big hug stepping in. You feel like family in a locals favorite place. Recommend sitting at the bar and taking in the effervescent atmosphere of worth and delight. It was a highlight to our stay in the neighborhood.

Google
I use to LOVE this place so much because of the flavor of the food but tonight I changed my mind. Not because of the food, but because of the SERVICE. We understand that the kitchen tends to close before 10, which closing time is 11, if there isn’t enough customers. So we called ahead to ensure it would be open and they confirmed yes. When we get there it was 9:57 PM, and as soon as we sat down the waitress (older lady with long black hair) informed us we had 3 minutes to order as they were closing. She said this with AN ATTITUDE. Now mind you, whenever I go here we spend about $80 worth of food, and even though we love it, we decided to go somewhere else because the waitress was very rude to us. We are customers and are there to spend $$$ for not only great food, but SERVICE TOO. Let’s just say we decided to leave and take our hard earned money to spend it somewhere else we are treated decent and fair. To management: if you are reading this, please do better in your customer service aspect of the restaurant. When this improves, I’ll bring my business back. Thank you.

Google
I stumbled upon this breakfast place and I loved it. Very cool atmosphere and the food came out hot and fast.

Google
We thoroughly enjoyed this place! Great Saturday brunch spot. The service was top tier, atmosphere was inviting, and the food and drinks were exceptional! Believe the hype on the biscuits! I ordered the fried chicken and grits. My partner orders the chicken sausage omelette. Left this place full and satisfied. Can't wait to go back! Parking: I highly advise parking a street or two over to avoid the narrowing streets.

Google
We visit Atlanta at least once a year, and this is going to be one of our routine stops now! The cappuccinos were beautiful and delicious, the atmosphere was romantic and casual, and the food was perfect. Every waiter/waitress I saw was very polite and helpful! They are also very dog friendly and will bring a water bowl to your outdoor table for them.

Yelp
We needed a place to "hang" for awhile in Atlanta and found this spot. Without a doubt one of the best places I have been. Our server was very attentive, but not overly so. I had "Moving Castle", a steak sandwich, and a chai latte. Everything was perfect. We needed to stay for awhile and never felt rushed or pushed to leave. We did come in after lunch so it wasn't crowded. We had a front seat at the window and were able to enjoy watching two way traffic on a road that really shouldn't be. Needless to say, if we are back in the area we would stop in.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for brunch on a random weekday and it was so lovely! The food was great - pancakes are some of the fluffiest I've had - and the server was so attentive. The only downside is parking as you'll have to find street parking around the neighborhood, but it wasn't too hard for us since we came on a weekday.

Yelp
One of my favorite low key places in Atlanta. It has a cozy ambiance and the service was great. I go the Fattoush salad with blackened salmon. Absolutely delicious.

Yelp
This place is located in a great spot. I was new to the area, visiting on business and wanted some grits. Going this place on Yelp and it didn't disappoint. Very delicious and the service was even better. Had grits and friend chicken accompanied by an amazing espresso martini.

Yelp
We had a party of 4 for brunch at 10:30 am on Friday, 7/7/23. Note that the brunch menu is smaller during the weekdays than on the weekend. Service was great! Our waitress was so sweet. Food was decent and came out quickly. Portions were generous! We sat inside, which was really cute! Loved the chalkboard art. I got the Pancake Plate ($16) with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. The casing of the sausage was really hard, so I wouldn't get that again. The pancakes were really good and came topped with fruit! The eggs were good too! Someone in my party got the Lox Plate ($15). The bagel looked good, but it came with cream cheese that you would get in a school cafeteria. They gotta up their cream cheese game! Someone else got the Potato Cakes ($7.00 I think), and they said they weren't worth it for the price. I had the Cabbageccino, which was an iced cappuccino with brown sugar, and I personally didn't like it, but someone else in my party did. I liked the Chai Latte. They have a nice coffee menu, all of which can be made hot or cold. Decent brunch option if you're in the area.

Yelp
This is evening late night spot for drinks and dessert. It's got a great outdoor seating and indoor vibes. The bees knees is the best I have ever had. They have a huge selection that changes often (same vendor as at apres diem) Try it out. I'll be a regular while we have the perfect summer spring weather.

Yelp
Yeah buddy, we were in a pinch. My buddy lost his passports, missed his flight and I'm driving him everywhere when the hunger hits. Peckish? Fine. Hungry? Fine. Very hungry? Workable. Hangriness encroaching..? Uhoh! Luckily we were near a place I always wanted to try... Carroll Street Cafe! They set us up outside, gave my buddy the wifi info so he could contact the airlines, got us a menu and I started working on holding the hangriness down. Awesome service here! I got myself a No Scrubs specialty drink to tame the beast and it was good. Jalapeno tequila, lime and grapefruit sparkling... Mmmmm! Eggs Muerette deliciously placated the beast within me while my friend enjoyed the Fried Chicken and Grits. Finally a slice of Raspberry Mousse cake and a cappuccino left the beast slumbering and thoroughly pacified. I took a slice of the Midnight Express home to my husband but sadly neither one of us enjoyed it, but hey, you can't win them all. Great food. Great space. Great service. I shall return.

Yelp
Carroll Street Café is nestled within a residential street. There's a full bar and plenty of seating options inside, but my friend and I preferred sitting outside. The service was remarkable and our food was served pretty quick! For appetizers, we ordered a Cheese Plate, Tomato Montrachet, and Mussels. You won't regret getting the latter two of the appetizers! The marinara in the Tomato Montrachet had a velvety texture, and the goat cheese was very creamy. As for the mussels, I'm not a huge fan of these molluscs, but the white wine garlic broth that this dish came in was amazing! Unfortunately, the Cheese Plate was mediocre; nothing fancy or tasty about it. For entrees, we tried the Salmon Ciabatta Sandwich, Pan Roasted Sea Bass, and Penne Albufera with Shrimp. The salmon was too dry, but the sea bass and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The Penne Albufera was overloaded with cheese. My favorite entree among these three was the Pan Roasted Sea Bass. While the price point is on the higher end, I do think you get a good portion of food. Overall, our meal was healthy and fresh!

Yelp
Great food and service The atmosphere is nice Just the parking is a bit challenging and tight street to drive through

Yelp
We love to come sit outside at this amazing Cafe in Cabbagetown. Breakfasts are amazing, service is fantastic and personable, but the lunch I had yesterday just elevated this place to 5 stars in my book! I had a grilled Branzino fish over rice with a Greek salsa overtop that knocked my socks off!!! It had capers, peppers, Greek and green olives, cherry tomato, onion, etc and I included a bowl of their fabulous French onion soup!! it's not often these days that with EVERY bit I kept saying- THIS is DELICIOUS!! And the weather was perfect for outdoor dining... I might go eat there daily!

Yelp
Oh baby! I'm glad I gave this restaurant a shot! Did not disappoint!! Perfect hidden brunch spot. The drinks were amazing!!! One of the best expresso martinis I've had. I was in love, the bartender did her thing. The food was good... this is a place I will definitely return too. The environment overall is chill and friendly, staff was polite and patience.

Yelp
I love this street quite peace in the morning people are nice and kind breakfast is fantastic!

Yelp
Ok, manager. Don't give me the wrong plate that look similar to our meals then give me the side eye cause yo azz made a mistake. I had the Basil Noodle Bowl with chicken but it was supposed to be salmon and shrimp. I'm like okay I don't wanna wait so I'll just eat this and have them take off one of the protein s. Hubby had seafood pasta and got the one with salmon. He said the same thing. So manager asks if everything is okay and we tell her it looks like they didn't give the right proteins but we're okay with that. She goes with 'tude "yeah your meals are sitting up there and you're eating the meals for the folks next to you" like it was our fault. No apologies or nothing. To top it off when the couple next to us finally got their food it was still wrong. Okay with that out the way, we hadn't dined here in a while due to parking and no reservations but with March Madness we were able to easily get a table. Food, even though the wrong order and attitude from the manager we managed to have a good meal, cocktails and a good time.

Yelp
Crab cakes are delicious. Black Betty cocktail with gin instead of tequila is refreshing. Sitting outside enjoying the nice Georgia evening weather.

Yelp
Great food, great ambiance, great service best kept secret that Cabbage Town has to offer.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the cabbagecino. It has cinnamon on the top and didn't need additional sugar. The service and food was very good. Enjoyed the empanadas and the spicy sauce. The lamb sliders were tasty. I had the salmon sandwich. The salmon was a tad over cooked but very good nevertheless. I would Definitely return.

Yelp
Love Carroll street forever and forever. They're a bit expensive but who gives a shit. The ambiance is great and feels special. The service is always good.. can be a tad bit slow when they're busy but it's a small place.. read the room. And the food, consistently good. The Thai beef salad is top tier. All the cakes are dope and they'll make you any cocktail/mocktail you could ever ask for. I love you Carroll street.

Yelp
This is my go to spot. I love the vibes here. I always order the penne Albufera. I highly recommend. Only downside is there's only street parking and on the weekends it gets full

Yelp
A very good cafe in the middle of a unique community! So much to see between the tattoo parlor next door and surrounding colorful cottages, eating outdoors would be a visual treat. I went simple for brunch, a traditional breakfast(eggs, pork sausage, potatoes) all well prepared. My husband enjoyed the Brie & almond croissant and lox small plate(he said it was a perfect combo!) The portions were just right. The only thing I did not like is the coffee- it was too biter for my taste, but the offer a variety of drinks (expresso's, lates, herbal teas, cocktails)

Yelp
If y'all are looking for a local spot, with good vibes, and delicious food and drinks, Carroll Street Café is it! What a GEM of a spot this is. My sister and I visited at dinner time and were kindly greeted by staff as we made our way to the table of our choice. The menu can be seen by scanning the QR code at your table - I appreciate the sustainable and eco-friendly digital menus! We ordered an appetizer of the patatas bravas, which were exceptional. The potato's were cooked perfectly, with a crunchy exterior and a hot fluffy interior that paired beautifully with the smoky chipotle aioli. For our entrees, I ordered the pear and Gorgonzola salad with blackened salmon and my sister ordered the Seafood Penne. Both were an absolute HOME RUN. Carroll Street, y'all knocked this one well beyond the confines of the ballpark! The sauce used in the seafood penne was so delicious, we could've ordered it as a soup and been just as delighted. For dessert, we each ordered a slice of cake; blueberry lemon and raspberry mousse. Both were absolutely scrumptious and wholly satisfied our sweet tooth's. This was the absolute cherry on top of our, already, magnificent meal. Our dining and flavor-infused experience was, hands-down, one of my favorites of 2022 thus far. What a memorable, delectable, and enjoyable meal we had. I highly recommend this spot to any and all!

Lorenzo V.

Yelp
I've been coming here faithfully with friends for the last I don't know how many years, it's our spot. We bring everyone here. The manager who claims she's been managing for the last two years, had a terrible attitude when my boyfriend and I walked in at 10:10 on Sunday 4/28 and said "we did last call". 50 minutes before the restaurant closes? We confirmed we heard what we heard and she just looks at us with a nasty attitude and say on Sunday's we do last call early. Interesting because as I look the photos in my phone from January. I was served around 10:30. People were still actively placing orders with a waitress when she told us this. We also happened to be the only African American guests. Will not be supporting this spot any more and it sucks because it's a neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Carroll Street Café is a hidden gem seriously. It's a cozy little café that's made to feel like you're on the streets of some European town. I lived in the neighborhood for quite some time before I ran into this little duck off. The vibe and the energy of this place is intoxicating, all the patron are happy, smiling and laughing. It sucked me in after my first visit and I've been frequenting this location since. They do offer outdoor seating and you can bring your pets. They have water bowls out front. They have a full bar inside and a small seating area or a comfy sofa if you're just there for drinks and a good time. I ordered the Blackened shrimp and the Seafood penne. The blackened shrimp aren't spicy but packed with flavor. They have a sweet after taste due to being placed on top of a plantain. but this is in NO WAY a negative. This is a true appetizer for one, or am I just greedy?! UMMM!! but to be on the safe side order 2 for the table. The seafood penne is so creamy and the noodles literally melt in your mouth. All the seafood if fresh. I usually sub the mussels for additional shrimp or salmon. Could use a little salt and pepper depending on your taste buds. They do have a dessert shop on the opposite end of the establishment and I'm here to tell you I have had anything bad from the showcase. ANDDDD the price point is reasonable. Your money can go far in here!! The service is outstanding. It seems -and I could be wrong- Like everyone there likes their job I have yet to experience bad service. This is ideal for date night or a solo dinner and maybe a bite with a small group of friends. Parking is basically get in where you fit in. Mainly street parking but if you drive about half a block there is a little lot but it's usually packed
google avatar

Jade C.

Yelp
Parking is very minimal here, my friend and I definitely lucked up finding one upon arrival. When we walked in we noticed that they prefer you to seat yourself. It's like a coffee shop vibe but a lot more spacious. The area it's located gives me height st vibes from California. The staff was fairly friendly. I'm not sure if they take Apple Pay, I ended up paying with debit. I believe lunch time runs til 3. Let's talk about the meal. It was excellent! Tasted like the perfect breakfast made from scratch out of grandmas home. They have more to offer on the menu other than breakfast. Let me tell you that you catch go wrong ordering what I did! You can get the eggs any way that you'd like. When my eggs are scrambled I prefer them to be topped with cheddar cheese. *don't look forward to this amazing meal on a Saturday! They don't yo until 3ish, and breakfast is served up until then
google avatar

Mimi M.

Yelp
Hasn't disappointed us in 3 visits! Attentive servers. A cool, eclectic place with something for everyone. It has a bakery counter and a bar along with interesting salads and appetizers. Parking can be a pain, but enjoy the walk instead of grumbling. Plan extra time to linger.

Yelp
love everything about this place! it is so cute & cozy. we came at 11:30 on a saturday morning & there was no wait (it was raining though!) our server was so sweet! the food came out in maybe 10 minutes or less. everyone loved their dish - a good portion & variety of food for a good price. the belgian waffles were delicious! i think this might be my new go-to breakfast spot!

Yelp
First time at Carroll Street Cafe and it's definitely my type of vibe... on one side there's a Bar with plenty seating on the other side if feels more like a cafe with a bakery and fresh coffee aroma... my Mom enjoyed every bit of her breakfast...

Yelp
The perfect little cafe. The service and food is exactly what you'd expect going to a local cafe. The ambiance is pleasantly surprising. The walls are covered in art created by local artists. This tells me that passion lives here. The music they play is right up my alley. This place has a very chill vibe. I highly recommend this place for a casual breakfast or lunch.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
Came here a few years ago and gave it only 3 stars but I think it was unfair because I was hungover that day. I have since returned and I love this place. It's so nice how versatile it is. You can come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, coffee, cocktails or dessert. And the vibe fits all those occasions. I live their oysters. Also if you order a side salad it's only $2!!
google avatar

Robert L.

Yelp
Best Angus burger I've had in quite a while! Charred and perfect medium pink inside. Side salad was super crisp with a nice dressing. Only suggestion is put a water filter on the tap.

Yelp
Great service. Food delicious. Wonderful vibe. We had cabbage town breakfast and waffles. Enjoyed it. Will return. .

Yelp
Went this morning with my wife for breakfast/brunch. Sat for about 5 minutes before server came out. Our server was Maya, very polite and efficient hostess. She brought us water (Vero water in the bottle with actual glasses!) then gave us a moment to look at the menu. I order the Cabbagetown Breakfast with 2 eggs over medium, chicken sausage, potatoes and a croissant (they don't have white bread, only multigrain - for whatever reason that may be!). My wife had the penne albufera with chicken I believe. My eggs were over-easy and not over-medium which is ok since I like both but I prefer to get what I ask for; the chicken sausage was a nice size, excellent flavor - spicy, and cooked perfectly; amazingly and the highlight for me were the potatoes...I'm not sure what was all on them but they were potato cakes, almost looked like crab cakes, and they were DELICIOUS! I could eat those as a meal by themselves. What a pleasant surprise. My wife loved her penne, and I tried it also and though I'm usually not a penne pasta guy, it was really good. Also came with garlic bread which my wife usually doesn't eat but she was surprised to find she really like it. Prices are a little higher for breakfast if you're looking for a quick bite but I must say the quality and quantity of the food was easily worth it, and I would normally take a star off for something not being cooked to order but it turned out ok. Parking is hideous on Carroll St so be patient and prepared to walk. Overall great experience and will definitely return.

Yelp
I love Carroll street so much!!! I usually come with my laptop, journal or book. Everyone who works here is so sweet. Last time I came here to do some work, the playlist they had on was SOOOO good. 10/10

Yelp
I popped in here with a couple of buddies for a late breakfast. I had the pancake breakfast! My bacon was good, the eggs were just as ordered, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy :)! It was wonderful! The pancakes were so good and the other food served also looked really good! On top of good food, the servers were also really friendly and attentive! The restaurant was clean and inviting, and food came out quickly but well prepared. Parking can be a bit of an issue but you should be able to find a spot if you give it the old college try! This spot gets five stars for the good service, warm atmosphere, and wonderful staff! If you are in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try! If you are an out of town guest this restaurant will not disappoint, and it won't kill your wallet either!

Yelp
Good ambience...food is delicious... it's been one of my favorite spots for years. Still have the best chocolate martinis in the city
google avatar

Kee K.

Yelp
Strong drinks, quick and friendly service. Brunch menu is on point. I can only imagine dinner is just as good. Relaxed chill vibe. Very unpretentious which I love. They also have a small outdoor patio which would be nice to experience during the warmer months. Only hassle is the limited parking.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Foods alright nothing to write home about but not so bad it's inedible. It's just ok. Biscuit was the best part. I got the shrimp and grits. Nice amount of shrimp lil light on the grits and they are on the dryer side but not so dry it'll chock you. Mimosa was good. Will I come back probably not but that's because of the parking. Street parking was hard to find park about a half block away.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Nice vibes, nice service, nice food. On a Saturday night we were seated right away. The More Than a Woman specialty cocktail was very good. Turkey burger had good flavor. Cous cous was tasty. Nothing too wonderful to say but I'd return because I enjoyed the food.

Yelp
Carroll Street Café reminds me of the café's on Magazine street in New Orleans or downtown Baton Rouge, and luckily the warmth & service reminded me of home as well. We stopped buy on a Sunday afternoon.. it's Cabbagetown so parking is tough but we managed to find a park nearby. We were greeted immediately upon arriving and asked for a table outside. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. Greeted by a smiling & attentive waitress (I hate that I forgot her name she was awesome). She explained the menu, answered all of our questions, got some fresh water for our dog, and did it all with no hesitation. The almond Brie appetizer was delicious: came out hot and gooey. The chicken Cobb Sandwhich was fresh and was a big portion. My wife loved the ranchero and said it was tasty as well. We ordered a side of their chicken sausage and honestly it was the best chicken sausage I've ever had. The waitress went out of her way to give us the deets on the brand. We truly enjoyed the laid back vibes. The inside of the café was very warm & inviting with a "lived in" vibe. The restrooms were spotless & the coffee was strong. Really good experience hear and would definitely recommend for an easy, laidback, quality meal.

Yelp
OMG!!!! This hidden gem in the middle of downtown, on a side street is the bomb.com. I met a friend for brunch and our food was delicious. I wanted to try everything on the menu but ended up settling on the egg white omelet, w/grits, add shrimp & a mimosa...well 2. All of it was De-Li-Cious!!!!!!! I killed it and ordered the flank steak. It was so tender and whatever they topped it with was slammin. Give this place a try. It's cute and tasty.

Yelp

Yelp
I was in Atlanta for a 2 month gig, and Carroll Street Cafe was my goto place to get away and relax, unwind and eat well without breaking the budget. Everything I tried including the Lox, the Belgian Waffle BreaKfast, Tomato Montrachet and Crabcaked was excellent. Its the closest thing to being in Paris that Ive found in Southeast Atlanta. Cheers to the professional attractive staff. Kip Lee San Diego Ca

Yelp
My girlfriend and I have been coming here for as long as we've been dating. I've also been here several times with family for special occasions. It's a great little neighborhood brunch spot. There's a dinner menu as well and everything we've had from here has been great. Beware that Carroll Street itself is incredibly narrow and that it's also a two way street. It can be tricky finding a parking spot especially if you're not comfortable with parallel parking. Keep that in mind. But there are neighboring side streets that you can usually find a spot on. For brunch, the mimosas and bloody Mary's are good options if that's your thing but the coffee is good and strong too. I usually opt for an omelette or breakfast sando depending on what catches my eye. For dinner I think we've tried the hummus plate and burgers. Also at dinner I had a Sazerac which is a tasty drink to try. Everyone is super friendly regardless if you've got a party of 2 or 10. The staff is good with babies and children, too, which is a nice treat itp if you need that kind of thing. Overall, this is one of our go-to brunch spots. We often poke fun at people standing outside other brunch spots for hours because bang for the buck and prompt seating - those other spots don't stand up to Carroll street.

Yelp
Great local place for brunch with super good/fast service. Food is straight to the point and tastes like if someone's parent made you a home cooked meal. Plain and simple can be pleasant on a Sunday afternoon.

10/10 breakfast, service and vibe was great as well. Split the fried chicken and grits and the Brie honey croissant, and it was perfect.

Yelp
The food here was fine, but really nothing to write home about. I would not bring out of town guests here. But maybe for a comforting meal amongst people that already live here and don't want to go out of their way for anything special? Sure, that's fine. I had the seafood pasta, and the portion was VERY generous. But the pasta tasted like it came out of a box (which it probably did, they never claim to make it in-house). It also had a lot of seafood, but that also lacked gusto. Everything tasted fine, but not enough to make me crave it and come back for more. And really seafood pasta should do that. Also, their drinks were just ok. It's like they crafted some cocktails, but didn't really spend the time to perfect it. They seem to stop all effort at "this is good enough." Parking is not easy. The street is extremely narrow yet bidirectional and it's all street parking.

Yelp
Food was basic bar fare. Was decent for the most part. We ordered from the bar so no table service. Ambiance was dimly lit with mostly natural light.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to try out this unique and welcoming bohemian bistro in cabbage-town. Pictured are the Croissant Sandwich and the Fried Chicken and Grits. Very delicious!

Yelp
Since I live around the corner of this place, I was excited to find a cafe in walking distance for brunch. My excitement disappeared as time there went by. Terrible customer service. I asked the waitress questions about the pork belly dish, and it seemed as if she didn't know either. We ordered a regular cup of coffee, which was brought out with only creamer, no sugar. We waited 35-40 minutes for our food, and the waitress never stopped by to update us. In fact, I noticed a table that came in later than us got their food around the same time as us. When the food came out, both of our grits were cold. My eggs were cold. My companion's waffles were cold. We still ate since we were trying to enjoy our nice Sunday together, but we are definitely not coming back.
