This a fun center with loads of classes that are a great way for people to meet others in their community, especially if you’re older like me so you don’t get out much. I’ve taken some classes and met some friends that I still keep up with. My niece has been a member of the youth summer program they have and each time we speak she’s telling me something new or fun they did. My only issue is with some of the instructors they hire. My niece was in the Wizard of Oz production and we overheard an instructor saying intolerant things about one of the children who donned rainbow gear. I was told by my niece that the instructor was Miss Jordan and the student she was talking about goes by they/them. Regardless of what one believes, spaces like this are meant to be safe for children to express and not be talked down by those teaching them.

Marketplace on the second Saturday of every month; amazing. Great vendors, delicious food, pet friendly and the best opportunity to support small businesses!! Mark your calendars because this cultural center in Carrollwood is doing a great job giving all these vendors the opportunity to show their products to this community. They have plants, garden ornaments, pet food and products, homemade yuminess like chocolate, teas, salsa, fruits n veggies, Mexican awesomeness, food trucks, homemade soaps, honey, organic stuff, Jewelry, cutting boards, and other stuff you will definitely find useful for you or your loved ones. Don't stay home, join everyone at the cultural center in Carrollwood next time they have the fresh Marketplace!!! March 2025 I love shopping from vendors who make their own products. From detergent sheets (I'm changing from my current one), to lip moisturizers and creams like this lady Lorena; she makes a lip balm and it is really great!! They sell home decor, recycled jewelry, pet products, clothes, even food, coffee and have a mini market. I'm always happy to see a lot of people attending and supporting these small businesses. June 2025: Davy Daniels really rocked the stage today at the cultural center's fresh market place. We loved it today, it was packed with great food vendors. Enjoyed fresh cold coconut water and lemonade with ginger and mint, shopped for fresh groceries and my usual coffee cup. We love seeing the doggies all over the place 😍 we can't get enough of the fresh market at the Carrollwood cultural center.

My husband and I took Tai Chi as complete novices but Sasha our instructor made it fun with her cute sense of humor! She listened to our suggestions and incorporated them to help us remember the moves.

I really enjoy belly dancing classes with Sasha. She takes her time to help me learn the moves correctly and as a result, I have more coordination, greater muscle strength, and better balance. This class is just what I needed to help me obtain my fitness goals. Additionally, I love the energy in the room and the energy Sasha brings and have made new friends!

The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a great asset to our community. They have excellent classes and the teachers are wonderful! I am currently taking a Tai-Chi class with Sasha and I would highly recommend it. She is very patient and makes the class a lot of fun. I’m learning a lot and having a great time while getting low impact exercise. Thank you Sasha!

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. There are no assigned seats, which okay, but the tickets said they needed to be printed. So we did, but then the usher said we needed to redeem that at will call. Just seemed their system isn't very modern. It's also not that cheap. The air conditioning definitely wasn't on in the summer and they charge a convenience fee but say the shows are priced "low" to share events with everyone, which seemed disingenuous. If I may wrap in the show to the review, we went to see the music of Burt Bacharach which was scheduled for 2 hours. The jazz renderings were fine, singer and band were competent but not well known, but they only did an hour of Bacharach, about a half hour of random songs, then left early, possibly to beat the traffic. My mom was so disappointed as she listed all the song she hoped to hear and didn't. They definitely had time to cover a lot more of what they promised and just didn't. I did a follow up survey on this and for a form response. Plenty of parking and the ushers who were volunteers seemed nice. The venue could be decent for small shows if the AC is turned on. The show was definitely overpriced for what it was. It would make a decent lounge show while we had drinks. The ticketing system, comfort, and show were all lacking for me.

Yelp
I love this venue! I've seen 2 shows here and sat in the front seat both times. It is such a small theatre with an intimate feel. The prices are affordable too. Highly recommend checking out what they have going on.

Yelp
Excellent center offer a lot free activities. They also have the art lesson too. The are many lesson can be obtained here. It include music, ceramics, language, yoga, acting and more. This center is very lively. We have the west coast swing dance here. It was fun to mess up the step and get it right. The center provide a lesson to add the color to our community such as art classes. Meet your neighbors. This center also host the 2nd Sunday fresh market. It call the north Tampa market. Fresh fruit and vegetables.

Yelp
The North Tampa Market (held on the second Saturday of the month) is fabulous. The location in a park is wonderful, and there is a great variety of vendors offering so many options - fresh fruits and veggies, spices, soaps, plants, tea and beverages, food to enjoy on the spot, art, even a booth from which to rent a chicken coop! Two great additions are the live music on the stage and the children's market. It was so cute to hear the kids do their pitches for their wares. The music is offered from the stage, near which are a number of picnic tables so you can sit down and relax in the shade, perhaps with a bite from one of the many wonderful food booths. Vendor highlights for my group include Torched, a wonderful creme brulee place that offers some really neat options including eggnog, white chocolate raspberry, and my favorite, the double chocolate cinnamon! Cow Paddy Irish Fudge is run by a personable fellow who has a great story about how it got its name - plus some great flavors including orange and pistachio. We also enjoyed Our Two Scents for soaps and Sereniteas and Soothers for teas. Food options covered a lot of bases - grilled cheese, smoothies, Australian pastries (savory - they reminded me of English pasties - with some neat options like spinach and feta or chicken curry), Thai food, Ethopian food, one booth that offered all gluten free/dairy free options, and more! Our group sampled a few, all most enjoyable - grilled cheese from Riddle on the Griddle; the Best Thai for veggie pad thai, dumplings, and Thai tea; and my pick of Island Breeze Soups for Yakitori chicken salad. The salad was really delicious - flavorful chicken over a crunchy slaw with a great sauce. Yum! Parking is available at the cultural center - but it is popular, so it may still be hard to find later on.

Yelp
The North Tampa Market every second Saturday of the month has local produce, food, entertainment and a wide variety of stuff for everyone's tastes. Bring your dog for doggie treats and socializing. Jazz with Jim Berg and friends once a month is always entertaining and worth the Friday evening experience. Arts and crafts, various cultural events and activities always on the agenda. Check the monthly bulletin for the latest and coming events. Become a member and you will not be left out of future coming events.

Yelp
Traditional and contemporary shows, with four galleries and ever changing exhibits noteworthy and emerging artists. Cool receptions usually the first Friday of the month. Great deals on original art, hundreds of paintings and photography is on display.

Yelp
This place has so much to offer. Art classes of all kinds and a really great pottery studio that offers both wheel throwing and hand building classes. The instructors are patient and knowledgeable too.

Yelp
A WONDERFUL cultural center! High quality entertainment and great educational programs - all in one place!!! The staff is super nice and friendly. I LOVE IT! So happy to have a place like this right in Carrollwood, and don't need to drive miles to get this kind of high caliber offerings. And, affordable! Can't ask for more!

Yelp
It was the perfect weather for the North TAMPA Market. It is held behind the cultural center. You can park in the front. There are some great vendors here at this location but it seems that it is repetitive of the market at Wiregrass mall. Also, smaller and on a dirt road vs a paved road. Therefore, if you go there - you may not have come here. There are food and plant vendors and craft vendors.

Yelp
This is my favorite farmers market in the Tampa Bay Area! The nice layout of this market really transforms it from a shopping venue to a chill hangout on a Saturday morning/afternoon. It is in the park near the Carrollwood Cultural Center, which means it's mostly shaded. They usually have a live performer that you can hear throughout the entire market. The children's tables entertain the youngest shoppers. There is plenty of shaded seating to relax and grab a quick bite to eat from one of the restaurant vendors while enjoying the live music.

Yelp
The CCC provides concerts which feature local artists and groups. They also provide local groups with rehearsal facilities which helps us out. The art work that is displayed in the CCC is outstanding. It is just a treat to go there to see the art work! You can find their schedule if events at their website .
