Carruth Cellars Urban Winery & Tasting Room

What a way to end a perfect hike in Solana Beach, sitting outside, sipping our flights of wine and enjoying our prepackaged charcuterie at Carruth Cellars. We were a party of 4 on a Monday. We arrived right at 1:00 PM when they opened. The winery is fairly big, it has indoor and patio seating. The young lady that was manning the counters and the pours was very helpful and very nice. We each ordered the $25 "Let it Flow" wine flights, plus a few prepackaged meats, cheeses, nuts and a baguette. We were able to sit and relax for as long as we wanted. The timing and day was perfect, not busy at all. I would definitely be back when in the area. Atmosphere: a relaxing vibe with both indoor and patio seating. Service: excellent. Wine tasting and Snack: very good.

Finally stopped in this place despite walking past it numerous times. Glad I did. My wife and I were attended to by employee "Nick" who was attentive and pleasant. We tried the Bordeaux wine flight which was quite good and we found the Merlot to be our favorite. Really liked that we could order charcuterie à la carte. Will definitely be back.

A really nice spacious spot for a glass of wine. There is a lot of inside and outside seating. I enjoyed a glass of the pinot noir and the zinfandel. They also offer wine fights for tasting. ***they have happy hour on select wines until 5pm M-TH***

I can’t rave enough about Carruth Cellars and the incredible experience they gave us. My husband and I held our rehearsal dinner there on July 12th, and from start to finish, it was exceptional. As a bride who was stressed out and frazzled, I mixed up the dates in our contract and accidentally booked for the wrong day. When we showed up in a panic, the team at Carruth Cellars didn’t miss a beat. They went out of their way to accommodate us, transforming the space and clearing it out in just one hour. I was floored by their efficiency and grace under pressure. Nick immediately jumped in to help rearrange the tables and clear the area, and Hayley, the event manager, arrived swiftly to make sure everything was in place. Throughout the chaos, their kindness and professionalism were a true comfort to me and my family. Carruth Cellars is already a beautiful venue, but it’s the warm, supportive staff that makes it truly special. Whether you're planning an event or just stopping by for a great glass of wine, Carruth Cellars is a place you’ll want to visit. And if you’re wondering what to try, our personal favorites—and those of our guests—were the Rosé and Sangiovese. They were simply delightful!

A great neighborhood urban winery with lots of indoor and outdoor seating and good music. Dogs and children are welcome and clean environment with decent priced wines that are good. Games and puzzles to enjoy while you drink.

We had a blast on our wine tasting tour here. Great atmosphere.

A+ / Good people here / Wine is ok, but the atmosphere is everything. The folks that work here, the atmosphere are what makes this place great, I'll be honest the wine isn't like in Tuscany.
