Awesome new Indian place in the heart of Old Oakland! I got the chicken tikka masala, rice, okra, paneer, naan and a bottle of water all for $12.99 (lunch special) and it was delicious. Would recommended checking this spot out!

What a wonderful addition to our beautiful Old Oakland neighborhood! Small deli /store style express Indian food at affordable prices options at $10-15 for 2 entrees, rice and naan. They have about 3-4 meat options and 3-4 veggie options at all times. It’s a family business and the owners are warm and kind. There are a few tables outside.

pretty good selection of Indian groceries! Very grateful to have a spot like this close by to get the essentials without having to go all the way to Berkeley or Alameda. Haven't tried the food yet but definitely would like to

Amazing!!! I haven't felt this way about a restaurant in awhile. Family run joint with a little store inside that has snacks, candy and drinks, the food is set up carry out style so no wait and Infront of you to choose! The family is so friendly and even explained how they don't use any food coloring or bad ingredients. I highly recommend trying the lamb and chicken Tikka meat box combo. Good clean home cooking with little oil. You can really feel how bad food effects you hours later and this is not that.

My very first time trying this place out. Ordered the goat meat # 3 box. The goat meat is not tender. They did not braise the meat long enough. The flavor is way below average. If you want to pay $15 plus, just for lots and lots of rice and very very very very small portion of goat meat, a large portion of bone, and small portion of vegetables this spot is for you. Very sheisty. The naan is below average. I even asked for napkins, they say they ran out. The owner or the person behind the counter stated, “go to the other restaurants or store to get napkins.” This place is not worth the trip. You can get a better meal and portions at other establishments.

WOW, I had the Meat box. I got the Curry Goat with garbanzo (channa) beans as my Veggie and rice. It was all delicious and reasonably priced even with adding a tip. It was under $20. The store also has snacks and other spices to purchase. I'm excited to try the lamb or the chicken next.

I’ve gotten lunch from this place a couple times and have always enjoyed the food and service. The lunch special is good value.

The food was cold, portion was small and the rice was not fresh, he literally stuck my plate in the microwave and it was still cold!! I should've known, the place was empty!
