Update (May 2025):
Scott contacted me directly after reading my comment and reviewing my documents shortly after and took full responsibility for the issues I experienced. I was surprised and appreciative of his professionalism—he offered a sincere apology and committed to recovering some of the unexpected charges on my final bill. He was respectful and understanding throughout our conversation, and I value his willingness to make things right.
I initially left a one-star review a few weeks ago, but I’m updating it now in recognition of Scott’s accountability, respectful approach, and professionalism.
Original Review (Summary):
I initially chose this business based on strong reviews and was reassured that there would be no additional charges. However, after being redirected from their Sechelt location to Pender Harbour—making three separate trips from Gibsons and missing work in the process—the final bill came to more than double the original estimate.
Throughout the process, I was not informed of additional costs, nor was there a clear explanation for the price increase. I had been told I wouldn’t be charged extra due to the delays and the loaner vehicle I was provided for a day. Unfortunately, those assurances were not reflected in the final invoice, which came as a surprise.
That said, I do appreciate the recent follow-up and Scott’s efforts to address the situation. This experience was frustrating, but I respect that he ultimately took accountability.
