Wow! A pour over locally roasted coffee in the airport. Light years better than Star-sucks. Def stop here if you enjoy coffee and have a minute. They other options as well. Traditional espresso drinks and light food options.

I was lucky to have a gate next to Cartel Roasting on a recent flight out of Phoenix. I bought a fresh bag of coffee beans, Blend Forty-Eight, a delightfully smooth medium Colombian roast, and was pleasantly surprised to receive a free drip coffee with it. I enjoyed the drip coffee and have been savoring the coffee I bought since I arrived home. I had a bit of a wait for my flight, so I bought a cappuccino shortly before I boarded the plane. While more of a small, strong latte than a true cappuccino, it was exactly what I was looking for- potent, bold, but still smooth. This is exactly the kind of coffee shop I love visiting at an airport. The coffee was delicious, and what better souvenir to bring home than a bag of freshly roasted coffee to enjoy the following week? I'll definitely stop by again at a Cartel Roasting location the next time I find myself in Phoenix.

This is probably one of the cutest airport coffee shops I’ve seen yet- located in the Phoenix airport. After a super early morning flight caffeine was much needed, and Cartel Roasting was a whole vibe. I got some kind of honey cinnamon latte based on the baristas recommendation and it was exactly what was needed to revive me. Also got a breakfast burrito that took a few minutes to be made so it was hot, fresh and delicious. For being a coffee shop in the airport they really put effort into the look and aesthetic of this and I loved every bit of it!

Best burrito 🌯, this was my first time at this restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarian food. The burrito was very warm to the last bite and delicious.

At first I just came here because I didn't want CHAIN_COFFEE and thought I'd give it a shot. But dang, got one of the better mochas I've had! Service was fast and friendly (did you see the Starbucks line? not like that), the cup is extra insulating too! So even while waiting 15 minutes or whatever for my partner to get Starbucks, my drink was still warm. I also grabbed a poblano burrito. It took a bit longer than the coffee but still just 5 minutes or so after ordering. No meat, but delicious! Prices overall a bit high, but for airport+3rd wave coffee, very reasonable. Worth the walk over to gate C13. I will definitely look forward to it next time I'm in PHX :)

This is by far the best coffee in Phoenix. If you ask, you can get your espresso in a glass rather than a paper cup. I make it a point to stop in when my travels include the Phoenix airport.

Run of the mill cafe at Phoenix airport. Food: Matcha Oatmilk Latte was prepared well. Also serves light snacks and pastries. Ambiance: Airport gate hangout Value: Prices were high for the quality of food and service. Expected for airport.

Walked across the airport to get the potato burrito because it was one of the few things I could eat. Said it would take 10 min but that was just enough time to make it back to my gate. When I bit into it, it was the egg burrito which I cannot eat because I’m allergic to egg and dairy. Didn’t have time to make it back to try and get the right order so was out the money and the food. Giving an extra star just because they have the option of the potato burrito.
