Yelp
This was not a great experience!
I want to start by saying that I try to support local when I can! I'm from out of town but know many people in Anderson and I think a lot of them can agree that the town is mostly consumed by chain fast food restaurants.
I was really in the mood for breakfast food, and I was told about this place by a local friend of mine
I just wanna say the service and staff was very friendly, and they were very pleasant and very personal.
I ordered their biscuits and gravy with eggs which on their menu is listed for $9.00. Personally, I kind of thought that was a lot for nominee than what it said, but compared to some of the other items on the menu I thought it was just because of how big the portions were. I even specifically asked the cashier how big they are and she told me they're huge two piece biscuits that are cut in half made fresh every morning.
To my surprise, when I got home, it look like two tiny biscuits that were burnt with a gravy that had way way too much pepper and then tiny side order of cold eggs
I just called and let them know that whoever made the biscuits that they were burnt so unfortunately I really didn't get to enjoy the biscuits and gravy because the biscuits were burnt and there was so much pepper. I couldn't stand the gravy so I ended up paying $9 dollars for a side of cold eggs. When I spoke to the lady on the phone, she just said I'm sorry I'll let them know. There's nothing else I can do.
If I'm being completely honest, this food tastes like someone that's NEVER cooked a day in their life. I hope that they run across this and see this as constructive criticism, and not just a bitchy customer.
