Excellent car buying experience. Kamel Khamash and his team treated myself and family with the upmost respect. They actually had the car i inquired about in stock as promised. I must say we were pleasantly surprised of all the top notch high end cars on the lot. There are definetely no clunkers being sold here. They made my deal happen and called many banks to get my best rate. Look for a car here first before purchasing a car anywhere else. It is worth the trip no matter where you are coming from. 5 all the way.

It will be almost a year and I'm still having issues with the car that I bought from them. Back and forth for repairs at least 7 times. Thank God for warranty. All I can do is kick myself for signing the contract.. Listen learn going forward. Anyway, Buyers please do your research about the company and the car you're able to buy. Whatever you do have the car dealer print out the contract and take it home over night. Do not let them scare or bully you into signing right then. After you have fully read the contract and check the car inside/outside and top to bottom. Go onto YouTube and look up reviews about your year, make, and mode of the car you want to invest years of payments. Then make sure to have in writing on the contract that you have the dealers warranty attached for 60-90days vs the mileage. Also make sure to take a picture of the front and back of the paper that you see on the car window that has all the car descriptions. Because the dealers sometimes forget to give it to you at time of purchase and they should by law. Have them allow you to have the car diagnose by a professional it's your right. It would be wise for you to pay to have the car diagnose by the car maker before buying the vehicle. Also do not use the car dealership bank their Interest rates are crazy. So do your own credit check before shopping for anything. Buy your own extended warranty from a company of your choice. Don't let them lie and tell you anything different. The salesperson/dealership gets a kick back when you purchase anything with them instead of finding these extra things on your own... I've given you a clear cut way to not get play...

BUYER BEWARE!! They will not give you an out the door price over the phone unless a manager takes over the phone call. Just a quick breakdown of what they say it costs versus what it actually costs after talking to Sabrina over the phone. They want to move "volume" so everything is "negotiable" they say. $285 profit is what she said she would make so no negotiation possible unless the dealership wants to lose money.

Recently bought this 2017 q50 Signature edition. Was helped by Luis, great customer service, well spoken, and quick and efficient responses.They had a great variety of cars from every day drivers to top end sport cars.Would purchase from again in future.

Just an update: Delaney v. Cartopia (ARB0131-24)(22650500.OCP) I have reached out to the attorney representing Cartopia to resolve this Consumer Fraud case I filed in April 2024, 1 year after I purchased the car form them. They do not care and plan to wait until the case comes up for Arbitration. The division is so backlogged that Cartopia can hold me hostage to this car for a long time to come! Because of the undisclosed EXOGLOSS protection package for $3890 that they added to the price of the car without disclosing it to me or providing me with the copy of the RETAIL SALES ORDER that would have identified the difference of $3890.00. I had to fight to get the document and then it was too late to cancel it! I am unable to get out from under this car and it needs repairs! I am sharing this update because no one deserves to be treated the way I and so many other unsuspecting consumers have. This is devastating to me. I am posting about my experience everywhere and did get a little response from their attorney. He sent me an email - Cease and Desist from posting negatively about their client. HAHAHALOLOL! Every consumer has the right to post about their negative buying experience of any kind. I am posting facts only and I have no plans to Cease and Desist until there is a favorable resolution, SOON. I am in the 3rd year of this conflict and I only intend to get louder! Again, I urge anyone considering a purchase of a used car from Cartopia to do their research. Go to NJ.gov and research Consent Orders. You need to navigate around the pages but you will find it. Most of the provisions of the Consumer Fraud act has been violated by Cartopia on my sale alone! We work very hard for our money and buying a vehicle, especially a used vehicle, is a big deal! You can walk into a liar's den like Cartopia! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM CARTOPIA, NO. PLAINFIELD.

Working with this dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. Deciphering through all the lying has been the most exhausting process. Unfortunately, the issues are still not resolved and there's really not an end in sight. I'll try to numerate some of the lies, but there's really no way I could be comprehensive. - I asked Adam and Eli to disclose all issues with the van because we are foster parents and could not travel to see the vehicle in person. They both lied about the condition of the vehicle even when asked about specific concerns. Nobody disclosed that there was only one key, scratches all over the exterior of the vehicle, BLOOD in the interior of the vehicle, NO AIR CONDITIONING, and the headrests were missing. - Adam told me if I skipped work to finalize purchase by midnight, he would have the van on a delivery truck by the next morning. This was a lie. The van arrived days after promised and only after my wife and I BEGGING for a resolution, AND it arrived at THREE IN THE MORNING (we were given the delivery window of 11am - 1 pm the day before!) waking up everyone in our neighborhood. We couldn't see all the issues in the vehicle and were trying to ask the delivery driver questions, but he did not speak English and he could not understand a word we were saying. - Eli told me that the extra 10k in fees were for non negotiable government fees. When I found out that they were not, in fact, government fees he told me they were for "certifying that the car passed their 170 point inspection". Of course, when we received the car covered in scratches, missing most of the headrests, and having had ALL the duct work for the air conditioning REMOVED, none of those issues were covered by the 170 point inspection that they charged us thousands of dollars for, and the dealership will not honor their warranty. - Eli told me he would issue a 45 day temporary tag to account for us buying the van to take on a vacation in 26 days. When it arrived with a 30 day tag Jessica told me "45 day temporary tags are illegal." - Sabrine told me that she had already sent out the paper work to apply for the tags. Turns out 3 weeks later when the tags were almost expired and we were days away from the vacation we bought the van for she had STILL not sent out the paper work at all. - Mauricio told me that he would increase the price he was offering for a delivery driver by 100$ an hour until they hired someone to deliver the vehicle since Adam and Eli had already lied to us and the van was already later than they both promised. When the delivery arrived, their invoice showed that Mauricio paid the exact delivery price I was originally quoted, even though he lied and told me that he had been raising the price hourly for days. - Jessica said she had never heard of us 3 weeks after the purchase and 3 weeks after we were told that the tags had been applied for. Apparently Jessica is the only one who can apply for tags and she had "never heard of me." - Mauricio told me he would give me a letter stating that the tags have been applied for but they are 'delayed' so that we could still use the van but have proof that we were waiting for tags. He has yet to send that letter and keeps telling me he will do that "tomorrow". If I could go back I would not have chosen to intertwine my life with this dealership. I hope my review saves some of you the trouble. I'm thankful the Better Business Bureau is getting involved to hopefully spare them from continuing to prey on people in desperate situations.

Avoid Cartopia Auto Sales - Fraudulent Sales and Zero Accountability I'm writing this review to warn others before doing business with Cartopia Auto Sales. I purchased a vehicle that was advertised and sold to me as an all-wheel drive--a key feature I specifically needed. However, after my mechanic inspected it, I discovered it was only a two-wheel drive. This was not only misleading, but fraudulent, as the contract stated otherwise. I've since had to spend a significant amount of money to correct the issue and bring the vehicle up to the standard I was promised. I've reached out to Cartopia numerous times, but there has been no accountability. The manager is supposedly never available, there is no direct number or email for him, and I was only given a generic email with no follow-up. They also claimed the car was inspected by an "Infiniti Master Mechanic," which a trusted and reputable mechanic later said was highly unlikely, as there were clear issues that should have been disclosed before the sale. The fact that they hid this information is not only unethical--it's fraudulent. Once Cartopia Auto Sales gets your money, that's where the customer service ends. Please be cautious. I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for a vehicle. Don't fall victim to the same scam I did.

From reading the reviews, I was hesitant of purchasing a car from there but attempted to anyways. Typical sales practices of adding an adjusted markup fee of $5K if you are paying cash rather than using their financing company. The vehicle had a faulty fuel gauge and 2 other issues that I was concerned about. Additional fees for vin etching, security system, etc. and try to add a warranty so the online advertised price ends up being $8-9K more than what the vehicle costs.

From the second, I walked into the door to the second. I left with a new vehicle I might add! The staff was unbelievably helpful. They made the process of treating in my old car and getting into a new one seamless! Every person there seem to be in an upbeat mood the place has a vibe. Not to mention an unbelievable selection of vehicles if you're in the market for a new car a truck Cartopia 46 is a place I recommend.

Bought a car here, and initially this was a very painless and streamlined experience. Car was spotless and though expensive it felt somewhat competitively priced (still expensive though and financed at the height of inflation in summer of 2023 didn't help). Shortly after buying, we discovered an oil leak. This was out of their guarantee period so we're on the hook for multiple subsequnt repairs. Just a year after buying the car, the engine seizes. This prompts us to really look back through our documents. They will sell you junk limited warranties and build in plenty of inflated fees. The financing was severely increased as a result. Wether they knew about the mechanical problems with this car may not be proveable at this point, but either way we were made to belive we made out with a great car when in reality it was a slowly dripping time bomb. Consider another dealer who is more transparent, or do your research (i.e. search Vehicle X recall, vehicle Y failures), which is probably good advice anywhere but especially applies here.

Can't give it zero stars but they deserves it. I bought a vehicle from "Cartopia"several months ago and it was the worst buying experience of my life. I am 56 yo and bought several houses and dozens of cars in my time. The manager Robert is a sc.. bag. First off one of the wheels and the side wall on the tire had a gash in it. Told me it was fine. I demanded a new tire so he reluctantly said ok. Took it to the tire shop and turned the tire inside out. Put the huge gash on the inside so you couldn't see it unless you got under the vehicle. Then proceeded to tell me the shop he uses all the time did that on their own without his knowledge. Yeah I don't think so. Next thing was the crack in the windshield that was covered with the car information sheet, so it wasn't noticed on test drive. He refused to change the glass but he said he would have glass repair come out and fill it with resin. Looked no different so I doubt that was done. Oh yeah, then after the tire was fixed it came back missing a lug nut. I asked where the lug nut was, and he told me they had to cut it off because it had the key lock and they didn't have the key. Ok no problem fix it right, but no. I had to force him to put on a lug nut. I can't believe we're talking about a lug nut. Then he proceeded to put on a lug nut from a different car, looked totally different (color, size). You can't make this up. So then after blowing my lid he finally put new keyed lug nuts on. Now I must add, this wasn't a $10,000 car. I paid well over $70,000 yes seventy thousand dollars. I could go on but I believe I made my point. In hind sight I should have never taken the truck but it was the only one of its kind in the color and options I was looking for and I desperately needed a vehic Please learn from me. These people are out to make a quick buck and don't care about you or the safety of your family. Hope this helps their next victim.

My experience with Chris was amazing!!! He made what would have been a very frustrating experience an extremely pleasant and smooth transition from the the introduction to the end of the sale. He worked with me on every detail that I felt was important and stayed in constant communication throughout this process. I would definitely recommend!!!

I spoke to the sale person before making a trip that is about 3 hours away from Albany. The mini cooper countryman listed for sale was $18,900 and I have messaged them before making the drive. I have advised the sale person that I can do $19,500 out the door, he stated that it is not far from what they are asking. I got there and the price with doc, tax, and other things that was added $26,000. One of the fees in particular was for them to make the car safe to sale which was around $3,000. I told them why are you charging me for something that they should be doing anyway. And don't forget the documents fees $1,000 was added they said it was by law but I was just at another dealership they remove that with ease which they did tried to charge $400 and not $1,000. Just to verify that the conversation took place I attached images of the text. Please DO NOT try to make any attempt with them. They should be close.

unfortunately we purchased a car form Cartopia 46 2 the Elmwood location.We have been in contact with the dealership ever since . the car literally in 3 days had multiple big problems . 1. engine light on car began shaking. . We drove it immediately to our local Mercedes Benz dealer, they were kind enough to give us a loaner, based on the fact it was not safe to drive. the first bill we received was $3,O34.20. one of the minor problems the wrong size tires were on the car, way too small for the CAR. The second bill was $ 1500.00 The car is back there again, the windshield is leaking. i dont have the total cost yet i'll keep you posted. Ive sent all the bills to Cartopia, still no response. i was told on the phone after many calls that they would be FAIR ! They would not cover the labor but would help out with our expenses. Of course now ive read the reviews, too late. Better Business gives them a" D MINUS" This has been a 'TOTAL NIGHTMARE" I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH ANY NEW INFORMATION UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED. STAY TUNED!!

This was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had, and I could NEVER have even dreamt up such a bad experience in my wildest imagination. I breathed a sigh of relief once we HAD the car because I assumed it would be over. But NO. This is STILL a daily hassle and there is no end in sight. Here's the quick summary if you do not want to read in detail the nightmare working with this dealership has been and continues to be: -They will add significant amount of money to the sale price in "fees" that are completely unique to this dealership (this is my fourth used car purchase at a dealership and I have never seen any charges like this) -handle EVERYTHING in writing. If they tell you anything in person or on the phone have them write it down and sign it. Adam, Eli, Sabrine, Mauricio and Jessica all directly and explicitly lied to us about the van, the purchase price, the fees, the delivery, the tags, EVERYTHING. -do NOT finance through them. Secure independent financing! If you finance through them you are relying on them to do paperwork for the license plate which they WILL NOT DO. Your temporary tag will expire and you will have an expensive van you can not drive! -they will stop doing anything for you the second they have your money, so get everything you could anticipate needing BEFORE money changes hands - check EVERY part of the car over. The air conditioner doesn't blow out in the back at all. It makes noise so I thought it was fine. But it was oppressively hot and we had a child pass out. Turns out ALL THE DUCT WORK HAD BEEN REMOVED FROM THE CEILING -do NOT utilize their delivery service. Just go get the car. Now for the horrific details for those interested in reading the long version: If you like the price of the vehicle you are looking at, it's because they will add about 10,000$ in fees beyond the price they promise you. When I asked what these fees were for they said they were government fees and they had no choice because of government regulations. When i asked for itemization of the fees only $250 of the thousandssss of dollars of fees actually had anything to do with the government. They will charge you a fee for purchasing, a fee for providing documentation, a fee for cleaning the van (even though it was already clean when they listed it at the list price), replacing the brakes (even though they ALREADY replaced the brakes BEFORE they listed it at the list price), certification (guaranteeing the car passed their inspection???? We pay you for you to guarantee you didn't lie to us?? WHAT?) We ended up paying 10k over what the car was LISTED AS on the website and they acted like we were really getting a steal. We should have NEVER made this purchase. In fact we WEREN'T going to, as we had found one that was closer to us and the dealership wasn't adding ridiculous fees and had better reviews. BUT, we were in a DESPERATE situation as our adopted son had a full blooded newborn sister enter foster care addicted to extensive amounts of drugs and we took emergency placement of her even though we did not have enough seats in our car. We had to buy a bigger van FAST so they would discharge her from the hospital to us and not put her in another foster home separated from her brother. The dealership knew this and they told us (in order to trick us into buying their van instead of the one we had found in Indiana) that they could guarantee delivery to our door the next day. At this point we were working with Adam specifically. So we forked out more money because Adam preyed on our desperation and we trusted him. My husband spent ALL day finalizing this purchase over the phone. Adam said if we got all the money to them by midnight they would put the van on a flatbed for us the next morning. So he spent all day and evening, skipped work, and jumped through every hoop they asked him to. The next morning we didn't receive a phone call saying that our van was on the way so we called to check on it. They acted completely oblivious to anyone ever saying our car would be delivered AT ALL! Then said it definitely wouldn't be today because they have to look for a driver to hire. Trying to figure this out, we kept calling, they kept saying they would call us back, and they never would call us back. Then they completely stopped answering our calls and responding all together. My husband found a plane ticket for me to fly out and pick up the van and drive it home that night, but we were trying to call to make sure the van was still there and I could get it. We did finally get through but Eli said to give him a few minutes to call me back because he was making a sale. I said "this is very important, can you please just talk to me for a minute?" Eli said absolutely not. I said "I don't believe that you will call me back and I'm not going to be able to get through on the phone because your dealership closes in 15 minutes." Eli swore he would call me back. He did not. The dealership closed and we co

All the years I've been buying vehicles I've never went to a dealership and offered to pay the retail advertised price, plus tax, title, registration fees, and dealer doc fees and still been asked to pay an additional $4000. Beware of the numbers game they play here. They wanted $25,000+ for a car they had advertised for $17,900.

Just got home from purchasing my new ride, a beautiful 2019 Camaro and I was slightly skeptical looking at the reviews but when I went in there, everyone was professional and inviting, the place was clean and none of the cars looked "rotted" like one review said. The whole process was really easy. The manager Mauricio made sure I got a good deal and Miguel the salesman I worked with was extremely professional and even offered to grab some coffee and donuts while I waited for the car to be washed. I long story short, the place is great, the people are professional, and the few one stars are completely undeserved

Highly recommend to anybody looking to purchase. A car. they made you feel like family and made buying a car way less scary.

I bought my first car last weekend, and Cartopia made the process as easy as possible. I visited a number of different used car dealerships, and had, frankly, terrible experiences with the others. I was jerked around, bait-and-switched, told that certain advertised prices were only available if I financed, and given every other run-around in the game. Then I got to Cartopia, where I was welcomed in, handed the keys to the car I was interested in (which was perfectly cleaned and maintained - honestly, it looked like a new car), and offered a test drive within five minutes of arriving. When I came back and expressed an interest in buying, Cartopia held true to the advertised price, even though I was paying in cash. Yes, there were hidden fees - not only tax and dealer fees, but also an expensive documentation fee, and a $2000 inspection fee that I still don't totally understand. But the car was so well-priced that even with those added costs, I still paid a very fair price, at or below market value. And, again, the car was spotless, inside and out, so I'm assuming most of that went to repairs or maintenance, which was done well. Most importantly, there were no hard-sell tactics, and I never felt pressured to make a purchase I wasn't comfortable with. All of this is to say: if you see an Autotrader or Cars.com listing for Cartopia, know what you're getting into, and expect to pay an extra couple thousand dollars over the list price, but you can feel comfortable that you're still getting a fair deal from decent folks.

6-10-20 HORRIBLE !! "salesman" Omar. A couple days ago a family member had a deal that Omar wrote on a piece of paper, "out the door" price. Omar refused to take a down payment to hold the car until loan papers arrived. What dealership does that ? Omar calls and claims there is a person from NY who wants to come see the car. Believe it or not. Family member went back in tonight to close the deal. Omar totally went back on the deal saying he had to add $6000 to price because be messed up and "didn't know where his head was that day". I believe that when he saw how much the family member could go up to with his loan (coincidence it was $6000 from the original agreement?) is when he upped the car price. This is how used car salesmen get a bad name. He is the epitome of a "used car salesman" Go there if you want but BUYER BEWARE !!!!

Absolute scam. Their pricing is very aggressive, which looks great on paper. Notice on their website that they have a "PDI" fee, though. This fee is not brought up, if you ask for a structure of their fees, they will mention it, but they won't give you the amount. I was coming from 30 miles away, so I called them, they actually stated I could get this car for less than $10k out the door -- still very high for me, but based on what I calculated, it should have been close to $9k. The car I went to look at was sitting on their lot for over TWO MONTHS and was advertised for $8k. Took it for a test drive, came back and sat down, told them I was interested. They came back with a $1500 PDI fee on the car, representing an 18.75% price markup. They claimed it was for them to bring the car up to standards because they don't have a service department. They don't even reference what PDI means. You'll have to ask them for that definition. I looked at this car, and it had the following done to it: 4 new 15" tires (for reference, 15" tires cost about $60/tire) New set of Front Brakes Even if we go by standard labor rates, 4 new installed tires should be no more than $400, and new front brakes should be no more than $200. $600 of work. They are charging $1500 for this. When you get to the dealer, they'll give you a breakdown, and the PDI is something they refer to as a "pre-delivery inspection fee".... In short, its a 15-22% markup so that they can "bring the car up to factory standards"..... e.g. a nice exorbitant fee for them to make a few extra $ on the sale of the car Absolutely would not do business with a place like this.

Let me start off by saying the cheapest price on a car is not always the best deal, especially on pre-owned cars. That being said, we got a very fair price and there's huge value in a dealership making things right when a customer has a problem. We had a problem with a car we purchased and Omar at this dealership went way above what he was required to do. To me that means he is honest and really cares about his customers and the long term of this dealership, not just that day's profit. I m extremely happy that we bought this car from Cartopia! It won't be the last and I will recommend Cartopia and Omar to my friends without hesitation!

They didn't honor truecar certificate even though the car was listed there. The price with tax and registration is $41000,,,,,38,000 without taxes. What they call PDI (pre delivery inspection) is the cost of what was broken and what they had to fix in order to pass the inspection. Customer gets burdened with pre sale repairs? Give me a brake.

I went to so many dealers before stepping into Cartopia & this one is hands down God sent. Great people, great cars, great prices! Omar, Kamel, Tarek, & Zaid were all amazing people to work with!!!! They truly made the biggest difference in finding the perfect vehicle & deal for me! Not only were they real with me, but they were also considerate, & informative. They do not pressure you, or rush you into any decision. My family members all now want to visit this location not only for vehicles but also because of the way they make you feel appreciated! Very very disappointing for CarTopia. I bought one 2019 kia optima in Jan 6th. The OTD price we set is $20,474 but in the contract it shows the price is tax excluded, which means I need to pay more for the tax. They tricked me to sign the contract and told me this is OTD which is definitely not the truth.

Guy will talk you in circles and not a man of his or employees word. Make sure everything is in writing. Will never go again or recommend

Stay away!! Purchased a car on a Saturday and agreed to pick it up on Monday after they made a minor repair. Got there for my appointment and they made me wait around for 2 1/2 hours until 5 minute before they closed. Delivered the car with 4 old, rusty, mismatched tires that weren't on the car on Saturday when I agreed to buy it -- those tires were shiny, MATCHING, and new. My salesman became rude and argumentative when I inquired about it, and ultimately walked away from me when I didn't buy his line of b.s. Took a week to finally get my deposit back. These guys are extremely shady. Beware!

I went in 3 weeks ago to purchase a 2016 BMW M4. Sabrine and Omar were the two associates I dealt with. They were kind in the beginning and itching to make the sale. Omar ran some numbers and gave me an estimate. The next day, to my surprise, they added a $2900+ "pre-delivery inspection fee" out of nowhere to the total cost of the car. This charge was for an inspection that they do on every car. Before finalizing the paperwork, I asked them to remove some bumper stickers and a hood sticker that was on the car. They said they can have their detail shop do it but then said that I would have to try to remove them myself or have a detail shop do it. Taking delivery of the car without having the stickers removed was a mistake. The stickers that were put on this car were so cheap that it was impossible to get them off as they would just break into small pieces when you tried to take them off. I brought the car to three well-known detail shops and no one was able to take them off easily. I had to buy this tool called a 3m rubber eraser, attach it to a drill, risk messing up my clean coat, just to get these stupid stickers off. The shops tried using a heat gun, steamer, goo gone, but nothing would work. After paying almost $6k+ over MSRP due to the car "pre-delivery inspection fees" + the aftermarket warranty, I looked into the warranty further and decided that I wanted to cancel it because I was planning on modifying the car. Also, the warranty doesn't even include the majority of the additional parts that come on supercharged or turbocharged cars. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY IF YOU ARE GETTING A CAR WITH A SUPERCHARGER OR TURBOCHARGER. It doesn't even cover a basic part such as an intercooler which my previous aftermarket warranty company ProGuard, did. I reached out to Sabrine a couple of days after purchasing the car to cancel the warranty and was told she would have to speak with Omar to cancel the warranty. Not hearing back from her, I followed up the next day and got a generic response. I followed up almost every day since then and she just kept giving me the run-around. The last time I spoke with her yesterday, she said the warranty was canceled which was untrue. I contacted the warranty company today to double-check and they said they have no records of any cancelations. Today, I am sitting at their "Service Center'' which is Autopia in Union NJ. A couple of days ago, I received a check engine light on my "inspected" car, that STILL HAS TEMP TAGS! After reading the codes on the check engine light, I was directed by my mechanic to take a look at the coolant level of the top-mounted intercooler. To my surprise, the reservoir was empty. Since it's a closed-looped cooling system, there shouldn't ever be a need to add coolant to this reservoir. After going on a bunch of BMW forums, this seems to be a common issue with the S55 motor that was in my car. The coolant from the intercooler can leak into the engine, which can cause a possible hydrolock of the motor. I contacted Sabrine right away. She directed me to call someone on their cell phone, who happens to be the "Service Manager''. The Service Manager told me to bring it to the Autopia Service Center. This Service Center was almost an hour away from where I live and I had to take a half day at work because of this. The Service Manager is not here and could only be reached by phone. I told the mechanics (who have been super helpful and knowledgeable which was the only positive part about this whole experience) that I recently had a shop install cold air intake and downpipes before they started inspecting the coolant leak. It turns out, the intercooler is busted from the inside and needs to be replaced as suspected. Sabrine and the service manager refused to pay for the part and labor on a car that I purchased from them, only 3 weeks ago. (Did I mention that I have been at the service center for almost 3 hours already? They didn't even offer me a place to sit. I was standing outside in the sun for almost 3 hours.) In addition, they're not sticking with their powertrain and drivetrain warranty because the car was "modified". They tried to convince me that a BMW dealership would also void a warranty on a brand new car if I had done the same mods to them, which is completely false! Dealerships are not legally allowed to void warranties due to simple aftermarket bolt-on parts that are designed to make the car run smoother. Now I am out of a car for a couple of days and will be paying out of pocket almost $1500 for a new intercooler, coolant, and an oil change to ensure all of the coolant leaking into the motor has been removed. My mechanic also pointed out that the tires are directional and were mounted backward on all sides of the car. This means they have been wearing unevenly and were recommended to purchase new tires. Another $1200+. Why didn't the $2900+ inspection catch a simple issue like this? They are quick to blame others instead of taking responsibility

Do not trust Cartopia! They are dishonest and deceptive. Less than a week after purchasing my car, I had to pay for almost $1,000 in damages! They are unwilling to help in any way and have spoken to me in a rude and demeaning manner. Do NOT buy a car here.

I recently bought a S550 Mercedes from this dealership which I am very happy with. However my experience with the car salesmen Omar was not pleasant at all. Anyone reading this who is wishing to buy a car from here do so but please use any other salesmen other then Omar... He is a big Liar!

If you like the price of a car online, add 1500-2000 to that. That's the actual price, BEFORE taking into consideration taxes, doc fees etc. They charge outrageous fees for "preparation" and will not negotiate these with you. Cartopia lost my business to another dealership who does not pass these costs on to the customer, especially at a ridiculous mark up for the "prep" they did.

I had a great experience with this company and the sales staff especially Al. Great knowledge, patience and very thorough. I highly recommend them.

This place is awesome! Omar helped get me the car I wanted without denting my wallet, no hassles or runarounds. Made my life very convenient and simplified ! This place is great.

Be very careful at this dealership, after further review of my contract to my disbelief the "warranty" that was offered to me was actually a 2,890 dealership fee which covers me for 60 days for half the price of repairs on the car. Absolute rip off that was never disclosed to me during the signing of the paperwork. When confronted with this they said it's because they offer "competitive pricing" and add it to every car, but it's not exactly competitive when you add almost three grand to the price of the car you are giving. We are awaiting a discussion with the general manager to discuss this further but unless this issue gets resolved my review will continue to be one star.

Has got to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Was looking for a TrackHawk. Ran financing and got a 4% interest rate with a well above 800 credit score. Asked to run numbers with an extra 20k deposit and was told there was a mistake and the interest rate was actually 6.4%. Car is on website for 91900, was told that was a mistake as well...(even though it is still on at that price. Said the correct price is 93900.00. I feel bad for the people who they are actually able to scam. Worse place in the automobile industry to purchase from. Stay clear from this place.

Cartopia's advertised price is not accurate. They pack on a used exterior/interior protection warranty for $3890. That's a rip off. Most Teflon packages are $1000 for both inside and out.

Terrible dealership experience. First when I saw the car online, I called and spoke with a manager about the car who informed me the car I was looking at was in excellent condition. When I started texting back and forth with the gentlemen I asked for hi -res photos of the car so I wouldn't have to drive an hour for a car that wasn't in the best shape. I asked about the rim that appeared to be curb rashed and he assured me it was the only one like that. When I ended up seeing the car all 4 rims had excessive curb rash and there were 3 lug nut covers missing. Also the front Audi emblem was missing and the rear emblem looked like someone had taken a screwdriver to it (trying to take it off) but was unsuccessful. I still bought the car because and my salesman agreed to buy me a emblem replacement but the first month I had the car it was missing the front emblem (more on this at the end). It's quite embarrassing to have paid almost 40k for a car that's missing the front emblem. When buying the car I paid asking price and was told that the car had full service done to it which I don't believe to be true. Just a few miles from the dealership the car had a check engine light go off saying I needed to add oil and to head to the closest dealership. I ended up putting 2 gallons of oil in to get the light off. I noticed when they sold me the car it had a NJ inspection which expired 2019 which wasn't a big deal since I planned to register the car in Florida. Turns out that the front windshield was tinted (it makes it difficult to drive at night) and the previous owner applies the tint after the inspection so the expired inspection sticker is sandwiched between the ring and the glass making it difficult to remove. Cartopia has you sign a paper that any car you buy might be modified so there's nothing that can be done about this. Also when I took delivery of the car i noticed a stripped bolt that someone had placed in the cup holder (wasn't there during test ride) and didn't think much of it at the time. Later I found out that it came from whoever put on my temp tag, they broke the nut that holds it in place on the back and my temp tag was hanging on by one screw. Also when cleaning the car out it looks like their detail shop dumped half a bottle of liquid cherry air freshener under the passenger floor mat and I had to shampoo it out. Another thing which concerns me is that they only gave me one key to the car although the cars computer shows that 3 other keys are registered to it. The icing on the cake was when my temp tag expired and they refused to help me with a solution to get to work even though they hadn't gotten my permanent tags yet. I bought the car on Dec 26, they turned in paperwork for the registration Jan 9, and then my tag expired Jan 24th. They told me they would give me a paper explaining the situation so I would have something to show the police if they questioned me. After they promised this they never delivered it even after me calling them everyday. I finally got my tags (and the emblem which had the tabs broken because they shoved it in a flat envelope with the tag) on 31 January. I ended up a whole work week without the car. During this whole ordeal I called them multiple times and they always said they were busy but would call me back but never did. The would always promise to do things that they never did. In the end i would advise you to not go there expecting good service because your not going to get it. I am happy with the car I bought but not the ordeal I went through to get it. I didn't plan on writing a review (frankly I don't have the time) but I feel like potential customers should know what I went through and so that when they promise you they will take care of you, you will know it's BS. They promised me the same thing but didn't deliver. Not sure how these people can sleep at night.

Not sure why this place has such great reviews on other sites. Obviously taxes are expected to be added to any purchase, but be prepared to pay ~$2K MORE than the price of the car in dealer/delivery/maintenance fees.

Honestly, don't waste your time. The cars are priced low because they add extra imaginary fees. The customer service is great and my salesman wasn't pushy but the manager Al and his fees are full of complete crap. He even tried to show me that they as dealerships have to pay fees like I'm some child that doesn't know that. My BS radar went off when he pulled that feigning "transparency." Al, those legitimate fees do not justify the added fees that you were trying to charge me. They tried to add $2,096 of fees to my purchase. TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS! I had a pre approval from Capital One and went to purchase a 2019 Nissan Rogue listed for $15,995 on their website. I test drove it and decided that it was right for me. When I was ready to fill out my application for them to send to officially send to Capital One and told them I wasn't going to pay any money down, that's when Al rushed over to tell me the fees that Capital One doesn't include. This included a doc fee (normal to all dealerships), a PDI fee, Certification fee, and another fee. Their doc fee was $599 which is ridiculous since New Jersey's doc fee is only supposed to be $399 or less and the PDI fee and certification fees are INCLUDED IN THE LIST PRICE. Yes Cartopia it is. After I left, I did my research, spoke to other dealerships, spoke to Capital One, and spoke to a used car salesman. Those fees are a rip off. PDI is a prep fee and the dealership gets reimbursed for those fees from the manufacturer. The customer does not have to pay that. As for the doc fee, even Capital One said that your doc fee was too high (because it was a rip off) and the fees that you were charging me for, my own bank HAS NEVER HEARD OF! I thought that I had finally met honest salesmen but Cartopia was among the worst of the bunch. Don't waste your time.

I originally posted a negative review here and on Facebook. Wanted to update my review because I was helped by Al from CarTopia. He was able to help me very fast and was very polite through the entire process!

Car dealership is very unprofessional, sold us a car under false pretenses. We bought a car from them before the tristate started to shut down for Covid-19. We were promised certain things on the car would be changed and they never were. When dealing with Al he avoids calls at all cost and says we have to deal with Cassie, the office manager. That's he's on vacation and can't be bothered at the moment. We were told that they would put a set of used tires on the car, and they never did. We were told they would put new brakes on the vehicle they never did. Finally after a month of back and forth it was agreed we would take the car to their tire shop and have the tires swapped out. Once arriving at Flat house tires, who does business with Cartopia we were told that the tires we want for our car we would never find in the USA and he continued to put the wrong tires on. He continued to argue with my husband telling him "you have no idea what your talking let me do my job" When we told him that's not what we want he told us "too bad tires are sold as is and even if I had the time I'm not swapping them out today" When we told Cassie of this issue she told us that she has never had an issue with this tire place and we shouldn't have threatened the gentleman and that she will not be replacing our tires. Even though while at his facility he had another customer irate because his tire was about to fall off after they replaced it. They sold us a car in NJ that WILL NOT pass a NYS inspection. If I could rate them no stars I would. They put the incorrect Tire size and speed rating that is mandatory to be on our high performance vehicle recommend by BMW dealerships EVERYWHERE. Seeing as it is still under warranty through BMW & the dealership. They have refused to hold up their end. Then upon coming to leave a review I see that Cassie the office manager is the only one to post a good rating about the business she works for. I will never recommend someone to this dealership. It seems as others agree too.

Can't thank CarTopia enough for getting me approved on a car that I really wanted. They made the process easy and affordable for me. I highly recommend these guys if you're looking for a great deal on a pre-owned car. They are easy to work with and understand the costumers needs.
