Carusu Restaurant

At first we couldn't believe all the many great reviews, but really, it’s definitely the case. My husband and I celebrated my Birthday, we had a very warm welcome from the gentleman at the front house and then handed over to two amazing ladies who were very attentive to all our requests and gave us great recommendations based on our restrictions. We became immersed in the whole experience which was beautifully accompanied with stories and other information. Presentation and taste are exceptional, service couldn't be better. Bravo chef! I would definitely come back to Sicily just to visit this restaurant, and honestly we were pleasantly surprised by the great value. Worth every penny!

Best food in Sicily! It was seriously so refreshing after all those recommended restaurants to have finally amazing Italian food - great fish, absolutely delicious risotto and outstanding desserts and all that in a restaurant that creates a truly comfortable and perfect experience, both in terms of service and the interior/music, just a complete and whole dinner! Definitely worth visiting!

I dined here twice during during my stay in Agrigento. I can highly recommend Carusu to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. The young team provides warm hospitality and is very attentive. The kitchen is excellent with many Sicilian ingredients and dishes. They also offer a vegetarian tasting menu and plenty of vegetarian options beyond what's on the regular menu. There's a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails too.

My friends and I had a fantastic dinner at Carusu while we were travelling in Sicily. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Outstanding vegetarian tasting menu, with an awesome wine selection. We loved the Findiro, a local wine that is fantastic.

Made a booking online, received a confirmation email, arrived at the correct time with our sleepy child only to be told their system did not have our reservation. The restaurant was completely empty except for one other table of 2, no flexibility to try to figure something out. We said we would happily eat within 45 mins and leave (we had driven 30 mins for this booking) - nope. I don’t understand how a very fancy expensive restaurant like this doesn’t bother to check if their booking systems work correctly, but it is simply not good enough.
