A relaxed Sunday browse with easy parking and a maker-friendly vendor mix, running May through October at City Stadium. Often spotlighted by local media for its bluegrass jam days, it’s a low-key, very Richmond way to shop.

Nice farmers market with good variety, my favorite vendor is Mediterranean Family Kitchen, they make the best Hummus, Toum, Shatta, ishta and salads. I really love their 3 layer Feta cheese dip.

Carytown Farmers Market is smaller, but it always has a nice variety of vendors, and there is nice flow because it isn't crowded. There's plenty of parking by the market, which makes it convenient if you're bringing little kids and babies in strollers.

A solid market to visit! Arrive before 10:30 the vendors will run out of products. The food trucks vary. Not a huge market but you'll find something to enjoy.

Our family loves the Carytown Farmers Market! We go every Sunday to get our weekly produce, listen to music and grab lunch. The vendors are so friendly, parking is easy, and there are never too many crowds or long lines, so it is the perfect Sunday morning activity. Highly recommend!

First time going to this farmers market, so can't give more stars. Nice small place. Expected more sellers, but ... There was a live band playing and mostly arts and craft for sale. Two fresh fruits and vegetables stalls, one was organic (had to take sellers word), the other minimal chemicals. Both same price. Go figure!!! Good to go with company so you can sit back and enjoy the food/ snacks. The home made baklava were wonderful, but expensive. $10 for 4 tiny pieces. No regrets! I did not find the prices of vegetables criminally expensive. They were ok.

First time going. It was incredibly fun different array of vendors ranging from fruits and vegetables to meats and sweats! There are bathrooms available and pets seem to be allowed which means cute dogs will probably be there! Would definitely visit again.

The new location has much more parking and it’s more open. The free yoga classes and the music makes this a great family outing. Each day this Market is growing, more vendors and more things to offer. I absolutely love the management!

Yelp
I enjoyed visiting the holiday artisan market in December at Carytown Farmers Market. There were so many different vendors to browse with a variety of products. It was busy, but we didn't have any problem finding parking in the gravel lot directly across from City Stadium (the main lot was full). Even though there were many other shoppers, it didn't feel cramped or too crowded. The event was family friendly and dog friendly. There was also an area for Santa to greet children. All of the vendors were very helpful and welcoming. We got some holiday shopping done, and I also bought a fun mug for myself. Vendors included fine art, soaps and bath products, specialty food, candles, pet products, and home decor.

Yelp
I wasn't impressed on my first go here, sadly. We arrived just after 11am start time on a hot morning, and some tents were not set up, 2 large vehicles were in the lot, the vendors still unloading. One tent with veggies had no one there to answer a question. I'll stick with the markets I already know.

Yelp
I've been here on several occasions and have found the vendors to be very friendly and the selection and quality of the produce to be great. Reyes Farm has amazing local vegetables at really reasonable prices. The peppers at Village Garden are far superior to anything you can get in the grocery store. One of the standouts for me is Alfredo's Honey. He has the coolest selection of jars and delicious honey varieties, all from his own bees of course. Also, the Vietnamese coffee at Limeades and More is to die for! It's so rich and creamy, and particularly lovely iced on a hot day. Overall it's a great little market. It's definitely on the smaller side, but it makes up for it in the variety and quality of its vendors. They switch up the vendors a bit week to week, so make sure to check the market weekly vendor map on their website if you're going for one vendor in particular. The only downside is that there's hardly any shade and you're walking on asphalt, so it gets really hot during the summer. Finding free parking is very easy. There are a couple empty lots right nearby plus parking on the street.

Yelp
Unfortunately I was not impressed. They did not have a lot of vendors although they had a great turn out of customers. I go every weekend to the farmers market in Forest hill which is very impressive.

Yelp
I love this market. Yes, not quite as many vendors as some of the established markets but this will grow. The location is PERFECT being right over in the Kicker's Stadium now. There is plenty of parking and very walkable/bikeable from the fan, Carytown, Museum district and near West End. There is always live music too which is cool. Last weekend it was this incredible blues guitarist/singer who is actually one of our city bus drivers! Vendors there are diverse and unique. I know they intend to add more now that they have the new space. Best of all....it's SUNDAY! I love the Sunday market option. This WILL grow and be amazing. Stick with it!

Yelp
This is a great market if you want to actually shop and not spend a ton of time. I like the Forest Hill market, too, but that is a much longer and different kind of experience. There aren't as many vendors, it's true, but there is a good amount of produce which is what I go for. My only suggestion is that there isn't much shade and there needs to be more public seating. We've gotten food there to eat before and then not really had a place to sit down comfortably, especially on warmer days.

Yelp
Was underwhelmed. Really small and not much selection. Would much rather go to the other farmers markets in the area. The only redeeming factor is that it's in Carytown. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5.
