Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant

It’s not often that I get to go out to eat, but I am out here celebrating my sister‘s 41st birthday. The waiter that we had was absolutely fantastic and the food was both prompt and delicious. 10 out of 10 will be coming back again

I don't know about the 17.00 skinny margarita. I got the pulled pork tacos and they were very delicious. The restaurant wasn't too busy and it's nice and clean and the attendance are very attentive

First time here. Cinco de mayo. Real busy. The front hostess weren't friendly and messed up our wait and seating. We were stuck in a booth way in the back around a corner in a cubby with another booth, shut off from the rest of restaurant. It smelled weird and had little flies on the wall. Got moved to bar. Then a booth. The music was extremely loud and nobody could hear or understand eachother including the server. The drinks weren't great (margaritas, margarita flight and tropical Tucan) food was ok tacos al pastor. Bland not much to it and cabbage and onion with it just raw nothing fancy. The silverware was dirty and one of the drinks glass had soap bubbles in it and the cup was still hot. I also saw on the table if you leave a Google review you show server and get $5 off meal. I was going to write a review anyways but then did it now to get the discount because the bill was $135 and not worth it. We were already charged so no discount. I'm not sure if this place is subpar today due to the business of cinco de mayo (we came at 5pm) or if it's always like this. They didn't provide a full drink of the crystal ball either there was no flame or 151. When I asked they said it was because they were too busy. Not great service and unhappy all around. Luckily I had earplugs in my purse for when traveling and my partner snoring, I've never had to use them at a restaurant ever lol but today was the first. I was looking to come here for trivia but after this experience I have no interest in ever returning. Maybe I'll try their $1 tacos on taco Tuesday but thats a big maybe and only because/if my buddy wants to come back then I'd go for him to see a good friend. I gave a 2 instead of 1 because I'm being generous and taking the holiday into consideration since it's also my first time and experience here. The flies really bugged me, pun intended or not, just seemed unsanitary and unclean. The bathroom was gross too. I'm not even a snob or super food critic but after being here less than 10 minutes I already wanted to leave, I only stayed because I was with my bf and best friend and we all decided to just tough it out. I read the reviews before coming and they seemed decent/good, I guess it depends on the person writing the review lol. Forgot to take that into consideration, the boys are easy to please but they weren't happy with this place either. Oh well, on a more positive note, hurray for the victory of the mexican army over the french !

Casa Blanca is hands down one of the best Mexican spots around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portions are generous, and everything tastes authentic—from the tacos to the fajitas. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. If you’re craving real Mexican food with great service, this is definitely the place to go!

Our waiter was very friendly and served our table well! I lived near Mexico for about 25 years and found the food very authentic and delicious! I love Mexican food and have eaten here in the past and will come here again! We especially want to return to this restaurant on a Tuesday since a Mariachi band plays from 6-9 pm. This would be a perfect time to celebrate our “Date Night” (always on ) with my wife! An enjoyable meal!

Taco Tuesday is our new addiction. My bestie says the chicken tacos have her heart, more than any man does, but I’d have to go with the beef ones. The warm chips never fail to warm my soul. We did almost die while trying the green pepper hot sauce on the table. Taste if you dare. The band is AMAZING. We’re their biggest fans tbh. I will never forget the indescribable overwhelming scent illuminating from the bathroom. Taco Tuesday rocks!! Rock on!

I loved it I had the chimmey chunga is was the best I love this place to and they have Mexican sodas which I love so yea 5 stars

We stopped in to grab a drink and some food after shopping in the MB plaza. We sat at the bar and the bartender immediately greeted us and gave us food and drink menus. She was so sweet and she was kind to all the guests sitting at the bar. Despite the restaurant closing soon, they still served food to guests and passed out baskets of fresh, hot tortilla chips and chilled salsa. I got the tortilla soup and a sangria. Both were delicious! The soup had tortilla strips in it already, but I added a few extra from the basket of chips we got. I would definitely come back and try some other menu items. Very cute place and it is a great location.

Food and drinks were really good prices were reasonable service was super fast and was very quite can't wait to go back

Food is so good and pretty cheap if I had one complaint it's that every time I feel rushed. And I'm not one to linger over meals

My boyfriend and I have visited this place twice in the past few months sat at a booth first time. Chips and drinks came quickly as well as the meal. But the staff both times tried to take our food away before finishing. They didn't look too busy. I don't think I'll go back.

Very good service. Waiters were very kind. Loved the food. Very sweet atmosphere and was very happy. Would recommend if you like Mexican food!

I just have to say I'm really disappointed with this management staff not following up with a bad review. It makes me realize they really don't care about the customer and the 70 dollars I spent were a waste since the food was bland and the alcohol drinks were like water a true ripoff

A quiet rainy Wednesday night and business was slow. Service fortunately was fast and very polite. Everyone was very polite. It's 100% chain restaurant food. Nothing special and very average food. The Steak Fajita was what you'd expect from a chain. 4 soft tortillas, seasoned steak strips with peppers and onions all sizzling. Some guac, sour cream, cheese, rice and beans. Taco's El Pastor with Chicken, very dry chicken, probably precooked and reheated, well below average but plenty of it. I guess people come here to drink and big food portions. One visit is enough. Next time in the area I'll go back to Code One BBQ next door.

Family owned, Riccardo and his family work very hard to try to make your experience in their restaurant pleasant If something doesn't meet your expectations ask for him as he will always do his best to make your experience enjoyable

Average food quality. Each time I've had long wait for service and sometimes plays music very loud

Food is pretty good, dessert was delicious. The flan was one of the best I've had. The churros is also delicious! Service is excellent! I love that they actually play Mexican music instead of other music, feels more authentic. Other Mexican restaurants play dumb music....

We got the chips and salsa very quickly and both were delicious. We ordered drinks: one presidente margarita and one Prosecco-Rita. Unfortunately, the Prosecco-Rita was 16 oz when it was supposed to be 22 oz according to the menu. When we pointed this out to the waitress she offered to add more liquid to my current drink? She didn't offer to speak to the manager at all, which was disappointing. We waited around 40 minutes for the waitress to come back to take our actual food order, including guacamole. It took about 30 more minutes for the guac to come out and we had it for about 5 minutes before our meals came out. Ryans burrito was hot and delicious while my flautas were cold, but still delicious. Waitress didn't check on us until we were practically done eating. The food was GREAT but we didn't intend on being out for nearly 2 hours for dinner so unless they work on their service (restaurant was empty) we won't be back.

I can't vouch for other franchises in the Casa Blanca chain, but the one in Wilmington is great. Fresh guacamole (from the cart), enchiladas (I recommend ones with mole sauce), to the desserts (churros, flan), everything is very good. The staff is friendly and prompt, and the decour is fitting. It's our local go-to place for Mexican food.

I've got to say the service was excellent from the time I walked in the door. Granted it wasn't too busy but I was greeted and I just sat at the bar. Within a few seconds there were warm tortilla chips and salsa in front of me. The bartender (Angie) was great and had my drink in front me within a couple of minutes of ordering the With a menu in hand. Then disappeared and shocked me shocked me when she came out from behind the bar to take my order. The food was above average. My experience was an extremely positive. Highly recommended.

I and because my husband picked it out. I ordered an appetizer tex Mex . Presentation was pretty but food was cold and didn't come with what I asked for . And then you clearly stated that it came with queso queso. I took the meal reheated it in the microwave a little rubbery and even if I tried to eat my lips would have gotten 4th degree burns. This was even served back to me the way it was just disgusting I do not recommend this place out

We're new to the area and started looking for a few restaurants near us and landed on Casa Blanca. The average was lower than some of the other places we were considering, but after reading the 1 star reviews it seemed like the issue was more so on them. Putting it simply, all the things you should care about are great. The service, the food, and the drinks. It was fast, our server was super friendly and welcoming, and the meal and appetizers were great. Additionally, the margarita selection was awesome. The only thing missing are excuses to come back.

Had a great lunch here again today, our favorite spot in Wilmington. Thanks Adriana for your wonderful service today, as always! We love the Fiesta Platter! My husband loves the Taco El Pastor, and my favorite Southwestern Quesadilla. We sometimes get the chicken wings appetizer and they are great, so tasty and fried to perfection. I recommend getting the Fiesta Platter so you can try the different appetizers, nachos, mini quesadillas, taquito bites, baby chimichangas and very tasty wings. Great staff and wonderful food!

Service is consistently poor. The waiter and bartender lied about the size of the drinks, charged us for the large drinks but brought us the small. When I confronted them about it they continued to lie and treated me like I was stupid for bringing it up.

Place was nearly empty for lunch. We were seated and served by Adriana. She kept our drinks full and checked on us. Food was average for a chain restaurant.

Gave this place another chance. I kept getting good feedback. Glad I did! Everything was so much better. Great drinks, good food and service. What a turnaround.

Slightly better than average Mexican food, making it the best in Wilmington. More accurately I'd give them a 3.5 if possible. We got take out and sat at the bar. Bartender seemed overwhelmed with the minor crowd. Hostess was great, friendly and helpful. The food was average I would say but definitely good enough I would go back again.

My mom cousin and i went here tonight and it was great! Drinks were fabulous, food was piping hot, and DELICIOUS! The chips and salsa filled us up, and the queso was so good! We were so full, but we HAD to get churros, and those were AMAZING! Will definitely be back!

The Street Burrito was Absolutely Horrible, they don't even cut the Steak into pieces that you can Eat! This was the First Burrito I had read get a Fork and Knife to eat! The whole thing was Just Disgusting!

Been here twice. Once with friends once with my kids, hoping to go back a third time. I'm not a Mexican food lover (wife hates that about me). But honestly this is one of the few places she can suggest and I'd be happy to say yes! Great food, great service, great drinks

So disappointed in this restaurant! When the waitress came over to take my order I informed her that I was severely allergic to tomatoes. 45 minutes later, when my order came out there was tomatoes on the plate. I sent it back and told her I did not want anything because my allergy is so severe and she didn't listen the first time so I was nervous. She came back out with another order with tomatoes on the plate again, she clearly was not listening. I told her I was all set and did not want another meal. She came out 20 minutes later with a third meal which was correct after I told her I did not want it. We then got the bill and I was charged for the meal that I told her I did not want and that came out wrong numerous times. I emailed the restaurant to let them know about my concerns and no response. Very disappointing that a restaurant does not take allergies seriously.

Ordered a fajita burrito.... but it was missing an important component ..... the burrito ........ Never ordering take out from here again.

Casa Blanca Wilmington, MA - Stay away, run away, your money is better spent at Taco Bell. On two different occasions I have ordered UBER Eats and can confirm that they got the correct order but anything but got delivered. In one case spent 9 extra dollars for Red Snapper for a salad with dressing. No fish, no dressing and wilted lettuce. On Another occasion they were clearly out of to got boxes and delivered to plates in a catering tray. Sorry but I did not order enchilada soup. The last straw is that whenever I call I am told, "the manager is not here, YOU can try to reach him later". Three weeks of this and not one return phone call. I do not know if the corporate gods listen, but please, please, please put Wilmington out of their misery,

Food is great, drinks are great and service is exceptional. Both times I've been the staff had been really responsive and intuitively anticipates that customers wants

Where to begin. so when this place first opened up we tried it out. the service was so horrible we spent about 20 minutes waiting for the check itself. longer then what took me to eat. the server was very neglectful even gave me the wrong debit card back. The food was pretty ok so fast forward over a year or 2 to last night 6/29/23 I decided to take my boyfriend there for a drink or 2. We both ordered margaritas which we pointed to on the menu clearly stating the price next to each one. Drink was ok. i saw them pouring what i assume was house tequila from some coffee thermos container (kinda strange) anyhow at the end of the experience we were greeted with the bill from the bartender. which had $60 for the 4 small margaritas we had. they were marked as Grande. Which neither of us asked for. My boyfriend then spoke to this bartended and she said she typically just gives everyone a Grande. Well on the menu that is an upcharge that neither of us asked for. She got real weird and defensive and told us she did it because she was too busy and also training someone. which I watched her most if the time sipping on a drink starring at me and my boyfriend because it was actually slow and end of the night. Either way dont tell customers you charged them wrong because you were busy after you already lied about it. Then I go on here and see the same thing has happened to others. Management really should take this serious, she is scamming people and it is not right. I will never step foot in this establishment again. And I will pass this story onto everyone I know.

Love Casa Blanca in Chelmsford and super happy they opened another even closer in Wilmington. Looking forward to going out to dinner or lunch in 2021. Enchiladas, carne asada and all other dishes are delicious

I had been to other Casablanca locations and food and service has always been great but I don't know what's going on with this one. It could be a slow start for them with covid but the service was very, very slow. Food was just okay. Again, I think it was a bad night. There weren't many people in the restaurant but those that were there were all still waiting for food. I overheard one family grt up and leave - complaining that they had been waiting for their food for over an hour. Uber eats drivers were waiting over 40 mins for their orders. I hope this changes because it would be nice to have some Mexican food options in this town!

Very nice local restaurant with delicious food and kind people! The food tastes home made compared to chains, not excessively flavored and oily. Very clean.

I was going to let it go. I even took a pic of our receipt and what we got and I was still going to let it go. Then I cut into my enchiladas with barbacoa only to find that there was actually no barbacoa inside. We also asked for black beans instead of refried beans and didn't get them, but still got charged for them anyway. Only giving them a 2 star bc my husband always seems to enjoy his meal while I consistently get screwed! Posting this so I can show it to him the next time he suggests Casa Blanca for takeout!

I really wanted to like this spot cause it's like the only Spanish place in Wilmington. We recently just moved here! I was also intrigued by their 1$ taco Tuesday sign so it won me over. Boom. We get there and we clearly got a new waitress on the job which is fine by me until he never gave all of us our drinks until I had to ask. For the 1$ tacos YOU MUST GET A DRINK TO QUALIFY. The food was OKAY. I was expecting some MEXICAN FOOD but it was basically like a Taco Bell. I will say the drinks is strong!

Good food and good takeout service. I recommend the street burritos and the house margaritas.

I want to support local restaurants and I do. That what troubles me. Casa Blanca really drops the ball more than it should. The staff is always friendly! The problem is the kitchen. This is my first negative review of the establishment but not my first bad experience. Let me say that Sebastian our server was friendly and helpful. He also tried to gloss over our problem to save the restaurant embarresment. I was served a seafood dish that didn't have all of the ingredients listed and what I would consider unsatisfactory clams and mussels. The dish comes with octopus and it was missing and the clams and mussels were the smallest I've ever seen. There were also mussels with the shells in pieces. Were those mussels dead and a danger? I explained the problem and was told that because of covid some items are hard to get. Then don't sell the item if you don't have the ingredients. I asked that I would like an adjustment to the bill but I did not want my meal comps. I got $4 off a $28 dollar entree. I paid and told Sebastian that the blame lies directly with the manager and kitchen manager. I will be writing them off for a while. Mexican is the easiest food to make and I have been disappointed at least 3 times. Time to step up. I have never had a problem with their North Andover or Haverhill locations.

Nice play with a cool environment. There were a lot of highschool/college aged kids there. Waiter was nice and very attentive. A little bit pricey for some items but overall a good spot.

Came here for lunch and the place was very quiet. The chips and salsa offered to start were good. Unfortunately the table we sat at was uneven so with each movement the table rocked back and forth like a see saw. The quesadilla I ordered said it came with Guac and sour cream on the menu. When my meal came, I saw it only had sour cream. I asked the waiter for guacamole and he returned minutes later saying they didn't have any at the moment. The tacos my mom ordered were very dry. For a new restaurant the inside was not well kept.

It's really gone down hill. We used to order from here about six months ago and it was great. We moved away, but made the trip back to the area and had Casa Blanca.. what a disappointment! The guac is so watery and filled with far too many onions. The pork was discolored and flavorless. Super sad...

Casa Blanca was great... best part was the Coconut margarita the waitress Jacqueline made for us! It was not on the menu but I told we really were craving a coconut marg so she made one for us. I'll definitely he back just for that! Great service too!

I love this spot. Great food and great drinks. Our waitress Jackie was incredible. Very nice, personable and fun. I'd come back to see her and the margaritas!

My wife and I have been here many times.  In general, it had been an adequate restaurant.  We want to like this place. It's close to home, the waitstaff is friendly, the drinks are good and the food is edible enough for a middle of the road,  $$,  Mexican style restaurant. With only the two of us, we tend to sit at the bar. Lately, they seem to be understaffed and the bartender is overwhelmed. He is waiting on tables as well as tending the bar. In our last three visits, the food has been just okay. The real problem is that the order is never right. It's never wrong enough to throw a fit over, just annoying. The bartender tends to take the orders without writing it down and one or two (or three) items end up wrong.  This evening, nothing we ordered was delivered as ordered.  Is it the bartender not writing it down or is it the kitchen screwing it up?  No way of knowing but, either way,  we're done here.

The service is great and the place is nice, clean and good atmosphere but the margaritas were weak and not tasty and the food was just ok. Nothing special sadly. I think they need to look at what makes other Mexican food taste great and emulate. Needs an authentic Mexican food make over. Not spicy at all. The place has a lot of potential.

I was recently informed that an employee recently tested positive for C_19. Manager was informed. He instructed all the staff to get tested. No other action was taken. They continued to operate without following MA State reporting mandate. Also, the person in the kitchen cooks all evening without wearing a mask. This is outrageous.

Food was good! Enjoyed my sangria and our meals. The server was attentive and friendly (thanks Gabriel) Only issue was the dirty menus, we should have used the contactless menus

Loved their food it is very good. When I ordered take out the only problem I found was that it was cold when I got it. When I ate there in person I set out money to pay, the waitress came by picked it up and never returned. I did not even see the bill. This is very poor business practice. I will give them a break once but it better never happen again.

Went here recently on a Sunday afternoon and the place was basically empty. I did not feel the hostess was overly friendly but sometimes having a mask on it's hard to tell! We were seated after a few minutes. Table was so sticky and booth seat the same.... we did not speak up as it may have been the disinfectant they are using.. we'll hopefully! Waited on pretty quickly... no alcoholic drinks so cannot rate. Chips and salsa cane and the salsa looked pretty good but my friend said it was HOT so I opted not to have any but chips were very good! The waiter on the other hand acted like he did not want to be there... uninterested.. felt like he did not want to answer our questions and after we were not ready to order he did not come back for quite some time! For his demeanor I gave him a crappie tip which he was deserving of.... I was a server for decades and he deserved what I gave- less than 15%... too bad! I ordered a chimichanga which was very good despite the rice which was BLAH! I may return but hoping the SERVICE will improve?! Also they blasted the music when we were ready to leave... it was way to loud... eeekk
