I had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Botticelli in Florence. From check-in to check-out, everything ran seamlessly, with a level of care and attentiveness that made the experience feel effortless. The rooms are immaculately designed—elegant, serene, and thoughtfully arranged, blending classic Florentine charm with modern comfort. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with a perfectly made cappuccino and croissant, as well as a broader continental spread featuring fresh pastries and light fare. Situated in the heart of Santo Spirito, the location is ideal for exploring the more authentic, artistic side of Florence. I would return in a heartbeat—Casa Botticelli is a quiet gem.

We stayed at the Casa Botticelli boutique hotel for 4 nights. Beautifully presented accommodation in a charming and historic building. An excellent base to explore the city. Giacomo & team were wonderful hosts.

It seems the hotel is in parts and we were away from the main area where the reception and breakfast dining room is. It's an historic building with lots of stairs and an unreliable looking lift. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. It felt though as if we were in an air b and b and not a hotel at all. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. There was a coffee machine on the landing outside our room. Decent location on a quiet street. Florence is amazing 😻

Sometimes, you just find an exquisite place, and Casa Botticelli was one of those.|This lovely Florentine boutique hotel, with an interesting history, was conveniently located in San Felice, just a few minute's walk from the Pitti Palace and Ponte Vecchio.|On arrival, I was greeted by Roberta. She was most welcoming and helpful throughout my visit, advising me on beautiful restaurants, shopping, and different walks in the area.|I initially booked for 4 nights and extended by 2 more, Roberta kindly upgraded me, and both rooms I stayed in were very spacious and tastefully decorated and filled with stunning art, sculptures and antiques.|The hotel had a beautiful dining/lounge room, where you could enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast, with a variety of hams, salami, cheeses, seasonal fruits and melt in your mouth pastries and great coffee of course.|The room's centre piece was a beautifully laid dining table, and over the mantle piece, a stunning painting, here you could relax at any time of the day.|This hotel certainly had a homely feeling. For me, it was the perfect place to immerse yourself in the fascinating atmosphere of Santo Spirito and enjoy Florentine life|#janetstravelstyle #janetcourtneydesign

Overall decent stay, we appreciated fresh pastries in the morning and good location. We were looking forward to staying in this place as it was recommended on Michelin guide.. However considering you pay 350 Euro + for the night, I would not expect to see a small, cheap TV in the room, a bed and materace of inferior quality (feeling every move when you turn in bed)…. Doors to the rooms not reducing the noises from reception and corridor… Unfortunately, we would not consider to come back as we were not able to relax and have a pieceful sleep…

Loved this hidden gem. I want to keep this our secret. Looks like nothing on the outside but inside the rooms are lovely. Building felt very safe. The rooms are beautifully decorated. Bed and pillows ultra comfortable. Bathroom is large. Breakfast was set out beautifully. Tasty as well Staff was nice Located in a very lively area That being said it can be pretty noisy. We knew the area and this was not a issue for us

It was amazing staying at Casa Botticelli. Let's start with the fact that the hotel looks amazing, it's got amazing artistic details, and it's a pleasant place. Also, we celebrated a birthday at the hotel, and Giacomo took care of us in an amazing room that felt like it was straight out of a movie. Breakfast was great, and they gave us a delicious birthday cake. This hotel is highly recommended, we had an excellent experience.

Eleonora the owner was such a pleasant lady - bubbling over with enthusiasm for Florence and extremely knowledgeable about the city. Casa Botticelli is steeped in history with the main dining room having been the study of Robert Browning and his wife Elisabeth Barrett from 1847 onwards. The Casa is located about 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio so is the perfect starting point for sightseeing. Our room no. 7 on the second floor was beautifully appointed, tastefully designed with a great freestanding bathtub - the focal point of the room. The room itself was very clean and pleasantly warm 23 °C. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows. Lovely welcoming gift of Chianti wine and water. Breakfast was tasty and catered for our needs. Self check-in went smoothly. Giacomo, the manager, was available in case of need. Car parking was in a local garage at a very reasonable price of 30€/day.
