Casa Botticelli in San Felice

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, housekeeping was great, and I even got a free bottle of wine on arrival. There’s also an elevator and a cozy lounge where breakfast is served. The only downsides: sound insulation isn’t very good, because of street noise and sometimes neighbors, and the bathroom is a glass cube inside the room, which felt a bit uncomfortable. I was worried about the location before arriving, but it turned out to be great, location is close to the center, yet in a calmer area with local artisan shops. Overall, I’d recommend it.

My husband and I had an amazing stay here. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and allowed for a wonderful start to each day. Roberta was very attentive and hospitable. She ran everything seamlessly and gracefully. Everything was within walking distance with lots of great tourist attractions and restaurants near by. Will definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Very kind, warm, and friendly staff, especially Roberta! She was very helpful from prior to getting the hotel and throughout our stay. Very accommodating considering we came with a lot of family. Breakfast was great as well. Hotel is relatively close to main attractions. Wish we could’ve stayed longer in Florence and especially at this hotel. Also had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Boticelli, very kind and pleasant person! Whenever I visit again, will definitely have to come back here again! Thank you to whole staff!

We stayed at the Casa Botticelli boutique hotel for 4 nights. Beautifully presented accommodation in a charming and historic building. An excellent base to explore the city. Giacomo & team were wonderful hosts.

It seems the hotel is in parts and we were away from the main area where the reception and breakfast dining room is. It's an historic building with lots of stairs and an unreliable looking lift. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. A complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. It felt though as if we were in an air b and b and not a hotel at all. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special. There was a coffee machine on the landing outside our room. Decent location on a quiet street. Florence is amazing 😻

The staff were consistently warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Breakfast was a lovely start to each day, with a perfectly made cappuccino and croissant, as well as a broader continental spread featuring fresh pastries and light fare. Situated in the heart of Santo Spirito, the location is ideal for exploring the more authentic, artistic side of Florence. I would return in a heartbeat—Casa Botticelli is a quiet gem.

It was amazing staying at Casa Botticelli. Let's start with the fact that the hotel looks amazing, it's got amazing artistic details, and it's a pleasant place. Also, we celebrated a birthday at the hotel, and Giacomo took care of us in an amazing room that felt like it was straight out of a movie. Breakfast was great, and they gave us a delicious birthday cake. This hotel is highly recommended, we had an excellent experience.

Overall decent stay, we appreciated fresh pastries in the morning and good location. We were looking forward to staying in this place as it was recommended on Michelin guide.. However considering you pay 350 Euro + for the night, I would not expect to see a small, cheap TV in the room, a bed and materace of inferior quality (feeling every move when you turn in bed)…. Doors to the rooms not reducing the noises from reception and corridor… Unfortunately, we would not consider to come back as we were not able to relax and have a pieceful sleep…
