"If the prospect of eating in a typical Asturian “chigre” (cider bar) appeals to you, this unpretentious and authentic restaurant, located just a few kilometres from Mieres in the small parish of Turón and run by the third generation of the family, is a good option. Here, you can enjoy home-style cooking with lots of flavour, including slow-cooked stews, with a focus on high-quality ingredients. If you’re even REMOTELY in the area, do yourself and tastebuds a favor and come here. We came for a late lunch from Oviedo 25 minutes away. A small place in a small town. Came on a Sunday and the town was completely dead, and we realized when we showed up it was because everyone was here 😃 A family owned and run restaurant generations in the family. We didn’t know what to get and they happily took us on a tour of Asturias - 6 courses of local produce, seafood and meat. Everything was so fresh, so thoughtfully prepared and beautiful. Excellent wines and cider as well. The family treated us as if we’d known them for years, the wife even hugging us goodbye. My only regret is that I don’t have any photos...I was too busy enjoying myself and the food! You won’t regret coming out of your way to eat here.

Que placer es comer en sitios como este. Desde que llegas, te tratan como uno más de la familia. Sitio pequeño y pocas mesas pero ambiente más que agradable. El personal atento y cuidadoso, majos y agradables que te hacen sentir como en casa. La comida es espectacular, llena de sabor y buen producto, con un toque clásico y algo moderno. La verdad que muchas veces, menos es más, aquí se aplica muy bien. Comimos dos entrantes, la imprescindibles concretas y un pulpo a la brasa y varios principales de carne y pescado. El postre imprescindible. Muy recomendable y seguro que volvemos con más familia para poder disfrutar de más platos.
