Casa De Chocolates produces artisanal, hand-crafted, works of chocolate art derived from Latin flavors.
Casa De Chocolates also apparently hacked into my brain's primitive reward circuitry in the ventral tegmental area by pumping up the dopamine, inhibiting the serotonin, and taking my nucleus accumbens to the fourth base on the first date! (Forgive the neuro reference it's my job).
Normally, eating chocolate is something one doesn't think too much about (i.e. popping some pedestrian Hershey's into your mouth); however, occasionally, eating chocolate can be transformative. For example, when I was gifted a box of 12 bonbons, eating chocolate became an experience. When I opened the box, I was struck by the variety of designs and just how photogenic the pieces of chocolate were. I couldn't resist going paparazzi on them before and during consumption. Each taste in the 12 piece variety box (30.00$) was like a little decadent trip to a different place--there were tastes of mole, tequila, passion fruit, caramel, guava, cinnamon, tamarind, vanilla caramel, cajeta (a goat milk caramel). A favorite was the geometrically-delicious Lavanda with its dark chocolate, lavender, and mint undertones.
There's nothing much more to say than you deserve to try these; you are worth it; you deserve the dopamine hit! Gifting these to someone would also earn you tons of brownie-points to
