The lobster truffle mac and cheese with poblano and corn was out of this world. Though I found it odd that the restaurant didn’t have a cocktail menu.

Amazing restaurant I went once just to really check the hotel, since it is one of the most luxury ones in Mayakoba, but the food was amazing, delicious every bite. That much that we decided to go for breakfast twice and another time for Dinner. The steak was superb, delicious and tender. I am a big fan of Capital Grill but I can tell you without a doubt that this place is way better than that. HIghly suggest you to go, every dish is better than the one before. It is pricey but worthy

Super expensive and not great food. The veal was overcooked and the pasta had no flavor. Even the desserts were lame. Go to the Italian place at the resort next door at the Banyan Tree. It’s far better!

Large breakfast buffet for guests staying at the resort. Nice bar for drinks during the evening. Dishes at dinner are very large in size and a bit heavy.

Servicio y atención de lujo, todo el equipo es muy atento y considerando. Te hablan con respeto y te hacen sentir en casa. La comida tiene sabor espectacular, es amigable con personas alérgicas a los lácteos, como es mi caso. Los favoritos sin duda son el Cacio E. Pepe y el risotto de hongos. Los postres son fantásticos, ninguno queda sobrando. Si tienen la oportunidad de visitar, deben tomarla.

No conozco este sitio, solo pasé de largo, espero algún día poder entrar ahí , y darles una buena referencia

Great food and drinks! The beef carpaccio was amazing. Also had the lobster Mac and cheese and the bolognese and both were great. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. While I have no complaints at all, there was just something missing for me to give a 5 star rating. That being said, I would still definitely return.

Located at the Rosewood Mayakoba, Casa del Lago is a nice, elegant yet casual spot to get a nice Italian meal infused with touches of Mexico. The veal piccata was perfectly prepared and the margaritas from the bar...delicious.

Located at the front of the Rosewood Mayakoba property overlooking the pool, Casa Del Lago is exquisite. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and different, they take traditional regional Mexican dishes and add Italian flair to it. All pastas are made homemade in house daily as well as their sauces. Most dishes are accompanied with fresh seafood or meat. The portions are generous, so plan accordingly. The ambience is very romantic and quiet, would not suggest bringing your kids here. They also have a beautiful patio that is small, but lit with candlelight and overlooking the pool. It is pricey, but to be expected at such a beautiful resort.

We ventured from our resort to a neighboring Mayakoba resort, the Rosewood. At the recommendation of our concierge, we chose to have our last dinner in Mexico at Casa Del Lago. The resort is absolutely beautiful- breathtaking really. When we arrived, we were escorted to the host stand of the restaurant, and promptly seated in an outside, but intimate seating area lit mainly by candles. Our view was of the tops of palm trees and other beautifully landscaped scenery, surrounding the pool area. Our server was Angel, and he was spectacular. His professionalism, knowledge, and hospitality was nothing less than perfect- he truly was the the perfect example of what you expect in a place such as this. For our appetizer, we ordered the Anitpasto at Angel's recommendation, and it was very very good, and just the perfect portion to share with another person. Served along with 3 spreads, the wide variety of flavor in this dish was excellent. Before we even ordered, a bread basket was delivered to our table, served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and is refilled throughout your entire meal as you need. I ordered the lobster and shrimp ravioli, which was served in a light sauce and garnished with different vegetables. The portion was the perfect size to follow an appetizer, and the flavor was incredible.. nothing like I've ever tasted in a ravioli dish, but this was amazing! My husband ordered the veal, which was huge. The veal is served breaded and on the bone, with a very generous side salad. I'm not a fan of veal, but he asked me to "forget what it was and try it", so I did and I have to admit.. it was very good. For desert we split the Honey and Apple cream cake, which was similar to a cheesecake, with an apple jelly in the center, and lemon grass ice cream to compliment it. The ice cream tastes homemade, and the cake was the perfect size- just a couple bites for each of us -to finish our meal. We traveled to Mexico with another couple and chose our last night to spend alone for dinner, and this was the absolutely perfect place to do so. It was so peaceful, and we were so impressed by our entire experience. Thank you to the staff, Angel especially, for making our last night in Mexico so memorable!

A romantic set up on the edge of the pool with a view on the resort. The food is Italian with the local twist (lime and mint in pesto) and pasta is freshly made. The pizzeta appetizer had a soft, bread like crust - a bit disappointing. Pasta with seafood had delicious spicy tomato sauce. Portions are generous enough to share. Service is impeccable: attentive, friendly without being familiar. Price is expensive because it is a resort.
