Have you ever love a dish so much that you had to take an extra one to go? That was me today with their Pozole! It has been 8 years since I had something as tasty if not more, specially coming from California. Do you yourself a favor and get it with some chicken mole too!

Great service, food was very well made and felt like home cooking. All in all, a cozy place for a home cooked style meal. Recommend.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle and around! Always delicious, always friendly service! We were lucky enough to also have a gathering here with our family before our wedding too. They were so wonderful and made us feel so warm and special! Recommend the fried fish with beans and salad, Carnitas burrito with the red and green sauce, their pork ribs in green sauce is amazing too! You won't be disappointed, stop by and give casa del mariachi a try! We used to live around the corner, and now we're in the south end, but we still make our way to have some yummy food and say hello!

Texans, don’t come here looking for your fajita fix. We have been here a couple of times and it is hit or miss. Carnitas were extra tasty last time. The enchilada trio plate was a fun way to experience the different sauces. I wish the beans and rice had a little more garlic. Fajitas did make me sad. The beef had a lot of gristle I couldn’t chew, and they were served with marginally cool factory tortillas. Margaritas taste fresh, and not too mix-y. Service is fast and friendly. Green sauce is tangy and the red sauce is spicy and flavorful. We will be back and try other items. The fried fish looks amazing in other people’s reviews.

Went there on a Friday for dinner and had a great experience. Loved the nachos and trio enchiladas. Rice could’ve been more flavorful. Great presentation and friendly service.

Craving for Mexican food and found this family owned jewel tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Bright, vibrant, and clean restaurant with a friendly staff. Ordered the fish tacos and the portions were healthy, comes with a side of beans and rice. Bottomless chips and dip is complimentary while you wait. Highly recommended!

Do not pass this place without getting something to go or dine in. Great menu, some thing for everyone, all dietary needs are met here. Staff is super friendly! Place is clean! Even the restrooms are spotless. Love the authentic feel. Chips and bean dip areare brought to your table upon sitting down. Hot sauce is hot and flavorful, verde sauce is delicious! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Our family ate here last night. My veggie burrito was very good. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. My family enjoyed their burritos. Very filling, great service, we'll be back!

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. I almost do not want to review it so that it can stay our secret. The vibe here is a whole mood, mariachi videos in the background, amazing drinks, and best of all, amazing food. I always forget to take pictures before we devour our food. We always order a ton, and then some to go. I have not had a plate here I didn't like.

We chose by ratings, kept an open mind when we got there and tried it. The owners were nice, the restaurant was clean, everything in the building is outdated, but clean. The food quality was a 2-3/5, not comparable to menu images. 4 TV's were blaring overhead, no one else was in the restaurant at noon on a Saturday. We won't be back, but we wish them well.

In short A charming low-key neighborhood hangout that I would probably visit multiple times per week if I lived close. Solid food, good prices, very warm and friendly service. In long We were farther into the city than we often get, and were happy to find a spot that felt out of the way and quiet for a late lunch. Most neighborhoods from here south are densely built up, but this block has a few old apartment buildings and homes, then this little strip mall with a bit of parking. We kinda felt like we found an escape hatch from some hustle and some bustle. It's an older building, and since this is a summer visit, they had a portable A/C unit keeping the dining room comfortable. There are tables and chairs lined up on both sides of the room. They're right out to greet you with friendly smiles and menus. They have tons of old favorites listed, including mole and chilaquiles and a couple other things that make it more like a full family-style restaurant; it's definitely more than a taco shop. They even have a few beers and a margarita on the menu. The chips and salsa really stood out--genuine heat in the red bottle, great big flavors in the green. Nice refried beans in the bowl. The mole had great flavors, with black beans and yellow rice accompanying with plenty of character. The mole chicken comes with two drumsticks--nice tender moist dark meat adds good flavor. Not the biggest portion but hit the spot. The other two at the table each got chilaquiles. They had an interesting tomatillo sauce over them with bright acidity and nice interplay with the sour cream. The chips themselves could have been served warmer, and the steak wasn't the best cut ever, but they both cleaned their plates entirely. For 3 drinks and 3 plates, we left full for right at $100. This place is such a sweet little find on the north side of town.

We tried this place again, and again, and again.... And it's soooo good! I am so glad we gave it a second chance. The mole is a must try. It's just incredible. Margaritas taste fresh and not too sweet, service and ambiance are both great! This has become our go-to Mexican restaurant. We will certainly be back many times

A solid option overall. The potatoes in the flauta were not seasoned, so that was a little disappointing. The veggie taco and steak burrito were good; not amazing, but good. Avocado was super fresh and salsas were yummy. I wished things were a little spicier, but not a bad option.

Clearly a family run restaurant, and it shows in the fresh food which was not all super salty like most northwest Mexican food. Clean location, mom in the back, dad waiting tables, son running around. Good vibes! Chicken Enchiladas were fresh and appropriately sized for lunch, just enough but not too much!

This was a nice find. It's in a mini stre strip mall-ish setting and was very clean and comfortable inside. The owner was friendly and accommodating. Ordered the Carnitas plate. It was very good and I enjoyed it. I'll go back when I'm in the area.

The review said the Molé was the best dish on the menu, but it was a little bitter for my taste (almost like a strong undercurrent of a flavor like coffee). The chicken taco was a disappointment, but the beef and pork tacos were good. I would give the food three stars, but the restaurant is much less expensive than other Mexican restaurants in North Seattle, so I bumped the review up to four stars. Our dinners were about $16 each before tax and tip (no appetizers and no drinks).

Very cute spot in a less attractive shopping strip. You can tell the owners take pride in their space. The food and marg was great. Spicy salsas. I loved my caldo de pollo (ordered flour rather than corn tortillas). Husbands carnitas plate was also quite tasty. Definitely recommend this place!

Unassuming Mexican spot with incredible, authentic Mexican food that is not too pricey! For drinks we tried a double margarita which was wonderful. Complimentary chips and refried beans were a nice touch. The Chicken Burrito ($12.99) Looked great! The Mole ($15.99) was deeply flavored, perfectly tender, and nicely presented. Had the churros with ice cream ($4.50) for dessert - small and simple. The warm churros paired well with the ice cream.

Wonderfull food! Very authentic. I had the enciladas trios. It was delicious. Margarita was awsome too! I definatly recommend!

Cute and quaintly family run Mexican restaurant. Great margaritas chips and salsas and beans to start. My wife's Mole was to die for true Oaxacan enchiladas. Chili relleno was delicious. Service was very friendly by owner.

Fresh home cooking ! The food is super delicious and fresh. We had three dishes in total, enchiladas, chile relleno and costillas en salsa verde. Costillas, the sauce was fresh and light. Not to be confused with Chile Verde. The mole enchilada had a punch of flavor but the sauce felt light at the same time. Best mole in Seattle for sure. The picadillo chile relleno was super good, fresh , airy egg batter and fresh tomatoe salsa. In all each of us would probably order the same dishes next time we return.

In the mood for Mexican food and as close by and reviews looked good I gave it a try Easy to find, great parking and on entering the restaurant most bright and super clean Greeted by a most friendly waitress and as mid afternoon I was the only guest While there two groups of Mexican families came so the food offered must have been to their liking I went with the chili relleno meal and it was excellent, one of the best I have had. Light as a feather and most flavorful If looking for down home Mexican cooking this is the spot Jim at Maplelag in Minnesota

Delicious tacos - I had the carnitas, pastor, and chorizo. We enjoyed the refried beans and chips that they bring out to start. I also ordered a side of refried beans and rice to go with my tacos. The rice was fluffy with a nice flavor. The red and green sauces were very tasty. My husband ordered enchiladas verdes and the verde sauce was fresh and flavorful. Wish we could've tried more items!

A really cute little Mexican spot with pretty good tasting food, value for your money, and consistency of your order. Everyone has seemed to be very nice and welcoming as well. Only downside is it's a rather small place so I've switched to take out a few times to avoid a wait.

Authentic Mexican food with fresh ingredients and great flavor. Though the location is in an unassuming strip mall the restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. We weren't waiting long for our food and we devoured all of it-from the free chips and bean dip to our entrees. Somehow we managed to make room for dessert too. The homemade sauces are also a fabulous addition to the food. We did hit a little slow patch of service at the end but considering one server for a place that stays busy it's understandable. We left very full and satisfied with the food service and prices. We will definitely be coming back!

I have been eyeing on this place since when I saw that it has a 5 star rating both on yelp and google plus vegetarian options, win win. The restaurant is in a small complex with parking available. We came here on a weekend and the place was empty. It feels as if I were in a Mexican restaurant in Mexico. Not sure but it seems like all the members of the Owners family work their. Their was a kid around 7yrs who was cleaning the floor, his mother took our order, very warm and polite lady. They gave us a plate of complimentary beans and nachos plus 2 types of sauce red and green in a squeegee bottle. We ordered their:- Vegetable Torta: It was good, tasted nice after using the red sauce. Pambazo:- Its a torta but just more flavorful. Michelada:- It was nice and served in a big glass like the ones we had in Mexico. Overall, its a good place from food to service. As some have mentioned the food being bland, its true. I would suggest using those sauces that they give you on the side to spice the food up. Will be coming here again to try other items from the menu.

Small Mexican restaurant in a strip mall run by the sweetest family. Definitely has a homemade feel to everything, which is delicious! Reasonable prices and good portions. We arrived on the front end of dinner time and were seated immediately. Service was efficient and friendly. The drinks were good as were the complementary chips, salsa, and bean dip. The menu is extensive and included all the expected favorites. The food was plentiful and tasty. There was a soccer game on the TV and some music playing but the atmosphere was pleasant.

Hoping for some good Mexican food we decided to give this place a try. Upon entering there was a very strong odor of cleaning supplies, which is a good thing in terms of cleanliness it unfortunately lingered while eating. Maybe they can tone down that smell a bit for a more pleasant sit down experience. Menu has some items that I was pleasantly surprised to see like Pozole and mole as their specialty. I tried the mole chicken enchilada and found the mole to be flavorful, Also had the same enchilada with their green sauce and that too was very flavorful. Last was the same but with red sauce but that fell flat on taste unfortunately. As mentioned previously, the rice and beans were very small portions and neither one did much for my palate. If you are a chips and salsa person know they don't have salsa like you might see elsewhere, just a spicy red sauce or milder green sauce, both in squeeze bottles. Folks who served us were very nice. I walked away wishing it had pleased my palate more thus 3 stars.

What a gem! Cute little neighborhood restaurant with lovely service and fabulous food! The chile relleno was the best I've ever had. And my husband's mole was delicious...not too sweet as mole can be. It was fairly quiet for a Saturday night. Hopefully business picks up for them. We'll definitely be back soon!

The staff is super friendly and attentive. The mole was delicious, a little too dark for me but very good. The tostatas are super good, I would order them again. The carnitas were delicious too, I highly recommend. Overall a great place and I will go back without a doubt.

Went here with a few friends for a last minute dinner when everyone was feeling like trying something new. What a hidden gem! Prices were crazy low and the quality of food was amazing. Everyone was over the board with fajitas, tortas, bistec Al Mexicana, tacos, and an enchilada and no one had a bad thing to say. Everyone actually got very quiet when the food came which is not normal for that group. Definitely a spot to check out if you haven't yet.

The chicken nachos were fresh and delicious with lots of grilled chicken. My wife had great fish tacos with the fresh made hot salsa. The margarita was also tasty. Highly recommend Casa Del Mariachi. Will definitely go back.

I'm surprised I was the only person in there around noon on a Sunday. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE. Quaint and clean Mexican restaurant in a rather dilapidated strip mall, but don't judge a book by its cover! I had the burrito with pastor chicken and red sauce on top. Phenomenal, I can't wait to try the chili relleno and fajitas. Go now! Voy a regresar.

Honestly, I have only ordered one item from this restaurant but I like it so much, I keep on going back for more. The potato flautas are really good, as is the rice, beans, and salad that accompany them. The owners are very nice as well. The restaurant is in a strip mall and is a little dark, but I usually get takeout.

Disappointed A group of 4 people and one guy who ordered a burrito got their order before me. I only ordered 4 tacos and a coke. I saw them order after me. Maybe they looked hungrier than I did but I as pretty damn hungry. They all got their food before I did. First come isn't first served here

Not really sure how this place has such high reviews. The food does not seem to be authentic nor is it very tasty. I ordered posole and the broth had very little flavor other than salt. No chile or spice. The pork was extremely fatty and not trimmed well. My partners steak was flavored well but very tough. The black beans were soupy and the rice was crunchy. Overall not a 5-star experience.

I don't come here enough! Always super fresh, beautiful presentation and lots of flavor. Customer service like you are part of the family. I kept getting the mole (excellent) but went with chicken Sopes tonight, perfectly chewy and fresh. The burritos are the size of a small baby, and the tacos are just the way we like them - simple with cilantro, onions and lime. Everything travels well as takeout. Oh and thanks for the pen!

What a hidden gem. Tucked in a strip center but oh so good. Great food, great service, clean. My daughter had the potato flautas. Very good. I had a chicken quesadilla. Also yummy. When you sit down they give you chips and two kinds of salsas and warm bean dip. The red salsa was HOT and my daughter loved it. The green salsa was perfect for me...just the right amount of heat.

Tucked away far from the busy stretch of Roosevelt, lies this little gem. Family operated and authentic food. Delicious. If you haven't tried it go out of your way! It's worth it!

this place is amazing! fantastic food and service. i ordered the chicken burrito to go and my room mates and i liked it so much we went back the next day all together. that time i got the carne asada burrito and it was *chef's kiss*! highly recommend this spot, it's my new go to!!

The mole was amazing! The chips were perfectly salty and crunchy. And the service was attentive.

This checked all the boxes of what I needed tonight: large, delicious margaritas; salty and addicting chips and salsa; a festive atmosphere; delicious entrees! We got the fish tacos and chicken enchiladas verde and they were both great but the enchiladas in particular were more and more delicious with each bite. Will definitely be back!!!

Didn't look like much from the outside, in fact I drove by it so many times and now regret it. Absolutely AMAZING! We fell in love with the food, everything was so tasty! The staff was very attentive and friendly!

What a sweet little restaurant! We were in the area on an errand, and stopped in for a quick lunch. The owner was so kind and gracious! The food was delicious! It doesn't look like much on the outside, but clean and nicely decorated inside. Also, they start you off with a nice little bowl of chips and refried beans. My husband had the torta, he'd never had that before-he was very impressed.

i ain't gon hold you i was skeptical of a 5 star mexican restaurant in seattle because what do these granola wypipo know about mexican food but... it's gas. they was right. the pambazo especially oh my god that could've been the whole meal WOW what a restaurant

Great Mexican food! Not a lot of authentic options in Seattle. The food was delicious and the margs were tasty as well. Came on the Thursday night and the place was not very busy. Seems to be family run. Give it a try!

After recommendations from my neighbors, my partner and I got around to trying Casa Del Mariachi. The place was so cute and well-decorated... and the food was delicious! We got the chicharones, menudo, and nachos to start. As you can see, the nachos were more than enough for a party of four. (I'm eating the leftovers for breakfast as I type this.) I was also pretty excited that they have menudo on the menu every day! I wish there was hominy in it, but the flavors were excellent and there was plenty of stomach in it, so I can't complain. If you're looking for a delicious and reasonably-priced authentic Mexican restaurant, this is it!
