This is one of my favourite institutions in Porto! Their Sandos are next level, made using their in house smoked ham and funky local sheep/cow cheese. Cash only, with plenty of locals lining the bar. In house chilled red is banging and they serve vino verde at a great price! Decor is excellent, definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.

This was absolutely amazing! The pork was super tender and delicious and with the perfect amount of spice. I enjoyed the sandwich more than maybe any other meal in Porto! The sangria was also one of the best I’ve had. Our server was friendly and the service is super quick. I would definitely recommend!

Great local spot, traditional food & local prices; ham/presuntos specialists, good fun & great service! The younger guy is very friendly and speaks English well. NO seats, it’s standing only. Check the daily menu board there are some “different local dishes”all from pork. Had a great experience here, we only wish we found it sooner..Obrigado! 😊

Very nice mom and pop shop. You can tell from the pictures they been here for quite some time. It's very much a neighborhood place, right across the police station. Without speaking a word of English they really did their best to accommodate us. Too bad the warm dishes are only available in the afternoon. I went early to beat the lunch traffic. Ordered a Sande de Presunto com Queijo with a bowl of Vinho Verde tinto (yes, it came in a small bowl). Also had a beer and added a Sande de Morcella to pair with it. 😋 Definitely a recommend. It's very cheap and true quality.

Large selection of smokey prosciutto and homemade sausages, and the bread is very crisp and airy. The owner doesn’t speak English but he’s very sweet and tries to be as accommodating as he can. Been here three times already and will come back again before the end of my trip!

Great place to have an authentic Portuguese meal. Not suitable for vegans at all. Vegetarians may enjoy a heavenly cheese toasty. Sinners welcome to eat the “hammier” sandwich of all times at Xico’s. Closed on Sundays: what a bummer!

Had the classic prosciutto sandwich, a bit too much meat for my liking but great product for the price, it's simple and the meat isn't too "beasty" of a flavor for those who aren't a fan of a more intense taste.

The real deal!!! Authentic. Filled with locals. Outstanding presunto, house wines. Very reasonably priced.
