Casa El Paraíso

Can’t recommend this hotel enough. As long as you can be comfortable sleeping with and around bugs. There is a bug net as part of the room to sleep under. Also the restroom/toilet is practically in the same room as the bedroom. We did visit in May and it was warm at times. May be too hot in peak of summertime. Amenities are amazing. They also have animals that live there. Parrots, flamingos, parakeets which was very cool. Included free breakfast was great. We also did the upcharge dinner with the chef. We highly recommend that experience. One of the best tasting dinners we’ve ever had.

Unique views, feel the Caribbean breeze in first line. Romantic environment for just few lucky people who knows about this paradise. Chef Milco would make delicious food almost as you desire. Ana will receive you and a provide yoga clases.

Casa El Paraíso it's JUST AMAZING !everything is super clean (considering that you are in the jungle) the staff is super friendly and accommodating. We spend there 3 beautiful night. The commons areas ( swimming pool, Jacuzzi,and sauna ) are way more beautiful than the pictures! Ana and Chef Mirko made our stay memorable. The Owner Raul it's a beautiful soul , from the moment we walked in he really showed that he love his job, and really care about his guests!!( we travel a lot and this is not very common). It is an excellent place with an amazing location in Las Galeras, extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ana and great food was prepared by chef Milko. They made our trip more interesting with their services & tips about where to go, I would recommend Casa Paraiso to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Where to start off with describing to you this amazing and gorgeous hidden gem??? We drove from Santiago - 4 hours away to Casa Paraíso. I wanted to visit Playa Rincón and other places and didn’t want to be rushed so decided to stay in Samaná and that’s how I chose Casa Paraíso. The convenience of being close to Playa Rincón- La Playita - Playa Madame amongst other beautiful places to explore. That aspect of location played a part but most importantly the pictures of Casa Paraíso. I knew the pictures didn’t do it any justice and boy was I correct. Don’t be discouraged by the bit of road getting up to Casa Paraíso that’s not so smooth. Once you cross the security gate into the complex of Casa Paraíso the few bumps on the road will be forgotten. It’s like a whole new world you have just stepped into. It looks like a tropical jungle as you’re walking further into the complex. Once we reached the kitchen/sitting common area we were greeted by Tony. He gave us a tour of the place. He had a difficult time getting me to stop taking pictures of the view. Everywhere you go you want to take pictures to capture the simplicity and beauty of the place. Once is our rooms- we had room#2 and room#5- Africa. They were both awesome rooms with stupendous views of the ocean and mountains. I couldn’t take enough pictures and videos. At night it felt as if we were camping. It had a magical feel to it which it’s difficult to explain - with the open space and the stars and sounds of the crickets. I had made reservations with Mirko for dinner that same night. What a wonderful feast he prepared for us. We had the surf and turf meal. A lot of attention to every detail of our dinner on his part and his assistants were very attentive. The experience of having such yummy and delicious dinner over looking such wonderful scenery was truly superb. Waking up in the morning to the view of our open window was one of my favorite parts of our stay. My mom said that she felt she was waking up with the ocean at her feet as her room open space overlooked mainly the ocean. I could go on and on about our wonderful stay at this hidden gem in Samaná but it’s one that not all the words can describe nor can pictures. You just have to go yourself and experience it. Thank you all at Casa Paraíso for such splendid customer service and attention to the most minimal detail during our stay. Thank you Mirko for cooking our super yummy dinner and for being such a great friendly host. Made us feel as if we were home. You’re awesome 😎

Oh dear, so sad to leave after three glorious days.|We had the room Africa (number 5) and spent hours and hours just sitting and watching, Whales frequently out in the bay entertaining us and lots of birds in the trees and bushes in front of the room.|Very comfy and well equipped. The in room jacuzzi was perfect for an afternoon relax.|Breakfast and dinner were great. Chef Mirko does some wonderful food. His roast Octopus was exceptional and worthy of any restaurant in the world.|Do note that there is no lunch and you need to bring food in with you (we popped out to a shop in a taxi which was easy to arrange).
