The 11 Best Beach Towns in the South of France for Foodies

"Across the street from Mirazur, the informal spot channels Argentinian family-style cooking, with wood-fire grilled asado beef and free-range chicken cooked in embers, plus Mediterranean specials like barbecued fish and Ligurian pasta." - Lanie Goodman

"Just opposite Mauro Colagreco's flagship restaurant, this is the Italian-Argentine chef's hacienda-style Argentinian grill, which has a large covered terrace overlooking the sea, the town and the harbour. You are completely transported by this typically Argentine open-flame cooking, which here is well executed and so delicious, with its smoky aromas: empanadas, octopus a la plancha, beef picanha to share, dulce de leche flan. A masterclass in gourmet conviviality." - Michelin Inspector

I wanted to love it but the service was not great. We had to find our waiter most of the time. She forgot my mother in law’s wine. Our steak was cooked medium rare but it was chewy and did not seem quality. Unfortunately, it’s not what I expected. We love Argentinian food, love Mirazur and live in the neighborhood. I guess I thought this would have been a better experience.

We came here hoping for a nice quality steak but were disappointed. The service was poor and the cote de boeuf came out cold. The meat was low quality and had lots of gristle and sinew. The waitress was polite but i don’t think she believed us when we said the food was poor. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend or return.

Mystic location with a great view and ambiance. The meat and wine were excellent, and the veal schnitzel was amazing. My favorite dish was Parmigiana, you have to try that one. The starters were good, but not as impressive as the main course. For dessert, we had flan, and it was just wow.

Arrived here with high expectations and ended up quite disappointed. The head waitress (tall older woman) seems to have attitude problems. Quite rude in her mannerisms and we just didn’t want to interact with her anymore after the initial exchange. Food is decent. Started off with Carpaccio and also had Gnocchi and Tortellini. Loved the Carpaccio. I don’t think I’d recommend this anyone or come back.

Poor quality meat. the taste and consistency meat were bad. In addition when we informed the waiters about the disappoint they didn't accepted the feedback and tried to justified themself without understand the customer unsatifaction. They should learn more about this field. Good luck.

Good place to eat meat from different origins with an Argentinian touch. Service was great. They prepare some dishes in front of you like the tartar. Wine selection is very well too. Recommended.

The worst crème brûlée I’ve ever had in my entire life, including from a grocery store. The rest of the dishes were average and not worth the price. Service was friendly and saved the experience from being 1 or 2 stars.

Delicious food, a beautiful seaside view, and excellent service.
