Soup and calamari were excellent. The mushroom risotto was disappointing. No truffle taste at all although menu descriptions mentioned it.

Super charming Italian spot! Came here for an early lunch with a friend one random Saturday and couldn't have been more pleased with our church! Delicious home made pasta - I got the pasta special, which was a spinach pasta with a light sauce with cherry tomatoes. Perfectly balanced flavors. Also very filling, especially after the warm bread and butter, so we did not have room for dessert, but I definitely want to come back and try the sweets menu! We sat at a booth, but there was plenty of seating, including additional seating that I didn't get a picture of since we just stayed at the front. Would definitely be able to accommodate a group. Wonderful service as well. Would recommend for families as well as couples looking for a romantic spot to get away. It's a lovely space.

This place is a gem. The service was fantastic, the food came out quickly, and was delicious. Very good recommendations from our server. The atmosphere is warm and inviting while also feeling very well put together. I can here for a first date and we both had an amazing time. Also the owner drives a CitiCar which he proudly parks out front (as he should!) need I say more??

Google
The food was just OK. Nothing special. We were seated after a couple minutes wait by someone on the phone taking another order who then handed us off to another waiter so she could take a break. I don't think we will go back. On a good note, the waiter that took over was very attentive.

Google
YUM!!! this place is incredible! the bread was soft on the inside with a great crunch, the portions were huge, and the pasta was fresh! service was attentive and friendly. the eggplant parm was out of this world, as was the sausage ravioli and the cheese tortellini. i want to come back and try the entire menu! couldn’t recommend enough!

Definitely worth the drive from Virginia Beach. We were a party of 16 and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. Great food, service and overall vibe.

Our reservations were at 6 pm. We were promptly seated. The server brought our water quickly and took the drink order promptly. We received the bread approximately 20 minutes after we were seated. Our appetizers were served after approximately an hour. The food was very good. My friend ordered a Cobb salad. I ordered asparagus and mushroom with polenta drizzled with balsamic vinegar. We were pleased with the meal. The server was very friendly. We didn't receive an explanation about the delay receiving our appetizers. There is a ~3 .5% upcharge for using a credit card.

Google
Wow! My wife and I visited here for dinner in November 2023 for the first time. We had a great course style dinner including appetizers and dessert. On top of that they provide you with a hot bread starter and side salad with entrees. They provide butter, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and chili oil as condiments to dip with your bread. Food and service were both great. As for the entree quality nothing was too salty or too sweet.. just balanced really well. Pictured are our appetizers, side salads, entrees and dessert. Yelp
Came here for some Italian food and I ended up ordering the Shrimp scampi($24) and cesear salad (+$2). The complimentary bread was a bit mid. The food came out in about 20+ minutes. It looked very appealing and the flavors were quite solid. The noodles were cooked to an al dente and the sauce was light, however it needed some citrus to up it. The shrimp was flavorful but could have more than 5 pieces. The portion size was good, enough to have about half a meal worth of leftover. Staff was friendly, lighting was a little dim inside (probably because of the fancy vibes). Overall it was a pretty good experience for Italian food, I would come back again! Food(50%): 7.5 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 6.5 Overall: 7.2/10

Yelp
Order delivered by Grub-hub but instead of continuing through Yelp app I opted to go directly to Grubhub to make sure my prime membership is validated and delivery fees waived. The order arrived in great shape and pretty fast. I order the pappardelle and grilled octopus. The pasta came with a salad and rolls. I am a fan of pappardelle and always in search of a great one that duplicates my experience overseas. The pappardelle came in a sausage ragu sauce which has a little kick to it. It's meaty and tasty! The pasta itself is not as al dente as I'd like and it has a taste/smell that reminded me inside of my fridge... it certainly didn't say it's handmade or anything but I have a hard time getting over that smell. Could just be me. And I love grilled octopus! It was very tender and great tasting. It's a bit awkward though because it's an appetizer but priced like a main course while the portion is big enough (lots of beans) to be an entree. And in comparison to the pasta, just a dollar more, can be two meals... ahhhhh the American dreams! I think the food is in high quality. Hopefully I will get a chance to visit the establishment in person one day.

Yelp
TLDR; solid, reasonably priced Italian food Vibe - this isn't the restaurant if ambiance and aesthetics are important for your experience. It seems like it's supposed to be fancy but the decorations are a bit off for that. The lighting is extremely low for lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty. Service - our waitress was kind, personable and prompt. She gave honest recommendations which I value. Food - the food was good enough to make the rotation when we're craving Italian food but not stand out enough for me to recommend it to someone else. Octopus appetizer was disappointing and didn't feel worth the $19 price tag :( mainly because our waitress said it's her favorite app and others on Yelp mentioned it as well. The octopus was good but the char made it taste burnt and the beans were underwhelming. Lasagna was delicious, good portion size, but a bit light on meat. Pappardelle with Sausage Ragu had a nice surprising flavor and large portion.

Yelp
Casa Italiana was one of the first restaurants I came to in the Richmond area back in 2020. I was here for a job interview, staying at a local hotel, and needed somewhere to eat late in the evening. Despite being within 20 minutes of closing, they graciously served me a wonderful meal that I was looking forward to replicating again. Fast forward to 2024, I took my fiancé here for dinner. Hoping the octopus appetizer was still on the menu (it was), I was also looking forward for something a bit different as well. Despite not having reservations, we were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter. The decor and ambiance are inviting as is the italian music that's playing through the speakers. Not too loud, and certainly makes for a nice experience. We were served our drinks and placed our order. I chose the chicken piccata and she opted for the seafood risotto. We also ordered the Octopus appetizer which was well made and quite tasty. Salads arrived full and fresh. Nicely made. We were also served some house-made bread with real butter that made for a nice accompaniment. Finishing our salads, our waiter returned within a couple of minutes with our meals. The chicken piccata was stacked over a bed of spaghetti with buttery wine sauce and capers. Her risotto was well decorated with a variety of seafood including mussels, shrimp, squid, and had fairly creamy texture, but the rice still had a bit of a bite to it and the dish could have been a bit more creamy. Still, the flavors were quite good. My chicken tasted okay, but was a bit tough in areas and a bit bland. What really stood out was our waiter. He was the epitome of what I would consider to be professional, prompt, and courteous. Definitely someone who has the caliber to be providing service in a more upscale establishment. He definitely made up where the meal fell slightly short. They are fortunate to have him. I would recommend Casa Italiana for its diversity in meal options, excellent service, and nice ambiance. I will definitely be coming back to try some of their other options!

Yelp
Split a handmade pizza for lunch - perfect size for 2 ladies! Toppings were fresh and spread out perfectly. Thin crust. Love it when your meal is effortless and yummy!

Yelp
When this spot was suggested for dinner, I was skeptical, but went along with the choice in the spirit of trying something new. First off, the fung shui of the place is off, beginning with the entry point. Walk to the side that faces Three Chopt, and when you enter, even that space seems strange. If you end up having to go to the restroom, you'll see a whole other side to the restaurant that you didn't know existed. Feng shui aside, the food is mediocre. We tried the calamari appetizer, which was okay. Nothing special. I got the salmon over spinach risotto. He got the seafood pasta. My salmon was overcooked. The spinach was undercooked and all stems. Everything needed salt (even the calamari). His seafood pasta was also overcooked. Calamari was rubbery. Everything LOOKED good, but taste-wise, was subpar. I'm sorry to say that the best part of this meal was the complimentary bread. Service was fine, but a little strange. Seemed too practiced and inauthentic. A metaphor for the entire experience. This place feels like your grandparents' Italian. You might like it if you haven't had really great Italian and nothing to compare it to. Three stars is generous, but I'll stick to that for the entire experience. Food-wise, it's a solid 2.

Yelp
I recently visited Casa Italiana for a friend's birthday dinner and it was a decent experience. It was a 8 of us in our party and the waitress did a good job with keeping everything flowing nicely. It was my first time there and was looking forward to trying it out. We all ordered drinks and I had a limoncello martini and it was tasty. For appetizers we had fried calamari and homemade fried mozzarella. Both were really good. For my entree I had the jumbo shrimp scampi and it was made with linguine in which I love but the pasta was a little overcooked and the scampi itself was very bland. It was still edible however. It came with a house side salad which we all upgraded to Caesar salad instead. The salad was very lackluster. Everyone in our party seemed to like the food somewhat but there wasn't any delicious comments floating around either lol. All in all it's a nice restaurant to visit for a dinner party. The only thing missing was music!

Yelp
My visit to Casa Italiana was a nice one. With a dimly lit aesthetic and rather quiet ambiance (at first), my husband and I enjoyed the setting. The waitress brought us a glass of water and freshly baked bread with butter, which my husband and I enjoyed. However, the butter was a bit crumbly, almost as if it had been frozen, which made spreading it on the bread a bit troublesome. Other than that, I ordered the chicken parmesan, which was a fairly good dish, but didn't have a "wow" factor for me. It tasted like what you'd expect a chicken parmesan to taste like, with slightly less seasoning. Moving along, my husband ordered the Carbonara and Fried mozzarella. The Carbonara was good as well, a little too much food, but who's complaining about that? The flavors were light on the carbonara, but that made it easier to digest. The perfect amount of parmesan was the icing on top of the Carbonara. The fried mozzarella was great, no complaints! We enjoyed our time at Casa Italiana. It seems to get pretty active towards dinner time, so if you're a mellow diner like us, I'd recommend getting a seat just before 4 pm.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner. Not a busy night but service was a little slow. It took our server 10 minutes to come give us water. We ordered everything at once and our food came out as ordered, fresh and hot.

Yelp
Casa Italiana is my go-to for Italian food in RVA! The ambience is very calming and mild. I've never had a bad dish here. My favorite go to items are the fried mozzarella, Cesar salad with anchovies, casa meatball, chicken Parmesan, and chicken Alfredo with spinach and sun dried tomatoes (added). Every dish is authentic and made fresh to order. The homemade rolls are also very filling and dangerous because you can't just eat one! The servers are very knowledgeable and always have great recommendations. They are also very attentive and customer service driven. Whenever I have taste for Italian I doordash it go to Casa Italiana!
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I love Casa Italiana! We go here when we've attended shows in Richmond. The chicken parmigiana is flavorful and plentiful while the spinach risotto with salmon is tasty and healthy. The service is always cordial and prompt. The restaurant transports you to a small restaurant in Italy. Highly recommended!

Yelp
They bring out delicious bread to have while you are looking over the menu to order. Just overhead different server at another table list the specials for tonight. I would have liked our server to let us know there were specials. Our salads were good. The dressing was served on the side. I left over most of my salad and the server offered to pack it up for us. With the delicious balsamic dressing the bone in veal is on a bed of spinach. The gnocchi on the side is delicious. I finished all the gnocchi but left over lots of the veal and spinach I did eat the bone so we wouldn't need to take that home. Finished with a shared dessert. Spouse did not enjoy the risotto. The salmon was a tasty piece. Dessert is delicious.

Yelp
We like that their dining area is separate from the bar. Nice ambiance for a local and casual restaurant. It's nice that they offer a few house selections for vino each priced at $32. We figured we'd give it a try so we ordered the House Pinot Noir from USA. They brought us and opened the house pinot noir from Italy instead (retails for $3 per bottle) which we sent back. Either they were being cheeky trying to get nearly a 10x margin or they made a mistake grossly in their favor. Left a bad impression. But at least they fixed the mistake after we politely raised it to their attention. According to the menu, our entrees came with a house salad but our waitress said our entrees came with either a house salad, caesar, or soup. So, we both choose caesar and later found out there's an up-charge for that. Cheeky of the waitress. If there's an up-charge then it doesn't "come with". Little surprises like that that leave a bad impression. That said, the caesar salad was good. The entrees were meh. We agree with the other reviewers who said the food is meh and def overpriced.

Yelp
Four of us went here for dinner on a Friday evening. The restaurant is located in a small shopping area so there is adequate parking for it. There is also indoor and outdoor seating available. We got there and even though it was fairly busy, we got seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and did a good job. We had an appetizer of fried green tomatoes, which I was the only one that like them.. LOL and a plate bread with some cheese and sauce. We ordered a mix of entrees... lasagna, a dish of seafood pasta with red sauce and grilled chicken caesar salads. the waitress told us that all of the pasta and sauces are made on site. The food come out fast and it was hot. I believe that the seafood pasta dish as the best of the 3 we got.

Yelp
never went to a restaurant and had to pay for food I couldn't eat. while ordering wine I clearly told my waiter that I wanted something with a white sauce because I can't have tomato I ordered a risotto which I thought typically is white. the seafood was either under or over cooked. the manger made me pay half and I ordered another dish. both sauces were bland and the rice in the riscotto was crunchy. I choked on a tough pieve of squid and wanted to cry. my waiter was nice but the manager was more concerned about her bottomline than customer satisfaction. I thought my waiter was being nice creating me a lil oil mixture and vignette blend only to see a $3 upcharge. never again.

Yelp
The Penne Bolognese tasted like canned Chef Boyardee; I'm Italian and this was a total waste of money! I'll never return nor recommend this joke of an Italian restaurant. Get a better cook book

Yelp
The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious and true authentic Italian food. The service was incredible and the restaurant was clean and perfect. The lasagna was amazing

Yelp
We came here twice and found we definitely have dishes we favor. The calamari was "excellent" according to my family. The lasagna was by far the best meal. The seafood pasta was good. We were not a fan of the carbonara or the meatball appetizer (very dense). We ordered a few other dishes but nothing we would recommend. The chocolate cake was dry. The drinks were great and sized well. The first time our server was kind, but hard to grab. She was clearly working hard doing other things though so we understood. The second time our waitress was great.

Jan S.

Yelp
I really would like to give them 5 stars, but their lack of having their signature dish is disappointing. How is your signature dish never available. Take it off the menu or buy a damn wheel of cheese. We have driven there twice in the last two months and the dish is not available. One begins to wonder if they have changed ownership/or management. I will give our waiter Ali five stars he is awesome. PS. I will buy a wheel of cheese for you if that is what it will take to eat this dish again.

Yelp
Amazing lasagna- also had the fried mozzarella and eggplant off the appetizers. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
After our third visit to Casa Italiana, we could no longer hold back on sharing our honest thoughts about our experience here, particularly with the owner and staff. Our first visit was extremely enjoyable, with a wonderful server who was polite, professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed what we ordered, despite being slightly disappointed to learn that the pasta dish prepared in the cheese wheel, was only available on nights when the owner was there to prepare it. This gave us pause, as we have had this dish before at a restaurant in Northern Virginia, where every waiter on staff knew how to prepare it. It is not overly complicated in its preparation, so it seems very odd for the owner to not teach the entire waitstaff how to prepare the dish. Therefore, on our second visit, we made sure to call beforehand and ask if the owner was there so we could order the cheese wheel pasta. While she was there and did make it for us, it was not the presentation that we were promised by our waiter, which is one of the cool things about ordering this dish. They are supposed to roll the cheese wheel out on a table and cook it right in front of you, making it a fun and entertaining experience, one that gets your mouth watering and excited to eat what's being prepared in front of you. Instead, the owner was across the restaurant at a small table, preparing the dish, with her back to us so we couldn't see a thing as she prepared it. She then brought the dish over and plopped it on the table, no different than if it had just been brought back from the kitchen. Not remotely the experience we were expecting. The dish was also just sub par, and not getting to see how it was prepared, we had no idea what had gone into it and why it lacked the cheesy, creamy deliciousness like the one we had in Dulles, Virginia. So we shared our experience with the owner and told her how much we had enjoyed the one in Northern Virginia, hoping that maybe next time, if we came back and tried it again, it might be more like what we had experienced there. We specifically knew that we had family coming into town in the coming weeks, and that we might like to bring them there for dinner to try the cheese wheel pasta. We asked the owner if she would be there on a specific date, to which she told us she would be, and we then made a reservation to come back on that date. That date was this past Saturday. When we arrived for our reservation, the owner was behind the bar, and abruptly came over and told us she would not be making the cheese wheel pasta because she had to work behind the bar. She was rude, unapologetic, and then seated us in the corner in the bar area, instead of the larger dining area upstairs, when we had a reservation, and had a larger party with our out of town guests. We reiterated that the whole reason we came that night was because we were told she would be there and could make the pasta dish with the full experience of the prep and presentation, but she just flatly said she could not do it and there were plenty of other good items on the menu. We then even reminded her that we had specifically brought our out of town guests in to try that specific dish, yet she still refused. If it hadn't been almost 8pm, we would have left and gone somewhere else. Our server was also pretty abrupt and flat, not friendly and engaging like the server we had on our first visit. The food was just mediocre, and after this experience, we will not return. This restaurant is overly hyped and the attitude of the owner is arrogant and rude, falling very short of the high quality experience they claim to deliver. The interior space lacks ambiance and is in major need of an overhaul, with the leather booth and seats old, worn and badly peeling. The food is not so amazing that you can overlook all these things. You can get good Italian food at many other places in the area. I know we will not be back and will tell others of our experience here and suggest they go elsewhere.

Yelp
If you are craving Italian you should check this spot out. The meals were well cooked but I have had better. Don't get me wrong the meals satiated my needs. The service was excellent. Our waitress was kind and had a very positive outlook on life which was refreshing. The ambiance was the main attraction for me. It truly felt like home and the music that as playing in the back complemented the modern style of the interior design. Overall we enjoyed our experience du to a combination of multiple factors.

Yelp
Came here per a coworker's recommendation and couldn't have been more impressed! It was a fairly quiet night and my group really enjoyed ourselves; it was the first time here for me and my friends, so the server gave us a great explanation about how all of the food that can be is homemade and super fresh! We started with some drinks and warm bread that were both super delicious. I had the house salad, however, my friends raved about their caesar salads being the best caesars they've had in a while. Each of us really enjoyed our entrées as well, and as a bonus, everything was paced out nicely so we weren't rushing to finish or getting hungry waiting on the next item to come out. Overall, we had a great time, the serving team was super friendly and accommodating, and we would love to come back!

Yelp
I'm not sure if we came on an off day because I've heard such great things. The fried mozzarella was delicious. The sauce for our pastas weren't as creamy or thick as I would have expected - a little on the watery side. We also had trouble with service. I'd be open to coming and trying it out again. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.

Vicki G.

Yelp
Great food, excellent service, and quiet atmosphere. A true Italian restaurant. We always enjoy our visit.

Dennis S.

Yelp
Waiter was aggressive, game right out the gates by asking what I wanted for an appetizer only 1 minute into looking at the menu. I had asked for her opinion on the risotto. Her answer was straight forward, wonderful and amazing. I thought that was a self explanatory purchase as she was so settled on her answer. When the risotto came out it was just sub par. When she asked for opinion I said it was just alright. Then to my surprise she said yeah it's just alright, because you got the one with plain tomato sauce. This of course is after I asked for her opinion and her answer was wonderful and amazing. So that's where the predicament was. Is it wonderful and amazing or just alright. Waste of $30 I will not be coming back.

Nithin S.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance were good. Ordered the braised beef ravioli which was solid. Gnocchi was also pretty tasty.

My go to place for wonderful food, wonderful Chianti and kind warm welcoming service. No other place can equal Casa Italiana. Thank you for all you do!

Yelp
Massive portions, a broad selection of traditional Italian dishes and top notch service all at a good price.

Wael D.

Yelp
Don't know how I haven't reviewed this place yet. This is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Everybody that I've introduced to this place has also fallen in love. Pasta is always cooked Al dente and the sauces are simple but pack a lot of flavor, exactly how traditional Italian recipes should be. Everything I have tried here has been really good, from the salads, to the main course, to dessert. Had the pleasure of meeting the chef and getting to walk through the kitchen with him and everything was clean and immaculate. The pasta maker here was imported straight from Italy so your pasta is made the same day the way pasta is supposed to be served. I highly recommend this place for anybody looking for good traditional Italian dishes. And don't you dare leave without trying the tiramisu.

Yelp
First & foremost the service was second to none. We had an opportunity to meet the manager & she couldn't have had better hospitality. The food was authentic & the ambiance was terrific. Of all the Italian restaurants I've gone to in the area this one definitely has to be the best. To put the cherry on top, they have home made mozzarella + gluten free pasta which was out of this world!

Yelp
I ate at this place on Thursday for lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and it was delicious. The portion was more than lunch size, and I definitely was not disappointed. They didn't have a lot of soft drinks to choose from, and I wanted a sweet tea, but they didn't have it. The waiter said they had unsweetened tea and she could give me some Splenda. Other than the drink issue, everything was good. Service was good and the environment was clean and quiet.

Makailah L.

Yelp
First and last time at this restaurant. I came in tonight as an avid Italian food and wine lover with a group of friends. Food was good, but service was horrible. I spoke with a short-haired blonde woman about some jaw-dropping moments during our service. I'm not sure what if anything will be done about it. Good luck on your next visit.

Yelp
Food was very well presented. The way the food tasted brought a smile for every bite. I ordered too much but yet I managed to enjoy every bite. I did surrender and missed out on the dessert.

Yelp
First time visiting since I moved back to Richmond from Houston. We went for an early birthday dinner. It was just such an enjoyable, relaxing experience. Our service was exceptional and our meals were heavenly. Mom had her favorite lasagna, I opted for carbonara. House salads were substantial and fresh. Both dishes were delicious and homemade tasting. This is such a lovely restaurant.

Great family owned Italian restaurant. Amazing food, quality service, cleanliness and beautiful restaurant.

Yelp

Yelp
One of the most authentic and humbly delicious Italian food sources in the entire city, and definitely top three on the West End. Try for yourself. You won't be upset. Forget about it.

Yelp
On Saturday, 9/21, my husband and I were joined by very good friends who were celebrating their 40th anniversary. I mentioned this in the special request section when I made the reservation. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a sweet "So who is celebrating their 40th? Congratulations!" From that point, the service continued to be completely professional friendly! The only problem we had was OUR problem. I did not make the reservation early enough for us to be able to have our lovely dinners and then go onto our show at 7 o'clock. We were your worst customers! It was not fair of us to ask "when will salads be out?" Or "When may we expect our entrées. ?" It was our fault for timing it wrong. We were very excited to take our friends here for their 40th because we knew it would be an excellent experience. We ordered chicken piccata, chicken Parmesan, chicken marsala, and veal saltimbucco. Everything was delicious, plentiful, and well presented. Joe, our server, was very patient with us. He made an excellent wine recommendation as well. We had to take half of our meals home and we enjoyed them the next day. I want to apologize to the staff for our poor choice of timing. We do enjoy Casa Italiana and we will be back!

Yelp
I'm really loving this place. I've been for lunch and dinner. The shrimp scampi is the most savory and delicious I've ever had. I world order it even without shrimp, the pasta is so good. The lasagna is also very flavorful and delicious. The service was amazing, our server had good knowledge of wines and helped with recommendations, testing and testing. They also make everything from scratch, including the pasta.

Yelp
Great food; excellent, attentive service; nice quiet atmosphere. Been here before. Will come again

Yelp
Wow, so good! From when we got there until we left service was phenomenal. Tobias took extremely good care of us and Kristi was incredible!! The staff is so friendly and they take time to explain everything. The food was VERY good, from the salad and soups to our main dish and even put down some dessert! I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. All the pasta are made in house!!!!!

Yelp
I would have loved to experience this restaurant. I saw all the great reviews and a few videos on tiktok. I was taking my partner out for Father's Day dinner. I saw they closed at 9pm, so i figured a 715 arrival would be ok. We parked and went inside. The server asked us if we were ordering takeout, I said no, just dining in for 2. She said they don't seat tables after 7. This was nowhere listed on their website that i could find. If you are taking to-go orders why not seat a table? We are from out of town and had the whole weekend planned out. Super bummed about this. The restaurant looked really nice inside and the pics of the food looked fantastic.

Yelp
It's overpriced and not great. Not a very good variety on the menu. Enjoyed the fresh bread they offered.

Yelp
Valentine's Day! I booked reservations a month in advance. I found this place free styling on Yelp. My wife was excited too. I'll also note that this was roughly an hour ride for us. We came in, immediately greeted, reservations for 5:30 and sat. Atmosphere: Clean, nice flow, a little dim on the lighting. Had to bust out the lights on the cell phones to see the menu. The place was already full so table service was slow as a result. We were sat at a two top table that was slightly crowded. Glasses, fresh cut flowers in a small vase, side plates, silverware, glass bottle of water and a bread basket. All atop of a slightly wobbly table. My wife and I took turns keeping a foot on one of the legs to steady it. Lol The food. First off, they had a Specials menu that we saw and didn't even know until the people next to us were discussing it. That was a bummer. So off the regular menu... The Bruschetta appetizer was the highlight of the meal. Very well balanced and delicious. It was a challenge to find a spot for it on our table to share. Basically, I had it in front of me and I served my wife. We still managed it. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with a house salad. I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a Caesar salad. The entrees took about 40 minutes to come out. Now, my wife only got 3-4 bites of her pasta before she came across an unwanted foreign object. I quickly flagged down our server, he immediately took her plate, said, "I'm so sorry for that", and vanished to the kitchen. Roughly seven minutes later he reappeared with a new dish. We both said it was strange that the renewed entree wasn't brought by a manager. But I digress. My wife gives her pasta 2/5 score and my Marsala gets a 4/5. When asked about dessert we took a look at the menu for several minutes and decided the additional wait wasn't worth it. Service: I don't recall our servers name. My observation was he was in the weeds/overwhelmed. Other than bringing us our bread, we had to flag him down for our refills. He never once asked us how our meal was; even after the redo for my wife. Had he been more attentive we would have ordered dessert. I had my eye on the Lemon cake. Oh well. Overall: I am glad we tried it, but we will not likely be back. They seem to have a lot of local popularity so I'm sure they'll do fine without us. Check them out if you like. Happy Valentines Day!

Yelp
NEVER COME HERE first, they double booked us and moved our reservation up 30 mins, which is fine but it's the service that put the final nail in the coffin. when we got there, we were barely given time to look at the menu. They didn't take our drink orders and they told us " y'all need to know what you want, we have other groups coming in." When the food came out, they brought out two dishes we didn't order. We tried to tell her that we didn't order that she insisted, and kept harshly telling us that we did order it, and we need to figure out who. Later another waiter came out telling our waitress that those two plates were another table. Our waitress just laughed and walked away. After we were rushed to put in our food, our waitress ignored us until we asked for the check. I think our waiters behavior was rude and she acted like this because gratuity was included so she didn't feel the need to have good customer service. So rude, they forced us out. DON'T COME HERE!!!
