20 Hotels On Sale for the Summer

"The days when Laguna Beach was an undiscovered hideaway or a sleepy little artists’ colony are some years in the past. But they’re not so far out of reach that the right hotel can’t recapture a bit of the vibe. Casa Laguna does just that." - MICHELIN Guide

"Casa Laguna is adults-only, double occupancy only, and thus more or less purpose-built for a couples getaway. The accommodations, from rooms to suites to the cottage, are cozy but not kitschy, comfort reigns supreme, and there’s a certain understated elegance, without ever lapsing into design theatrics." - MICHELIN Guide

"Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa Why we love it: A historic property teeming with rich, Moorish style The Highlights: - Iconic architecture and bold interior design - A serene pool area surrounded by lush greenery - A focus on sustainability, with low-energy lighting and water-efficient landscaping The Review: Built by Frank Miller and Arthur Benton in the early 1900s, this regal stone building presides over Laguna Beach, echoing the area’s Spanish Mission roots with white stucco, red terra-cotta roof tiles, secret turrets, and spacious patios. Inside, renowned interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard enhanced the castle-like structure with hand-painted furniture, Moorish tiles and lanterns, and wainscoting worthy of a Marrakech palace, giving the hotel a bohemian vibe. He also added softer notes like oxblood-leather armchairs and cerulean velvet couches that echo the blue of the Pacific below. Despite being a registered historic structure, Casa Laguna became the area’s first hotel to receive the Green Eco-Leaf rating fromiStayGreen.org. Its sustainable initiatives range from bulk amenities and soaps to low-energy lighting and water-efficient landscaping. The 23 suites all feature custom marble vanities, handcrafted natural fiber mattresses, and Martyn Lawrence Bullard fabrics and wallpapers. Expect beautiful attention to detail at every turn, from Dean & DeLuca snacks to Cowshed amenities made famous by the spa in Somerset, England. If you’re visiting for a special occasion, book the Bungalow, a freestanding, 600-square-foot sanctuary that offers ocean views from the living room and jetted clawfoot tub. It also has a large private balcony with a hammock for two. When not relaxing in their rooms, guests can enjoy a complimentary European-style breakfast as well as Mediterranean small plates throughout the day, all of which are available in the lobby, by the pool, or packed up for a picnic on the beach. There’s also an intimate spa with an outdoor area, where you can enjoy ocean views from the soaking tub before indulging in a hot stone massage."

Casa Laguna is a wonderful retreat. It was actually recommended by ChatGPT and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was accommodating and the environment was so relaxing! We had an incredible view of the Pacific Coast Highway and Pacific Ocean beyond that. The spa was wonderful. We had a couples massage while we stayed. It was so relaxing. The staff was professional and we felt so relaxed when we had a private couples soak overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

This place is a gem! We loved everything. The pool is heated nicely and has great vibes with cool music and seating (champagne too!). |My room was small but very comfortable in the bed was amazing! Very nice ocean views although you get some noise from PCH. |We absolutely loved the breakfast with coffee and mimosas, and the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! And we enjoyed the sauna at the end of our day. |Every staff person we encountered was very nice and accommodating. |We would definitely return and have been telling our friends about it. Such a serene and dreamy getaway without the kids, even for one night!|The only thing missing to seal the deal is a hot tub!

Such a beautiful property and amazing staff!! We had some minor issues but Jordan (General Manager) was quick to fix and made things right. The complementary breakfast was very good with a few smaller but delicious options. Loved the pool and views. This is great for a weekend getaway and will definitely return!

We just returned from an incredibly enjoyable stay at Casa Laguna. The hotel grounds have beautiful landscaping and a million and one charming decorative touches that make the property magical. The views are incredible from the pool as well as the cottage #20. We were checking in by Cory who could not have been nicer. The room itself was extremely charming and had a huge soaking tub and private patio. The bed was very comfortable and pillows, linens, soaps, wash etc were really great quality. There is food and drink service at the pool which was actually too good for a quick snack menu.. the avocado toast was the best and the burrata salad had delicious heirloom tomatoes. Kent is the man with local knowledge who can recommend a great restaurant whatever cuisine and vibe you happen to be in the mood for. Overall the entire staff shines.. they are genuine and they want you to enjoy your stay.. whoever hires these folks is doing something very right. Parking is tight but there is also space on the streets so it isn't too bad. There are some spots in the hotels lot which you enter off the side street on the north side of the hotel. To get to the beach or dining it is a bit of a walk but there is also a trolley stop directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast they offer is also really good.. plenty of small plates to choose from and everything relatively on the healthy side.. coffee, tea, juice, etc all included. The ambiance and tranquility here is just something you cannot get with a newer property or tourist trap.. this is the real deal.. if you enjoy a place that has character, charm, and little cute surprises like a bell tower with an absolutely epic view and an upper pool deck with stunning ocean views in a smaller more intimate setting this hotel is an absolute can't miss. Some hotels are just special and make you want to return.. this is one of them.

Google
We were so impressed with Casa Laguna! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with friendly and helpful service with our bags, and we were offered a welcome drink. The pool service was wonderful too. Our room was cozy but clean and beautifully appointed with everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic, made fresh to order with a variety of things to choose from, all included. This will definitely be our getaway spot in Laguna going forward!

Google
We had a wonderful time at Casa Laguna and liked it so much we came back for a second time during our recent trip to Southern California! Jordan, the hotel’s general manager, and his wonderful team, made us feel very welcome and looked after us to make our stay magical. The hotel grounds are stunning with breathtaking views of the ocean, and the rooms are beautiful. The food and drink are also great, particularly the breakfast served in the courtyard, which was complimentary. We will definitely be back for a third visit!

A charming stay, even if just for one night! I only spent one night at Casa Laguna Hotel & Spa, but it completely won me over. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets felt like clouds, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location and views are simply breathtaking. I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay next time!

Google
Pros: |- beautiful hotel. It is a truly boutique hotel |- Cody (I think that was his name) was great! |- tasty food menu that you can can choose from for room service |- right next to virgin beach and other wonderful beaches ||Cons: |- this hotel is right to PCH, so be prepared for it being very loud! The cars drive super fast and opening the window does not create a peaceful atmosphere |- breakfast options are very limited. I do not think they have a cook in the kitchen |- walking around in the neighborhood feels weird. Side alleys (home owners) don’t want you to be walking around for security reasons but it does create a very snobby atmosphere

Yelp
My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Casa Laguna. The hotel itself wasn't super busy and we had the pool to ourselves for much of the day - they even have complimentary sun bum SPF! The staff were friendly and attentive while we hung out at the pool. They even offered us a free upgrade for the jacuzzi wellness spa which comes with a whole bottle of champagne! The rooms had character, a comfy bed, and came equipped with many fun bar items for purchase. It was a bit musty but I think that is expected with being so close to the beach. One of my favorite parts of the hotel that was unexpected was the free breakfast. The breakfast was seated with a server where we had many options from a delicious, light, and healthy menu. Definitely recommend Casa Laguna for a celebration, staycation, or a relaxing weekend getaway. :)

Yelp
Where do I even start? I loved everything about Casa Laguna! From the moment we stepped in to check in, up until the end, everything was so amazing and peaceful during our stay. The property is very clean, nicely decorated, and offers everything you may need. We were given a tour throughout the property upon arrival by Brent. The plants and flowers in every nook and cranny are exceptionally cared for. The outdoor seating, pools, beverage and common areas are clean and nicely tended to. Our room was SO cozy. I loved using the fireplace whilst watching movies. The aesthetic and ambiance were all 5/5 for us. As great as everything was, the fantastic service made everything the most enjoyable and memorable. Every person we interacted with was so pleasant, attentive, and willing to assist in every way. The person we spent the most time with was Brent. From his customer service, uplifting mood, constant attentiveness, and overall help, I would crown that man employee of the month, every month, forever! He even recommended some awesome local favorites (restaurants) that we tried and loved. 100% will recommend and return. They offer complimentary breakfast, with a twist! Most places, they put everything out for everyone to take. Here it was a bit different. You pick a table (inside or outside) and choose from a small menu with a decent amount of options. They take your order and bring the food out to you. They have a beverage station with coffee, tea, orange juice, and water. Room service is also offered. We went out for breakfast most of the days and didn't experience it with them until the very last day of our trip. The portions aren't massive, but filling, and you're able to order multiple things. It was really nice. And again, service 5/5!

Yelp
It is definitely a boutique experience. Rooms are boutique. Bathroom is boutique and showers are really boutique....boutique shower fixtures in your face if you are over 5'5 tall. I'm not sure how rooms here run close to $700 a night. Def recommend using hotels tonight or something if you want to book here. Parking is fairly horrific.

Yelp
You can't stay at Casa Laguna hotel .. however, you can go and enjoy all of the other amenities, like Larson's restaurant or Finn sushi. The Laguna Hotel bar is scrumptious and fun . I've got a nice big fireplace too immerse yourself in with a hot toddy . Super friendly people. They've got street parking valet parking . It's fine just go.

Yelp
Amazing little bed and breakfast in Laguna. The hospitality here won't be forgotten. Nick and his staff took great care of us. Welcome beverage delivered directly to your room. Callan gave us all the good beach tips from the vantage point of a local. Look up Victoria Beach, just a 10 minute walk away. This establishment is not recommended for kids. Most guests were couples but we did see a few friend groups also. The grounds feel like a good friend's garden. Very cozy but still room to explore. Pool is heated to 82 degrees. Jacuzzi is private, and comes at an extra cost. View of the ocean is amazing from the pool area. Parking is in a very tiny lot, maybe for 10 cars. Larger vehicles should opt for the street, although depending on the circumstances, it could be on the other side of PCH, without a proper crosswalk to assist in the walk back. Also low clearance vehicles should be avoided as you'll probably scrape on the steep driveway in. Room was clean and ready upon check-in time. I do wish the bed was more comfortable. I thought it was okay but my wife didn't care for it. Bathroom fixtures weren't the best either and the hot water delivery had some room for improvement. Breakfast menu was small but adequate. Order off the menu, and they'll bring you as much or as little as you want. Take your time. Coffee and tea self serve at no charge. Outside of breakfast, they do offer some small bites off their menu, but don't expect a full service restaurant. It's about a 30 minute walk to downtown Laguna Beach. We had a hard time getting an Uber either way because of the short trip. Keep that in mind if planning on using rideshare apps. We loved our stay here and hope to return!

Yelp
Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Laguna! We stayed for five nights. This was a peaceful spot to truly relax. The staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had checked in during the evening and were gifted welcome sangrias. Already a great start to our stay! We loved the heated pool area. With the ocean being too cold to swim in at the nearby beaches, it was nice to have the option to swim in the heated pool. The sauna was also a great area to relax. As for the hotel room, it was clean and comfortable. Really liked the robes which were so comfy! There was also a beach bag, with a blanket and towels available to use. We had an amazing ocean view. Outside of our room there was also a cushioned bench so we could watch the beautiful sunset. Such a romantic setup! The breakfast menu does not change by day, and it is small but the options are great. We enjoyed our daily egg bites, charcuterie, and mimosas! There was also a self serve coffee, tea and orange juice station. Every evening they also bake chocolate chip cookies which are available in the lobby. The parking situation is quite tough (with the space being very narrow). There is a trolley stop outside the hotel which is convenient for going to the main downtown area, but coming back it is difficult as there is no crosswalk on the highway. Overall, still had a spectacular stay at Casa Laguna. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
I used to come here with my mother 20 years ago before they were renovated and now that their all shiny polished and new I love it even more I'm obsessed with their tile in the bathroom. I absolutely love their new design. And I plan to come every month that I can just for a California staycation. The staff is caring and amenable. I can't really say enough

Yelp
This is an amazing hidden gem. It's the best place to stay in Laguna Beach by far. The staff make it the best place. From the front desk to the housekeepers all were friendly and super responsive. Whether you go for a girls trip or romantic getaway you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Love this hidden gem. Came here with my sister and absolutely loved it. It is probably the best resort we have ever been to. One notable person is Nick. He served us breakfast, but then also helped us at the pool very versatile young man with great people skills.

Yelp
Do not patronize this hotel. They charged me for a room reservation that I canceled within their terms limit, but mishandled on their end. I had been a repeat customer and their handling of my complaint was very poor.

Yelp
I have to preface that I have not stayed here nor am I upset with any of the staff. This review is solely for their policy for prenatal massages. My godmom wanted to gift me a prenatal massage for my birthday. She was flying in from out of state and wanted to have a spa/pool day! I called to book and they required a doctor's note. I thought it was strange since none of the other spas in the area required (Montage, Monarch, The Ranch, Mission Inn, Sand & Surf- yes, I called all of them trying to find availability). I totally respected that they required and I let them know I could provide one from my certified midwife. They refused to accept and said it has to be from an MD. I said I have no way of obtaining one since I am doing an OOH birth and do not have an OBGYN. They still refused to accept. Just felt a little restrictive because of how I am choosing to have my baby. I hope they consider changing the policy in the future as I would love to come but now my view is skewed.

Yelp
This place is incredible- probably the best hotel experience I've had. We've had some not so great experiences recently, so we weren't expecting much, but this place blew us away. Very good vibes, good service, and overall just a top tier experience. We paid for just the basic garden room, but it was anything but basic. We had our own private gate & walkway leading to our room, a nice living room area, bathroom, big master bedroom. Didn't feel like just another hotel room, it felt like we had the master suite. Other rooms I think have ocean views, but we were totally happy with the garden view and privacy that we had in our place. Complimentary robes were a nice touch. Also, after we checked in & received our key, we were offered a welcome beverage that came with fresh (and I mean fresh) chocolate chip cookies. We were then handed a complimentary breakfast menu order, where we were told to mark down whatever we wanted to order, and schedule a time for it to be brought to the room or picked up from the lobby. Complimentary, custom-order breakfast room service! So fun! The man at the front desk who checked us in was so friendly & kind & made us feel welcomed. It was pretty chilly that night, so we asked him if there was any hot tea we could have. Five minutes later, he brought over some nice herbal tea for the two of us to our room, on the house. Quick, kind & caring service! This place is a little far from the main downtown laguna area, but we decided to uber for dinner, which was a cheap $6 trip from the hotel. Well worth it, considering you have to hunt & pay for parking everywhere in the area. We were glad to leave the car at the hotel & get dropped off right at our destination. The parking lot is up this extremely steep hill, & kind of small, but we managed to find a spot with no issues. And the hotel itself is pretty small which means you don't have to carry your luggage far from your car. There's a nice pool & a nice patio next to it that overlooks the ocean. We brought our breakfast out here & really enjoyed the view. Complimentary coffee & OJ in the morning was pretty good. And the check-out process was smooth, with no surprises. We were so glad to stay here & have been telling all of our friends about it. Hope to come again soon!

Yelp
I don't even have words for how much I love this place, so I'll keep it short & sweet. Casa Laguna is a beautiful fairytale, oasis, and little-slice of-heaven on the cliffs. Tucked away and charming at every corner. Sangria at check in. Warm cookies at sunset in the lobby. Delightful staff. Cozy sauna. Dog friendly. & they upgraded us to the breathtaking cottage suite for our anniversary! My only regret is we didn't stay longer. Don't change a thing, Casa Laguna!

Yelp
Because I had a long weekend, I decided to take an impromptu trip from Vegas. This place was exactly as customers described. It was charming. I would also describe it as cozy and quaint, and I absolutely LOVED it! It didn't feel as if I were in California near the beach at all. It felt like I was in Italy . You have the best of both worlds. The view of the beach, and that quaint environment. The vibe was personable , family oriented, and left me wanting more! I usually book modern or contemporary places, but even though this place wasn't that, I loved its unique atmosphere. This was my first time visiting Laguna Beach from Vegas, and it definitely wouldn't be my last! FYI, in addition to the breakfast, they also have unlimited coffee, tea , and mimosas in the morning (only on weekends for the mimosa) There is also infused cold water on the premises near the lobby that'savailable daily. They also have a pool, hot tub, and a spa. This lovely place is walking distance to the beach and numerous restaurants. You do not need to rent a car. I enjoyed walking, so I walked everywhere! Thank you for your hospitality :) As always, I'll be back in my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect! What a beautiful little getaway. We usually stay at more modern hotels but we both ended up loving this place more than anything else. It was so perfectly decorated and different that it made you feel like you were in Europe. We couldn't stop talking about it. The gentleman at the reception area was so polite and kind and made us feel so welcomed. The welcome sangria was delicious as well as the complementary breakfast they personally deliver to you. Our room was so unique and cozy. I felt like we were in Morocco. We'll definitely be back. Everything was a solid 10! 5 stars! Perfect!

Yelp
This was my first visit but my fiance has been before. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. Our room was cute and charming and had a very nice view of the ocean. We were going to go out for dinner but we loved the room and ambiance so much we decided to have dinner delivered. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of choices. It was a lovely visit - Update: We discovered that we had left a valuable Tiffany bracelet in the room when we left. I was distraught thinking that it was gone forever. I called and they had found it and put it in the managers safe. Truly I am amazed even more at their honesty and integrity. Thank you

Yelp
We went to Casa Laguna on a Saturday morning for their couple massage special - 60 minute Swedish massage for two and then 45 minutes in their cozy outdoor jacuzzi with bottle of bubbly. This is a really quaint and relaxing hotel with great vies of the water. On Saturday and Sunday, they have a complimentary coffee, champagne and mimosa bar that we helped ourselves to while waiting for our massage. Our masseuses' were very professional and gave a great session. Give them a call about this couples special as they don't have it everyday I think.

Yelp
I had the most incredible stay here to celebrate my birthday. Service was excellent and so attentive. Staying here truly feels like a getaway- private, quiet, and very luxurious. I also told them that I don't drink alcohol so they subbed my welcome alcoholic beverage with a plate of cookies and unique sodas- what a treat! Highly recommend staying in a room with the ocean view, it was gorgeous eating outdoors with the view. Such a beautiful and memorable stay. I can't wait to come back for some more rest & relaxation!

Yelp
This place is above and beyond my expectations. Came here for a nights stay , couples massage and sunset hot tub. We walked in and were greeted politely and promptly by the two gentlemen . One of which is Cody. After we were taken to our private massage suite with both Tommy and a female ( i am drawing a blank from but she's from the Czech Republic) they let us undress with dress with plenty of time to get into the massage beds. My massage by Tommy was so exceptional and worth every penny. He really focused on all my areas of tension while reminding me to breathe (which might sound weird but anyone who lifts very heavy has to remember to breathe) . My friend was massaged by CR ( Czech Republic) she was soo good he fell asleep 20 minutes in and was snoring !! After we got into our bathing suits and we were escorted to the upstairs private hot tub with ocean view for the sunset! As we approached there was a bottle of champagne and a small bites menu. The sky was so clear we could see Catalina island. It was so beautiful, we ordered the charcuterie board. I can not emphasize enough how good it was, they have a truffle cheese that is out of this world and pairs lovely with the strawberries !!! The entire place is clean, friendly and overall amazing. Definitely worth every penny from the hospitality to the food.

Yelp
What a lovely boutique hotel! The old world architecture beautifully captures the romantic ambiance. Their lush flowers and charming brick walkways very much added to the charm of this boutique hotel. We opted to book a 90 minute couples massage and the exceptional massages by Pavla and Sasha made our stay most memorable of all their amenities. The outdoor salt bath soak has an ocean view and chilled sparkling wine was waiting for us after the massage. Coffee was available early 6:30am located by the dining room and we enjoyed it back in our room to linger longer before heading to breakfast. We chose to sit outside in the cutest patio area seated next to a tranquil fountain. From check in to check out, the entire staff was so nice and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

Yelp
This is the cutest little hideaway spot in Laguna Beach. I highly recommend coming here and getting a room just for fun! I'm here to enjoy the view. 5 stars for everyone who works here. They are so happy and helpful! There is parking in back so you don't have to park on PCH. Well worth the room price of $220!! We had some snacks in the lobby which is also part of the restaurant. So cute and yummy! The chef is adorable and he makes peanut butter cookies for all to enjoy except me because they're not gluten free. They smell delicious though!!

Nina ..

Yelp
We have been going there 2 years straight to celebrate our wedding anniversary This was our 3 year. Everything changed!! New manager Jordan was there when we arrived On notes I did mention our anniversary He did comment on it but nothing more Soo sad!!! 34 years of marriage is meaningful to us. Breakfast to over 20 min, we were never acknowledged. We saw that the server was busy, we were patient but my husband had to go to the front desk & let the girl know it's taking along time. Needless to say, don't think we will be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down best customer service I have experienced in an awhile. This is great spot built in 1930's I believe. Cody was friendly and helpful during our stay. Our anniversary was so peaceful and beautiful. Complimentary Champagne in our room. We stayed in room 20 the cottage suite. Large suite with fireplace and overlooking pool and ocean. Beds were excellent and the jacuzzi tub was romantic. Thank you Casa Laguna.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful, relaxing gem of a place. My husband and I enjoyed the couples massage, sauna and dip. The service is impeccable. We will definitely be going back.

Yelp
Other Worldly. Intercontinental. Global. Total comfort & joy to be here visiting a friend! In Laguna no less. Am I allowed to review a place where I didn't stay? My friend from out of state booked this Casa Laguna as a treat for herself. What a treat! We had the most delightful happy hour in this comfortable & charming setting with ocean view balcony. One Bedroom Suite. Laguna Suite I believe. Actually, I have stayed here. It was long before Yelp was invented- back in 1981. So I'm Yelping now. I'm pretty sure my tab was under $45 for an upper garden room. Oh, those days were good. And I thought it had the best ambience back then. Great to see it has kept the integrity of old world charm. Couldn't get enough of the setting. Staff was so accommodating while we "toured" the grounds. The chef was a delight to talk with. The decor just exquisite. I can't wait to book it soon-my treat. Like most places in Laguna, it's expensive. But you forget all about it when you're there looking at the Pacific.

Patti P.

Yelp
This place is truly magical! Had an amazing stay here. High thread count bedding, and down pillows, beautiful pool too! Only thing I would change would be the tv- it was outdated, the volume kept going out,and they only had cable which I don't watch due to all the commercials. The coffee bars coffee was like warm as well all mornings I was there. But I will be back for sure!

Yelp
We are local residents and I saw on Reddit they have a great couples massage spa package, so I booked one for my wife and I, I've never had one before and I don't know why I waited so long, the ladies that massaged my wife and I were awesome and had the healing touch. They gave us a form before hand on what kind of massage we wanted as far as intensity level and if there were any areas we wanted them to give special attention to and as my wife had hurt her shoulder earlier in the week this was perfect. The spa itself was very clean, comfortable and most of all relaxing. I choose the 60 minute massage but now I wish I chose the 90 because it was just amazing, then to top it off after our massage there was a therapeutic soak in the secluded hot tub over looking the sunset and ocean which included a bottle of champagne, we went with the sparkling water as we don't drink. Husbands, take your wife here, you won't regret it, I even got an amazing chocolate chip cookie on the way out of the lobby.

Alayna M.

Yelp
The property and views are amazing. The staff super attentive and helpful. Feels like you're in a cute little Spanish villa.

Yelp
Love this beautiful place. It's my gfs favorite place to visit. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff is amazing. Robert was the best, he waited on us hand and foot. Always has a smile on his face. Francesca gave a 10/10 massage, she's so intuitive and talented. I can't recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back soon

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon this last weekend and were EXTREMELY impressed! Cozy warm vibes, very intimate. Staff was all very helpful and kind! The complimentary breakfast service and the nightly sweet treats in the reception area was awesome! We are already planning our next visit!

Yelp
The hotel was beautiful and quiet. Very close to the beach about a 5 minute walk . Breakfast was light and tasty . Endless Champagne for breakfast. I can't wait to stay again in 2025

Yelp
Update: met with manager and he way very helpful and wanted to know about everything. Very professional and kind. He also offered us a generous refund and we'd be happy to return

Yelp
Loved this gem in Laguna. We had a bottle of wine waiting for us upon check-in which was a nice touch. The private patio was perfect for relaxing and we also enjoyed our breakfast there the next day. The bathtub is amazing! I wish we had stayed an extra night but it was right before Christmas and we had to get back. Next time I would skip going out to dinner and have it on the patio. They also have a nice heated pool (I didn't bring my suit). Something for next time.

Loved our quick stay here and definitely want to return because we didn't have enough time to enjoy the property completely. I love places that really go the extra mile and that's what Casa Laguna does. Upon check in we were greeted with a welcome sangria and one of the best cookies of my life. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast delivered to the room in the morning was a nice touch as well. Our room was a little on the small side but fine for a short weekend. The robes were very comfy and I loved the beach bag filled with towels and a card suggesting a picnic and nearby beach with directions...so thoughtful! Can't wait to come back :)

Yelp
Can I just say, this is our second time reserving this place and just like the first time, customer service is up to par. The gentleman named Robert, helped us tremendously to book our after-wedding reservation. Shout out to him and his professionalism on helping us reserve our room. Very thorough and very informative. THANK -YOU!!!

Yelp
Casa Laguna is a hidden gem of Laguna! Small boutique hotel that treats you like Bradley had amazing customer service. We were wined (mimosa'd) and dined with some unbelievable crepes for breakfast. We will definitely make this our main hotel stay in Laguna! I would give this place 6 stars if I could!

Yelp
We spent a night at Casa Laguna to celebrate our anniversary. It was an amazing place to stay, and we were welcomed and treated so well by all the staff. They really went out of their way to make our stay special. The breakfast and coffee were amazing in the morning. The room was very comfortable and nice. We will definitely be back after the warm welcome we received.

Yelp
I wanted a unique experience. We wanted to unplug and rejuvenate ourselves! Mission accomplished. I can't say enough about how wonderful this little gem is. We loved our beautiful room 21 with a balcony eating area and ocean view. The European breakfast included was perfect. Don't waste your money on boring cookie-cutter hotel rooms. It does not have ocean front views, but the trolley stop is right in front and so convenient to get around. Thank you, Hailey, for the best crepes around! The staff is amazing and attentive. Book now! You won't regret it! We will be back!

Yelp
Just spent my birthday weekend here and plan to return soon. The grounds are peaceful and very clean. You will be amazed over all the tucked away seating areas you'll find throughout the grounds. There is even a tower to catch the view of the Pacific. The pool is very clean and there are enough loungers for all. All the water fountains really set the stage for a relaxing visit. This is a quiet and RELAXING environment. So, loud partiers may want to stay in-town or remain at the local Motel 6. The front desk team, Natalie and "Z", really make you feel welcomed. It was a pleasure meeting and being greeted by Natalie. She is so accommodating and friendly - one looks forward to interacting with her. "Z" is friendly & hardworking, plus works to make sure you enjoy your stay. Housekeeping is very attentive and friendly. They greet you with a smile and ask if there is anything you need to make your stay even more enjoyable. Plus, your room is left spotless. FOOD FOOD FOOD! Chef Steve is amazing! We had 3 dinners in town and wish we remained on the grounds in the evenings. The menu may be limited but the flavor is LIMITLESS! The portion size can definitely feed three, so don't over-order. We are travelers and we had never had a better Ceviche! The fruit & cheese plate can fill you because you just can't stop eating. You have to try the burger. Yes, the burger - it was so delicious, you won't need mayo, ketchup, or mustard. You can eat in the dining room, your room, or any courtyard on the grounds - did I mention there is a tower? The best part is that Chef Steve's dishes are ONLY for Casa Laguna guests (guests of guests'). Jeromy our server was knowledgeable about the dishes and always closed with "Is there anything else?". On-Site Spa: I had in two appointments with therapist Louise. She may be petite, but is a strong match for those tight shoulders. And, I felt so relaxed; I drifted off to sleep - BOTH appointments. Make sure you book the private sauna and hot tub upon your arrival. In all fairness, parking can be a challenge for people who feel a need to drive a GIANT car. However, if you are secure enough to drive a med size sedan or small to mid-size SUV - there is parking in the lot. We plan to return to Laguna Beach and once again will stay at Casa Laguna. What a memorable stay.

Yelp
Do you like gelato? They don't have any, but they do have a young fella by the name of Cody. He may not have a response for the 750 degree blanket, but he knows the second those fuego cookies come rolling out the oven, and he'll for sure let you know. My gf makes fun of me because of how much I love Cody, and how much I love cookies (4.5 stars for not having gelato)

Yelp
What an amazing place to stay. We are locals looking for a place to stay for our anniversary. We discovered this on yelp. We had the best time. The Spanish style was adorable. The staff was great, offering us sangrias when we arrived and champagne to celebrate. The pool area was lovely. They had comfortable chairs to lay out, sunblock that was complementary, and flavored water. There was also lovely music. The grounds are so beautiful. There were a little places to explore and lots of seating areas that were secluded. We booked a couples massage, both the masseuse were excellent. We then soaked in a mineral bath afterward with complementary champagne. It was about a mile and a half walk to town. We enjoyed the boutiques on the way, and it wasn't too far from the beach as well. Our room was on the second story so we got a beautiful view of the ocean. They offered freshly baked cookies at night. They had games available as well. And included in the state was complementary breakfast brought to your room. It was delicious needless to say. Stayed home before, but this will now become a yearly tradition. We can't wait to many more years at Casa Laguna.

Yelp
"Like a warm hug" is exactly what I felt the minute I walked into the lobby at Casa Laguna. I desperately needed some time away for relaxation and to get some work done. I felt transported to a Spanish villa. Gorgeous flowers and walkways and lovely piped in music. As beautiful as Casa Laguna is - it's actually the staff that make it so magical. I stayed in the Cottage for the first two nights - Thank you Dan for the generous upgrade. Zaman and his wonderful staff spoiled me and took such good care or me. I extended my stay for one more night and stayed in the ocean view Laguna Suite. Thank you so much to Dan, Kristen, Natalie (thank you for the ocean view soak and champagne), China, Kyle, Haley, Tyler,Rebecca, Zaman, DJ (wonderful massage). Your service was impeccable and so warm and genuine. Delicious breakfasts and yummy shrimp ceviche. I can't wait to come back. Thank you much

Yelp
If you enjoy the following, you should stay at Casa Laguna: Ocean views and breezes Warm, friendly, attentive staff Sangria Sparkling wine Frank Miller Heated pools Soaking in a private tub overlooking the ocean Massages Delightful decor Crepes on weekends My husband just spent last weekend there, celebrating my birthday and it was a complete delight. The room was cozy and small but it wasn't a bother. We got to look at the ocean from our bed and the room itself was comfortable. The ambiance of the whole place was incredible. We also got a couples massage and tub soak (which also included sparkling wine) and I cannot wait to make this a tradition. Seriously, I felt so pampered and relaxed. The only downside of the hotel is that parking is a bit cramped but even that wasn't a problem. Just don't bring a Range Rover. Go to Casa Laguna, just don't all book the weekend of January 20, ok? ;)

Yelp
I am pretty disappointed, the receptionist was not very helpful. And just told us to book on the website instead of with her. I was looking forward to staying here, but I will look elsewhere. Service was not what I expected.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I celebrated our one year anniversary at this gorgeous, Moroccan-inspired luxury lodging. For three blissful days, we: * Satisfied our palates with their AMAZING blackened chicken tacos (they're must-try items!) * Drank lots of and mimosas * Lounged by the pool and relaxed in their therapeutic soak on the second level of the said pool area The staff members were all very professional and friendly -- especially Bradley and Z, the general manager. These gentlemen made our experience here a great one. We'll definitely return to Casa Laguna for some sun-soaked, relaxing days and evenings.

Yelp
Overall I had a great stay at the hotel. My husband and I booked for our anniversary. Still feels weird to travel after Covid but the hotel was very clean and I felt safe. I think they upgraded us from a room with an ocean view balcony to a jr suite which was so nice to have the extra space. The ocean view was nice, but keep in mind that by opening the doors there is a lot of car noise from the road. It's great that they have double doors so when they are both closed you don't hear too much. We had a sunset soak booked which was so relaxing, my only complaint is that the sun pretty much had set already by the time they told us to arrive and towards the end of the time it was really dark and there were no lights up there. Food menus and times differ online vs materials and what they tell you. We ordered food at 7:15pm to ensure that we could order anything off the menu and our order was "lost" and we had to pick from only two items. We ended up waiting two hours for any food which was really frustrating. Beware of the parking, it's nice that they have some parking on site but if you can bring a small car I would suggest doing so. Our Chevy Tahoe didn't fit in their spots but luckily we found one on the edge that we parked in. Check in and check out were very easy and quick.

Yelp
This hotel is wonderful. Five star service. The best bed and breakfast in laguna. I wish we could stay all summer!

Yelp
What a superb place. This is a exclusive boutique resort, very clean, cozy, welcoming with beautiful and friendly employees. I highly recommend it. Rooms are so cute some with great ocean view some with garden view. Excellent breakfast, afternoon snack and delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies. We had a fantastic time and we will be back soon.
