Expensive, but pleasant. The restaurant is dimly-lit, but in an aesthetically pleasing way that is a balm to light-sensitive eyes. The menu has a nice variety, so unless you're super picky you should find something that piques your interest.
The average single-person meal + a drink will likely be around the mid-20s unless you get your pickings from the kids' menu (where a meal will be a little over 10 dollars with drink).
Recommended to pay with cash, as a 4% discount is given if you do.
I ordered the American-style street tacos (the Mexican-style has cilantro, and I unfortunately have the soap gene) with carne asada as the meat. It's three soft tacos, but you wouldn't know that from my image because I ate #3 before realizing that I should probably attach an image. Sorry. It's good. The cheese gives a nice pop of saltiness that I really appreciate. I don't know, I'm not a professional food reviewer. I'm just some random whitey eating tacos to fill the void. They also give you complimentary tortilla chips + salsa. Don't try to eat them in bed like I did; the chips will get angry at you.
The girl at front was nice. Expect a mild wait to receive service, as the place isn't super staffed, so the cashier will likely slip into the kitchens when left idle to help out there.
I remember when this place was more homely and whimsical. I sat across from my mom in a booth and we demolished the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. I don't know what I got, but it was good and I was happy. I saw evidence that my mother had been a person before she'd had children. She should never have become a mom, or perhaps even a wife.
Overall: good food, pleasant atmosphere. This place would be nice for a date, probably.
