What a wonderful place! This is truly what community looks like. Stop by during their monthly community meal and ask about volunteering!

I volunteered for a week at Posada Esperanza, and was treated with so much kindness by everyone. They do such amazing and important work. I encourage others to volunteer, too! Note about cranky neighbor(s) comment: perhaps they could have some compassion and pitch in to help rather than complain! Get to know them, and you will be truly blessed. Thanks to Patti and the staff for making my visit possible. Keep up the good work!

This place helps people who just moved to this country get their feet on the ground and start to get a handle on what it takes to make it here, it's really amazing service they provide. If you have any time you could just benefit yourself and someone else by going down there and spending time with anybody that you meet. Once a month they have a dance and serve food in the front yard it's very welcoming community people who have just moved here and they're doing some amazing work over there I highly recommend checking it out.

This place helps people who just moved to the country to get their feet on the ground, they offer accomodation, feeding and some legal advice. But recently they hired unprofessional people to join that nice staff members & that the only one reason I rated 4 stars.

This is a local non profit that helps refugees who come to America by providing shelter, education, legal services and general help to get started in our society. Note that these are people who have come legally to the US and in need of assistance. Donations are always appreciated as demand for their services is very high.

Yelp
Casa Marianella is an amazing organization dedicated to helping asylum seekers. They serve seeking communities in the form of radical hospitality. When volunteering with the staff and people at Marianella, you can feel how they strive for acceptance and community. They are very knowledgeable about their work. This as a whole is what makes them an enjoyable and interesting volunteering opportunity.

Yelp
Casa Marianella is a non profit that serves asylum seekers directly everyday by providing shelter and other services. They serve in every way possible to help people get on their feet. I have seen lots of success coming from Casa! I have nothing but good to say because that is all I have seen. I have volunteered for them.

Yelp
What a beautiful business. I work with CasaMarianella from time to time recently to find women who are recent citizens, down and out, and seeking work themselves. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and have integrity.. which is most important. I recommend contacting them if you're looking to hire.
