We had a fresh, home-style Italian dinner that made us feel right at home. My husband and I shared three delicious dishes, each more authentic than the last—the kind of food that melts on your palate and takes you straight to heaven. We ended the night with a pistachio tartufo that was simply divine. 🍝💚🇮🇹

The food was spectacular, with authentic flavors and excellent presentation. The service was really good, with the staff being attentive and friendly. The place itself is also very nice and has a cozy atmosphere. The only downside was that we had to wait a little for our table, but other than that, everything was perfect. We highly recommend all the pasta dishes—they are delicious. Some say the portions are too big, but I found them to be just the right size for each guest. Definitely a 100% recommended place!

I absolutely love this place for pasta!!! If you're craving authentic, traditional Italian cuisine with the warmth and charm of a family-run trattoria, look no further. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with old-world hospitality and the comforting aromas of Italy!! Omg if you are a meat eater, that Ragu Bolognese is by far my favorite dish, I’ve tried a lot of them and that is still my most desirable pasta dish so far!! What truly sets Casa Mía apart is the service. The staff treats you like family—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and always ready with a recommendation or a friendly story. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home I was told the pasta and tomatoes are brought from abroad and you can notice the high quality and freshness of their ingredients!!

I ate at Casa Mia for the first time this past week. I have driven by for so many years but never went in Mistake! Big Mistake! Their parking lot was and still is always full and I now understand why! Liam our server definitely added to having such a great dining experience! My chicken was well seasoned, tender and a great portion. My friend had linguine and clam and I think scallops sauce and she ate every last bite! Prices are decent portions were filling, food was fresh Liam was great!

Google
1st visit, sit-down dinner today. Walked in with so much enthusiasm that they gave me a reserved table. Amazing impression ! Then it gets better, one of many of their attentive wait staff by the name of Roger, gave us an unswerving dedicated, service from beginning to end, TY 😊 Menu items just made you want it all, but we had to decide and went with familiar dishes. Chefs outdid themselves with these recipes. Every bite was better than the last, and the balance in flavors just took over and had me in appreciation for such well prepared and presented dishes. TY Chefs 👏🏼 Back to Roger, he complimented our dinner with spot-on service, professionally, informative, and even fun going. I not only recommend and highly rate this F&B establishment, but I will continue my visits until I have tasted every dish on the menu. Thanks to all staff and owners for giving us the customers, a restaurant we can truly enjoy in all areas of this business. TY 😊

Google
This neighborhood trattoria is the best you can find for authentic Italian food. The menu is quite creative and varied. The food is always prepared like Momma would make! You always feel at home and the owner, Paolo, is super attentive and gracious! The staff is very nice and welcoming as well. They do only serve beer and wine and the ambiance is just that of a neighborhood place you always want go back to.

Yelp
Paolo, Maria and Staff are Truly The Best Servers in the Industry. The Food was so Fresh and Delicious. I always enjoy the Chicken Parmigiana and bottle of Italian wine preferably Chianti and the fresh Calamari with the red spicy sauce. The Ambiance was great the lighting was dim and made it epic and great.

Yelp
Real authentic Italian Food! So yummy. And the service was impressive. The ambiance reminded me of an old Italian cafe - get there early it fills up quickly.

Yelp
The rolls were good as always, the waiter kept checking with us to ensure we were ok. However the food took a long time to be ready , It definitely was not disappointing. Per the usual crowd we sat outside. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed outdoors.

Misa G.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious and authentic Italian. The service was excellent and was such a lovely place to go for a nice date. Definitely will be back again soon!

Yelp
I've previously recommended this outstanding Italian restaurant my only criticism as a former NYer is the bread I've been here probably over 20 times or more

Yelp
First time trying it, very lively small Italian restaurant with large portions. Easy parking right out front which is a plus in Miami. Made last minute reservations before the storm last week and manager managed to get us in. Service was great even though it was right before closing, didn't feel rushed. Food was delicious, from everything we ordered.

Yelp
It's the kind of place you want to go back to the kitchen and kiss whoever's grandmother is back there cooking. I have now been here twice and both times food was just amazing. They have inside and outdoor seating. The place is a small Italian spot in North Miami. Very unassuming. But oh does the food just make you go mamma mia! For appetizers I've had the burrata and so fresh and light. The perfect starter. For entree I had the Ravioli de granchio. It was superb. The ravioli were cooked perfectly. The crab was so fresh. I can't think of another adjective outside of orgasmic. Staff is very friendly and always attentive. I normally say if in the neighborhood but once in a while there are restaurants you should drive regardless of where you are at. And this is one of them. Highly recommend.

Yelp
It's my second time visiting this restaurant and again, pasta here is delicious! We were celebrating my coworker's birthday so wanted to take her to a place she had never been. We got there by 12.30 pm and definitely, you always need to reserve here. We didn't expect it to be full on the inside but it was so we sat outside. Luckily it wasn't too hot so it was fine! Once we sat our server brought us water and bread. Bread here is good; it would be nice for them to make their own though. For entrees, 3 out of 5 in the table got the same, Fettuccine Alla Crema and what a delicious dish. I ordered without the prosciutto and it was the perfect vegetarian dish. The pasta here is delicious, made to perfection and the cook is always on point. The asparagus was crispy and the mushrooms were really juicy. My other two friends decided to order two dishes and share them. They had the Farfalle con Salmone which is a creamy vodka sauce with pieces of salmon and the Penne Rosa which both were very similar to the sauce, the only main variation was the salmon and type of pasta. The service was good. Definitely will come back and a reservation is a must here if you want to sit inside.

Yelp
After reading lots of great reviews this restaurant have, we decided to come here for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation for Thursday night and thank god we did, because went we arrived, the restaurant was packed. Parking is too small but we were lucky to arrive just as a couple were leaving. The restaurant is small but very cozy and intimate. We were promptly seated and served water and delicious warm homemade bread!! So good! We ordered the Carpaccio di Manzo Tartufato and the Pepata di cozze e vongole ad appetizers. We also ordered the Fettuccine marechiara, Garganelli ai Gamberi e Porri and Ravioli di granchio. All the food was outstanding!!! Absolutely well made and true Italian style!! A real Trattoria!! Homemade fresh al dente pasta and delicious, well seasoned sauce! The proportions were good too! The clams and mussels were fresh and the carpaccio was so tender, it just melted in your mouth! The ravioli filling made with crab was sooo amazing! And the pasta dough was made with squid ink! Outstanding! The marechiara and the garganelli were out of this world too!! To close out this perfect dinner we ordered the Fagottini di mele and a doppio espresso. So freaking good!! The fagottini dough was delicious!! Just perfect!! Oh and service was outstanding too!!! This place is truly a hidden gem and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Casa Mia is one of those family owned restaurants that only seem to be existent anywhere but home, thankfully they have been calling San Souci home for the past 19 years. The owner Paolo is actually part of the daily operation and has been since they have opened their doors in North Miami. Everything is exceptional here, from the fresh ingredients they use to make these iconic dishes to the flawless service you are met with upon walking in, Casa Mia is truly a gem and a staple in Miami to what is authentic Italian dining. I always order off menu and get my own custom pasta order depending on what I'm feeling. Don't forget to ask for the daily specials and rotating soups, they are to die for!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is absolutely delicious!!! Service friendly and very helpful. I recommend this restaurant to true lovers of homemade Italian food. I had homemade Garganelli ai gamberi e Porto. Highly recommend. Need reservations. The place is pretty busy.

Yelp
Excellent food & service One of the best Italian restaurant in our community. Paolo you have the best staff and chef in town.

Jerome T.

Yelp
Fabulous cozy setting with a wonderful owner/host and an incredibly attentive staff. The menu is wonderful and our food arrived perfectly prepared and plated like art work. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes that caught my eye. If you've gone to the so called big name restaurants you'll not get a better meal and you'll pay at least twice as much. They've got new regulars, my family.

Yelp
I only wish I had come to dine here before, but I guess it is never too late to find and enjoy these great Italian restaurants hidden in a neighborhood. I went on a Monday night to avoid any wait and too many people. We decided to sit inside, due that there were only a couple of tables occupied. Happy we decided that! When you walk in, it is an authentic family-owned Italian restaurant. The decoration is very old fashion, but lovely, true to their culture and style. The layout included wood tables and chairs, white long table cloths, white curtains in half of the windows, and lights on top of each table. They know what they are doing; they did not start yesterday. As soon as you sit down, you get a basket of warm bread and butter. Just perfect. You can order your drink while going thru the menu. We ordered fried mozzarella as an appetizer, and I had the special plate of that night - sautee pasta with chorizo and some vegetables. My husband ordered the lasagna. Let me tell you - it is to die for. It was outstanding. The portions are more than you would expect, and you can take home what is left. I did. And the next day was even better! We had our dinner with some wine, which, even though it was by the glass, was filled more than half. We did not order dessert. We were so full! The service was excellent, on point, and very friendly. We will go back for sure. We want to try every option on the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent food and service. They are very accommodating with special requests and take pride in everything they do. We also appreciate outside dining option.

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance first class! I have been enjoying the food Casa Mia Trattoria for years and it is alway fantastic. I particularly enjoy the fried calamari for appetizer, the crab ravioli omg, and tiramisu spectacular. The Service what can the staff is extremely attentive and go out of there way to make you feel at home and never steer you wrong with there recommendations and if there is something that not on the menu, they make sure to make it for you! Ambiance this is a small restaurant which is why they are so good at what they do. Seating is available inside and outside so what ever your preference it is there for you. Reservation are not required but they are recommended Casa Mia is very busy. If you like good food at reasonable prices, great service, and nice ambiance this is the place for you. Don't pass it up. Enjoy!!

Yelp
I drove up this past Sunday coming from North Beach and wanting to squeeze one more indulgent meal into my staycation and saw this cozy little bistro with old school signage tucked into the side of the Broad Causeway / Bal Harbor bridge. They have their own parking lot, which is a plus. The restaurant is cozy inside, and I'm guessing now in times of That Which Shall Not be Named, have added an outside dining terrace. Since it was a little cool for my taste, I decided to eat inside. Attention and service was top notch, with wait staff up to and including who I think was the manager, stopped by my table. Cassa's menu is focused on the basics, and as such I ordered their tagliatelle bolognese ("spaghetti & meat sauce" when you don't feel fancy :), mozarella a carosa ("fried mozzarella") and espresso no sugar. Their coffee alone was five stars! They should do a side business of just having a coffee window. It was brewed strongly enough that I had energy to do a lot of catch up & prep work when I got home. My main dish was really, really good. The noodles were just past al dente, not overly chewy nor oily. The bolognese was hearty and generously served. I can tell that the meat was fresh and well seasoned. Add fresh pepper and perfection! The only thing I'd change was the appetizer, specifically the sauce. It seemed a little runny and almost a hint sweet. It wasn't bad but just not what I loved. I'll definitely try their other apps, and would try the lasagna I've seen mentioned in various other reviews.

Sandra S.

Yelp
Perfect place for lunch or dinner. Every dish is prepared to perfection! Paulo is the best host.

Taylor A.

Yelp
Incredibly authentic and delicious food. By far the best food we've had while visiting Miami.

Yelp
It's perfect for romantic dinning. It meant for you to share your food. The drinks are great too

Yelp
As amazing as the food is I'm disappointed in the way this establishment treats their customers. My order was taken incorrectly over the phone and I only realized I received the wrong food after paying. I called to correct the order, and somehow ended up paying for a mistake they made. Money isn't the issue. I've eaten here several times before as I am a local, but just couldn't believe the way they were treating me. I was polite and patient with them, only to receive a very rude owner (Paolo) and his employees. "Oh my gosh" "Jesus Christ" he repeated over to the cashier as they both laughed in my face. I left the restaurant in tears over how frustrating and embarrassing the whole interaction was. Again, the food here is very tasty which is why I've been a regular costumer, but I will no longer be dining here. The owner and his staff need a serious refresher on how to treat others with basic human decency. Yes, that bad. It was an unfortunate experience for me, but as you can see in other reviews there are many others who had a more pleasant experience. I won't discourage you from eating here but be aware if any issues were to arise with your order prepare to be completely shutdown, and mistreated.

Yelp
The food is delicious, consistent, year after year, service is attentive. Good ambience

Yelp
Best northern Italian cooking. A rare gem with excellent service led by Paolo the owner. If you have never been there you have been missing out!!

Yelp
You just can't get great food and service anymore yet Casa Mia never disappoints. I gave it 5 stars as they are so courteous and the food is terrific. They are very reasonably priced and just a fabulous little place for dinner.

Yelp
First time here for lunch, the parking is small and it's also small inside therefore it will be noisy when you sit inside. The service was okay, got seated right away asked what water we preferred and then we got some bread. Now the food... everything was delicious! Our pastas were fresh and were packed with flavors, the salad was fresh and the olive oil and vinegar added an amazing touch (total was $65) I will have in mind that next time I come I will sit outside to have a more peaceful lunch. I will remove 1 star due to the fact that a lady who was our waitress was rude and seemed annoyed that we had some questions about the food and that my mother didn't know certain things she kinda spoke to her like she was slow and I didn't appreciate that but then a really nice man (another waiter) took over and he was the best!!
google avatar

Yelp
First time at this North Miami gem. You could quickly pass is on the way to Bal Harbour if you're not looking. Super quaint and small Italian restaurant. Filled with locals on a weekday which was good to see. We ordered Carbonara (I think $16.99) and Tagliatelle al ragú ($16.99). My date loved her ragú and I thought my Carbonara was delicious. I had to make a special request because the Carbonara wasn't on the menu. I'm glad I did! We left some room for the tiramisu which was to die for! Super dense and just enough cocoa powder on top (so you don't choke lol). The only issue was that they mixed up our to go boxes so we went home with the wrong pasta. Oh well. We will definitely be back!

Sofia L.

Yelp
Food and service is always exceptional!! This restaurant is one of my favorite Italians in Miami.

Yelp
A real locals place. This was definitely not a touristy section of Miami. Casa Mia Trattoria had a very New York feel to it. The owner was present and checked in on the tables as they ate. The food was great. I judge an Italian place like this on their red sauce. Their sauce was very good. We got a lot and I don't remember it all but here are the standouts. - meatballs. Great. I love when a meatball falls apart. They were small but homemade small. Very much like a grandmother would make. I don't love softball sized meatballs. - Cesar salad. Just a good salad. - Apple turnover dessert.

Yelp
Delicious food! Very helpful service. Make a reservation for dinner. Very popular! We are so happy they are near our neighborhood so we can visit often.

Yelp
Tienen mesas afuera y adentro pero siempre me he sentado adentro.

Yelp
Not enough good can be said about our latest experience here. I have been a few times before and enjoyed the friendly service, warm and cozy atmosphere and good food. This Sunday was no exception particularly for a very busy Mother's day brunch. The moment we arrived we were welcomed by the gentleman I assume was the manager (wish I knew his name) who was quick to acknowledge us and make sure we were welcomed and taken care of. The was absolutely gorgeous and elegant with everything of quality from normal brunch items as well as oysters, prime rib and salmon... there was also the regular menu available and our server Kaylee was efficient, friendly and accommodating to our group of 9 with different orders, drinks.... and a lot of requests. Wish I had taken photos to post. Definitely a wonderful place to go. Thanks for such a lovely Mother's Day celebration.

Yelp
Why spend more for great Italian food when Casa Mia has a great chef and very good service who can assist you with a selection of food (it's all good) and wine. They have dining indoors and outdoors with a substantial parking lot in a convenient location. You will not be disappointed

Yelp
From the moment you walk in you feel absolutely comfortable. The service was amazing. The ambiance was great. The pasta was perfectly al dente. We visited for the first time for my boyfriend's birthday and loved it. Will definitely be back again. 10/10!
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute and chill. Definitely has an older regular crowd but that did not stop any of the enjoyment or laughter. The food was delicious and fresh and the waitresses definitely paid attention to us. Not necessarily a young crowd, so don't come if you want to be rowdy. A wonderful place for a lovely day or a girls dinner. Everything was delicious and I had room for dessert which was the best tiramisu ever

Yelp
Amazing food quality and value. The service is really great as well. Used to come for lunch once a week, and the food is almost always exceptional.
