Casa Nobile

Case Nobile a very famous place in Lyon for authentic Italian cuisine. The place is located near bellcour metro station. The food is really delicious and Tiramisu is a must try . They don’t accept advance reservations so you have to be prepared for that. The Avg waiting time is 10-15 mins on rush hours . The prices are okay as per the restaurant standards. The staff is nice and welcoming. If you prefer authentic pizza you should give it a try . The price for pizza is between 12-20 euros . A glass of wine is around 4-6 euros . Overall I like the place

Great Italian restaurant. I had one of the best calzone’s i had ever including the ones i get in italy. Lemon tart was amazing also. Highly recommended.

Food was very good, portions are quite large that we were not able to finish it (unlike me!) Staff were friendly and very hospitable and welcoming. Location is perfect and the atmosphere was very nice.. Prices are reasonable and not expensive.. Overall, highly recommended

If you hadn’t been to Casa Nobile you haven’t been a proper pizzeria! What a gastronomical experience for all of us! The pizza was simply divine, melting into your mouth with each bite. Just before it was to open the queue started forming outside the restaurant. So when in Lyon, this is a must stop to add on to your superb dining experience!

Casa Nobile is a fantastic spot for authentic Italian food in Lyon! I had the rigatoni al ragù, which was flavorful and perfectly cooked—a real taste of Italy. The menu offers a great selection of classic Italian dishes, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. Cozy atmosphere with friendly staff who made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving good Italian cuisine in Lyon!

A big and excellent Italian restaurant. The food is to die for. Come hungry and try several items, you won't be disappointed. For a place as busy as this, it's impressive how quickly the orders get taken and the food is served. Plenty of seating inside or outside.

We waited 15–20 minutes just to place our order while the staff completely ignored us. No eye contact, no apology — just indifference. The overall attitude was careless and borderline rude. If this place wants to be taken seriously, they should take a trip to Italy and learn what real service and basic courtesy look like. A truly disappointing experience.

Decided to have food for lunch other than French. Got there just before the rush. Wood fired oven bufala pizza, excellent. 3 pastas, couldn’t finish. Pistachio pesto with shrimp, linguine with seafood, mostly shrimp and clams, and lasagna, all excellent.

Such a great dinning experience in Leon. We were a little tired of French cruising on our trip and noticed the exceedingly long lines queued up outside of Case Nobile. Some Leonaise friends mentioned that it may be the best pizza in France and we had to try it. Even at 22:00 we had to wait in line but the waiters amazingly, welcoming, kind and professional when it was our turn to be seated. We tried a calzone and a four cheese pizza along with two glasses of different red and in short - everything was perfection. Prosciutto is sliced in the dining room and the pizza oven is in the rear. Crust was amazing and the sauce was fresh. So simple and yet special - that way the best possible best pizza in France should be. I only wish I discovered it earlier in my trip. Oh well - next time!

Long lines for this food? Best pizza people have had? Assume those people have never been to Italy or New York City. Pizza dough is doughy and heavy. Middle part of pizza is so think that the toppings just fall off. Nothing special.

Excellent pizza and wine selections. Loved their house salad and díavola pizza. The line can get pretty long but moves pretty fast. Will definitely return next time in Lyon.

Soggy crust and cold toppings. Not a good pizza. Seems to be short of wait staff. Pizza came out after about 5 minutes of ordering. Not crispy. Salad was in a bowl and had to be cut up with the dull knife they provided. Never wait in line for this pizza!

Amazing Italian food, exceptional service and always full of people . I have been here twice and it never disappoints !! I took my two little girls with me the last time and they made their day with the pizza design . I will definitely come back .

Hopping place with wide selection of Italian food. Menu in Italiano and French. Way nicer than expected with big ole pizza oven.

Our first italian food experience since we moved to Lyon and simply amazing! The place had a warm- cozy feel and was filled with meat cutters and cheese platters and refrigerator filled with mozzarella!!! We ordered a pizza and lasagne after much contemplation (lot of dishes that we couldn't comprehend- thanks to je ne parle pas français et italienne)! Pizza dough was fresh and soft and lasagne had the perfect amount of cheese on it! And on top of it - Chianti was just the right temperature and sweetness! The red and white checks on the table cloth added to the italien experience.! Great place for solo binge or a date night( PS- you might feel cozy and crunched up with no privacy, but who cares you are not gonna talk much with that delicious food in front of you) Gluttony!

The more authentic italian in lyon where care and attention is given to clients and food a la italiana! The antipastas are well elaborated and very Mediterranean with olive oil, smoked ham and mozarella. We took pizza casa nobile , and was rich in taste with parma ham , ruculla , and mosarella. Nice thin bottom and topped very rich. Son took penna carbonara which is simple recipe but was very tasty. They 2 floors but make serve you come early or reserve...

Excellent Italian food. Fast service, high quality and friendly atmosphere. Antipasto was well prepared. Also primi and secondo piatto was delicious accompanied with tasty Italian wines.

This place is fantastic!! Food and service are great. I was waiting is line to pay and my waiter brought me a Limoncello since I had to wait to pay. A+ across the board for this place. I will eat here every time I'm in Lyon.

Best pizza i ate in a long time. The cook was so nice to bring me the pizza in a heartshape himself. Tip: try also the tiramisu: delicious!!!

Very cute Italian place. The pizza is cooked in wood-fired oven which is open to the seating area and so the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air adding to the cosy warm vibes of the place. Very authentic italian food and the pizza is one of the best I have had in Lyon.
