A few friends and I noticed this new Italian spot had just opened, so we called on a Friday night to see if they could take a big group — seven of us — and they were able to seat us pretty quickly. The place has a really nice outdoor seating area, and the indoor dining room is clean, modern, and all brand new.
From start to finish, the service was excellent. The hostess and our server were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share, and honestly, everything was great — but the standout for me was the bruschetta. I’d absolutely get that again. For my main, I went with the lasagna, which was a generous portion and tasted incredible. My wife ordered the special for the night, lobster ravioli, and it was just as good.
Prices were very reasonable for both the amount and quality of food or as my wife would say everything tasted so fresh, and the fact that it’s BYOB is a huge bonus — definitely saves a chunk off the final bill. I think it ended up being like $42 a person after tip.
Since it’s so new, it feels like a bit of a hidden gem right now, but I don’t think that’ll last long. I have a feeling it’s going to be tough to get a table on weekends once word gets out. We’ll definitely be back — it’s already made our list of top Italian spots in Philly.
