Well, this was a disappointment. The restaurant claims a 2025 Michelin star, well I don’t know what quality standards Michelin has in Brazil but the food was not even close to Michelin level.
We had costela desossada and paleta de cordeiro with risotto. Look at the pictures. That’s not a paleta! The meat had no special taste, the lamb and beef tasted quite similar, cooked too thoroughly and we suspected that it had been pre-made and reheated. Positive was the salad which was decent and fresh.
Regarding wine: only one option for wine by the glass! Not at the right temperature: red wine to warm, white wine too cold.
The interior is quite packed, a bit noisy and supposed to have a homey feel.
Finally service: the waiters did their best, but lacked attention to detail, like asking for a lime with sparkling water and not changing used cutlery after the first course. This cannot happen in a pretentious restaurant that charges such prices.
I wonder why the restaurant has such good reviews. Was it just bad timing and the chef had an off day? Looking around I was surprised to see mostly younger people in the restaurant (on a Friday evening)
