"Late-Night Pintxo Stop Casa Senra is a staple of the pintxo scene in the San Sebastián neighborhood of Gros. They have an ample menu, with an interesting selection of croquetas (one that is clams in salsa verde) and some great raciones (fried txopitos, or baby squid). But the useful takeaway from here is that they are the bar that is always open, a great last stop when most bars are closing their kitchens."

This place is simply amazing. Indulge yourself with the best that Basque cuisine has to offer. Sitting outside, just a stretch from the beach. Excellent service. Worth every cent. Oh, and don't forget the postres 😉

Service was great, food was good. While most other places around this area were super busy, this one had a short wait for a table outside. The service was excellent, attentive, accurate and quick. The food was good but I feel they over do it a bit with the balsamic vinaigrette reduction they put in most of their Pintxos. Some of them can be better with out it, and some with just a little bit of it. Only dish we didn't like was the Grilled Venison, it was not too tender. Overall a good experience if you are in this area and want a centrally located restaurant without a crowd.

We had the warm pintxos – the beef cheeks glazed in red wine with mashed potatoes and the confit ribs – and both were outstanding. Next day we had the cod which was tasty and beautifully plated too. We also tried several of the cold pintxos, which were just as delicious. Excellent service and a great atmosphere – highly recommended!

Oh my god the Pintxos here were incredible! We enjoyed the cod, beef cheek and croqueta. They were all incredible and so well done. The service was fantastic too, quick and attentive. Must try place!

We loved it! One of the few places we went back to twice! We just really like the low key atmosphere and friendly service, and mix of customers who were mostly local, from young people to elderly. Just a nice vibe with amazing food! The sweet pork rib was insanely good, and definitely worth trying - it just melts in your mouth with that incredible pork flavour. The vermouth was also really tasty - a bit too tasty, quite easy to drink too many 😋

The staff here are friendly and efficient. The food is tasty, and you should not skip a croquette here; they are not too salty and have a beautiful creamy filling. The steak we ordered had great layers of fat without being a fatty steak. The bravas were served with a punchy spicy sauce, but you could still taste potato. The scallops came loose from the shell, unlike other places. They sat in a lovely sauce, great for mopping up with the bread that comes with every order. I'll be visiting this place again.
