"Anyone who has grown up in the kitchen of a family-run restaurant with its customary hustle and bustle becomes used to the passion and excitement that comes with it. Pepe Solla, who has hospitality coursing through his veins, is the perfect example of this, becoming part of the history of the restaurant and vice-versa. His love for cooking came from his father (who was awarded a Michelin star at Casa Solla in 1980), and he has run the family business to the highest standard while continuing to evolve, in particular thanks to his obsession with immense flavours, and a focus on creative cooking inspired by the culinary traditions of Galicia. His menus (Trasmallo and Piobardeira), which champion ingredients sourced from the local area and the sea, showcase simplicity while still seeking to develop new concepts. We spent an incredibly lovely evening at this very special restaurant. Not only that the Chef knows how to play with textures and tastes … the staff rounded the experience up! They were very friendly and thoughtful - moderating well through all the courses. We decided for the wine pairing and as I am always looking for “specials” I told this to the Sommelier and he did a great job as well to find very interesting pairings that supported the food without overwhelming it. We very much loved the local intention of the restaurant and all the helping hands (we didn’t get in touch with all the crew in the kitchen) and the service crew did a perfect job! Hope to be back!

Fabulous a must try when in Galicia area in Spain . Amazing degustation and exceptional when you pair it with wines. Pepe should be proud that all his wait staff and sommelier was on point. Well done truly an experience.

This is not your usual Michelin star restaurant, this is a culinary experience. Not just because the 9 course tasting menu give you a breath of flavours and textures that will make your palate tremble and your mind and add soul happy. But the clear passion trasmissione from the chef and staff. We did start our meal in the amazing kitchen, making some of the canapés guided by the chef. Meat bark, fake olives... The dishes on the table one more inspiring then 6 the other. All served and explained by the chef proprietary .... His passion for anything restaurant is clear as he did most of our 9 bottles wine service... The cheese trolley if you are a lover is complete and explained at the side table. Overall amazing experience.

Incredible clash of tradition and innovation, worth every penny. All the staff and the Chef himself are extremely welcoming. They have an absolutely complete wine selection. We only ordered the "viaxando" tasting menu so I can't really vouch for the carte, but I was a meal to remember forever.

Yes. Take a drive to a small town called Poio, near Pontevedra, and pull into this hidden oasis right off the busy road. You feel as if you have stepped into the Michelin starred chef's personal home and kitchen. Elegant, comfortable, and intimate dining area lined with windows overlooking the garden and surrounding green hills. The first time, we let them know in advance that there would be two vegetarians in our party and the innovative concotions were mindblowing! Plates and plates of modern Spanish and Galician cuisine made with the finest local ingredients. An extra-special, long-lasting journey of sabores.
