This time, we headed to Casa Tambo for lunch – a classy restaurant with Peruvian Cuisine. Inside the restaurant, there were several areas to wine and dine in. There was a bar out front, a little bakery, a main dining area with sub-divided spaces, a courtyard dining, another indoor dining with stained glass interior decor and another bar inside.
It was classy!
After browsing through the menu, we decided on the Lomo Saltado (59 soles – $22USD), Aji de Gallina (48) and Pisco Sour (28) and Cortado (9). All the recommended food to try from P. The Lomo Saltado is a steak dish stir-fried with onions, capsicum and served with loads of smokey flavours. Reminded us of “wok-hei” on some dishes we get back home. Fries and rice accompany this dish. We found this to be really delicious because the sirloin was tender, flavourful and so smokey! As for the Aji de Gallina...
