We stayed here in June 2016 and have eaten very well. Best restaurant in the Rioja Alavesa 👏. Also the service was very good. Thanks a lot!

Food is rustic but excellent. Impossible to make a reservation if you don't speak Spanish. We finally got one for 130pm (confirmed via email) and then were told when we got there it was actually 2pm

Wow! Delicious with excellent service. A 3 minute walk from our lodging so easy to wander there and waddle back like stuffed penguins. Delicious food, large portions, excellent service and wine menu at prices that seem to mirror those you can purchase at winery price without any markup. We could only eat half our mains and asked for the rest to go and they wrapped up our desserts to go as well. We were actually filling up with the generous portions of the first course after a complementary foam of cauliflower amuse bouche. So now 5 hours later we have reheated and ate the remainder of our mains and are ready for bed. Desserts will have to wait for tomorrow! Highly recommend. Yum! Total price with a bottle of wine was 86 euros for the price of two prix-fixe menus plus a bottle of Sonsierra white. A bargain!

Recommended by a local friend. Wonderful wine from Bodega Abel Mendoza. Prawn carpaccio, pimientos Riojanos, rabbit chops, pigs feet and dessserts were fantastic.

Lovely restaurant offering great food and wines in beautiful San Vicente de la Sonsierra. Casa Toni offers a great mix of traditional Riojan cuisine and other, more modern dishes inspired by foods from the region. The beetroot sorbet lipstick in particular was both lovely and great fun, but the biggest stars of the overall great meal were the more traditional croquettas and the torrija dessert. As always, Abel Mendoza wines (made just down the road) complemented the food wonderfully.

We ate here tonight, knowing there had been mixed reviews on Trip Advisor. No mixed reviews with the two of us. Wow! What a dinner. We shared the white asparagus (oh so good), the goat cheese salad (outstanding), and two separate entrees: fried rabbit (which was more of a braised dish) and the pig feet stuffed with fois gras. OMG! The favors were outstanding. I could have died and gone to heaven. We then ordered dessert and both were excellent. I'd give a nod to my daughter's cheesecake, but my fried bread with caramelized topping and ice cream was pretty good too. This is absolutely a place to come when you're in the area. We drove from the Villa de Los Abolos and found it to be an easy and beautiful drive there.
