Insane food and Mexican flare..on the menu..must stop for a taco Tuesday or a huge burrito. Local dive and it's just perfect..ample parking out front..well done

Stopped in for a drink and all i can say, it was ok….it was a bit busy with just one waitress working. No luck on pull tabs either didn’t help lol. The pizza that the person next to me looked pretty decent (see photo)

Great food, clean and Lisa's the greatest bartender. I wish she worked more days. Maybe the business would get busier. Their burgers the best and Taco Tuesdays worth going every Tuesday! !

We drive past this place all the time and finally had to stop by. It's smaller on the inside than I was expecting, but the bartender was friendly and the prices for drinks were reasonable and the beer selection was decent. The crinkle fries my friend shared were good, but I just ordered a beer. They have a pinball machine, Golden Tee, a pool table, and darts. I'll surely go back, but the name and sign are the biggest standouts here.

Great place to relax and the service is above average! Everybody in the bar is very friendly and a great place to frequent. Outside there were great deals from a nearby salesman. Every time I stop in I am totally satisfied. Highly recommend it for leisure time enjoyment!

Working on the house next door and needed some lunch, ordered the Deep fried mushrooms, Mozzarella sticks, Bacon cheeseburger and was not disappointed!

Great taco Tuesday, nice pool table and lounge. Customers differ in attitude as always in your typical bar. Awesome prices for tacos and pitchers of bar. Don’t know about other drink prices but it’s worth coming here for some relaxation. They also have dart board (plastic tip which sucks) pin ball, jukebox, but no karaoke.

The wings are steadily consistent which I love! They have 🌮 Taco's on Tuesdays Wing special on Wednesdays, Thursdays are Authentic chile relleno....freaking AMAZING! 🍸 Drinks are the best & the bartenders are great! Awesome customer service & very attentive. The owners are very nice and friendly. It's like Cheers, where everybody knows your name kinda spot. I love it!!

I walked in the snow to the nearest market and they did not sell onions, so i thought a pub would have at least had some. I had 20 dollars in my hand and kindly requested if i could buy just one onion from the kitchen and the bartender said no. Idk if this is just a rant, but if i was a bartender & someone showed concern for walking in the snow in case they slip, i would have given an onion. It could have been a 5 dollar onion but this lady just said no.

Everything! No real reason to come here when there's so many others with better prices better food! They keep raising the drink prices so they are higher than anywhere around!! The only reason they stay busy is because regulars that live close by. The food is just bar food, and not very good! No music unless a customer plays it so otherwise no ambiance! You pay the same price goiing and drinking at a really nice place.

I have been in here a few times and most of the time the staff is nice and they charge correctly, however the most recent time there was a shift change and i had to close out my tab no big deal paid for the 2 drinks. Opened new tab with bar tender and at the end when i went to cash out she charged me for the 2 drinks from the other tab that i already paid for. Im not going to argue so i paid not really realizing till i was walking home, honestly keep the money for the 2 drinks i wont be back. Older lady was nice though.

The food couldn't be reviewed since the kitchen was closed at 5 pm. Service was non existent unless you like to spend time standing at the bar waiting for help in a tiny establishment that isn't even half full. Ambiance is okay based solely on the fact that I knew people there, it does seem clean and has potential. The reviews that are positive are old and irrelevant,

We stayed nearby at an airbnb and found U Betcha Pub charming. I would say it's a regular spot for locals but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. The food is really good, it's "bar food" but that's what we wanted. We had hamburgers and chicken burgers both were delicious and generous sized portions. Decent selection of IPA's on tap which my adult son enjoyed. I like a nice cocktail and the bartender didn't disappoint! There's just something about that sign that felt nostalgic, we had to try. We went back a 2nd time too. Also great music, and the jukebox is one you can do by your phone. I didn't know but my kid did. Again, give it a try, service is excellent, food is great, and other customers welcoming.

Great drinks, great food, open until 0200. Tara is one of the best in the NW. Wish they still had trivia on Wednesdays but ....

We just moved down this way and tried this spot on date night last night. Got a double vodka cran and husband got a double rum and coke. The drinks were poured heavy(thank God!) bartender was amazing and attentive. Atmosphere was homey, people were friendly and kind. We had an amazing time and will be back!

Nice clean place, friendly atmosphere with amazing food. Good place to hang out with friends. Prices are unbelievable, like the good old days. Have a great meal without breaking the bank.

I just want to say the bar maid isn't racist because she wouldn't serve someone with a different country id. It is actually a law! Maybe people should do some research before accusing people. I went to this bar and had a nice time my only complaint is please hire more people. You need at least 3 people during the weekend.

It's a basic bar, but if you want just basic pub stuff - good beer and comfort food - then it's more than enough. Beer was good (yes, they sell Coors too, but I said "beer") ! Lady serving behind the bad was friendly, quick, and informative. Locals were friendly too - nice change from the east coast :) TV showing American football and the Beeb (nice touch!), I'd not class this as a "dive bar" :)

Decent bar on the corner of 43rd and Pacific. i wouldn't really come here unless i was really lazy and didn't want to go elsewhere, since this place is just right down the street from where i live. cheap food and cheap beer, but don't expect much else from this place.

Best and most welcoming pub I've been to in Tacoma yet! Washi Tape Blue is a top notch bartender evah!

Stinky place. It is a dive bar, so I do expect a certain aroma. However this weird floral "we are hiding the smell of urine" sent kept wafting through while I waited. Which brings me to the real reason for this post. I live in the neighborhood and thought I should give them a try. The family was on the way home, so I had about 45 minutes to grab dinner for myself... I could go to a bar! And this one was blocks away! I ordered a cheese burger and a beer. I enjoyed my beer, watching others play a very long game of pool. They were delightfully enjoying themselves, so I enjoyed watching them. Then I realized half an hour had passed, and I didn't have any food yet. When I inquired, I was told she was the only one working, and she hadn't gotten to it yet. Aren't bars required to serve food? Now, I'm not blaming the bar tender too much... A little because she should've explained the situation to me. I'm down the street enjoying Chinese food now. Management: you lost me for another long time unless I hear you are appropriately staffing your establishment. And please fix that weird smell.

Flew in for a wedding party and a group of us came in after the wedding a good 10-15 people in our group and none of us were carded maybe 3-4 people in the bar that weren't from our group. We were buying rounds of shots and beer she probably made more that night than her whole week. A random place In a corner even our Uber said it looked sketchy. The lady at the bar decided to card one of the oldest persons in our party we had plenty of youngins that she didn't even bother carding and as soon as she saw it was a valid out of country passport she immediately told him he wasn't allowed to be there and had to leave. That lady was racist. Embarrassed he came to tell us all he was leaving and we all decided to leave. Can't support establishments where we feel discriminated against.

My father, my girlfriend, a Birthday girl and I were asked to leave after a confrontation occurred regarding a patron who was hogging the only pool table in the establishment and trash talking those who attempted to play. We ran up a healthy tab while said patron wasn't seen buying a single thing. The bartender kicked out the party spending money and chose to keep the vulgar, pool table hogging bully (who, again wasn't spending any money). Used to be my neighborhood bar, but I won't ever step foot in this establishment again. Don't waste your hard earned money here. Go to 48th St pub..they actually cook food, have more than one pool table, a non racist joke box ( ubetcha's juke box doesn't have any rap music to avoid a younger crowd), and friendly bar tenders that don't play favorites.

NEW OWNERS!! Augie and Isabell are Wonderful! The Casa U Betcha has changed for the better. This is now a great neighborhood bar, this a place is a working mans bar, a place for the retired to come shoot the shit and most importantly a place you can feel comfortable bringing your spouse in. You can't get a better taco on Tuesday, everything is fresh including the hand made tortillas made by the Isabell her self.

New Owner who will no doubt turn this place into something great!! Like all change it will be gradual and take time....look forward to seeing improvements

If you want drink and have a good time come here the alcohol ratio for mixed drinks is 90:10. So you'll definitely enjoy this place! Food is alright

Great place to hang out and have a few appetizers and drinks with friends, I saw some of the negative reviews this place received and I feel as if these are folks who dine in at only 5 star restaurants and then stumbled across u betcha. I think this pub is great and next time I'm in the area I will stop by amd have a drink or two.
