We all had fajitas and they were excellent. Everything was well seasoned. The veggies were cooked just right. The tortillas and chips are so fresh! We also had the Mexican street corn - a real treat! Went back today. Even better than before and I remembered to take a picture this time. Shrimp Fra Diavalo and Huevos Rancheros. Excellent!!!

This is our favorite Stamford Mexican place! Love Taco Tuesdays, $15 all you can eat (maybe ask them not to double-wrap) and the drinks are just strong enough! There’s a nicer dining room but in a pinch the area by the entrance is okay. Staff is friendly.

Best Mexican food in Stamford!! The first time I came here I thought it was so good I came again the next night for dinner. So good everytime. The chicken enchiladas are top notch👨‍🍳😘 I wish they'd bring back the jalapeno poppers special as a regular menu item!!🤞🥰

You know, I drove by this place a lot and even went to the package store right next to it, but I never noticed this place. Well, today on my way to get drinks, I noticed the place and decided to try them out. Holy smokes! I got the steak nachos with everything. This thing was heavy, and I enjoyed every bite! It's not a typical dine-in restaurant because it's small and ideal for takeout, but the food was great, and the portions were large.

We have dined here twice and we liked it both the time. The food tastes really good. If you want it spicy they will customize the spice level based on your request.

My first time went for lunch. Sat outside where we received prompt service. Food was well seasoned. Everything was good. I had the chipotle shrimp. It wasn’t spicy to me. Will need to try it during the evening to check out that atmosphere, it was quiet for lunch.

Honestly I never really write reviews but I’m kind of upset. I ordered chicharron de pollo and it usually comes with tostones and a salad as it says on the menu, I switched the tostones for fries instead. My plate was missing the salad and the dressing for the chicken. Not only that, but I’m upset that I was charged $19 for this, literally a child size tray! I called the restaurant and the girl on the phone claimed I had to *ask for the salad* when the menu says it brings it.

Stopped in for a late breakfast of Huevos Rancheros today. It is by far some of the best I’ve eaten. Coffee was good too. Do your stomach a favor and order this the next time you are in the neighborhood. Parking around the restaurant is difficult at best even with a lot next the restaurant but it’s worth it. On past visits I’ve enjoyed their Carne Asada, Chicken Enchiladas and Camarones A La Diabla (shrimp in a lime garlic sauce if I remember it right).

Fast and friendly service at this neighborhood Mexican place. It is bigger inside than it initially looks when you walk it. I ordered the fish tacos and was very impressed. The fish was fresh and the toppings were excellent, especially the guacamole which really brightened up the tacos. It came with beans and rice so it was a great value in addition to being very tasty. The chips and salsa that came out first were also awesome. I had to stop myself from eating them so I'd have room for the food!

Again, such a great place to get tacos here in Stamford! I am obsessed with the Tacos De Cecina and the Al Pastor tacos!

Great food very flavorful, the Pina Colada was delicious , the prices were decent, nice ambiance and clean also the wait staff were professional and kind. I would definitely recommend going on a date!

Our to go place for when we crave tacos! Their al pastor taco is a must try! This time we ordered something different and it did not disappoint. Both dishes had a slight and perfect spicy touch and the chicken was tender. They were both flavorful and filling. Fyi: they offer free nachos and dips when you dine in :)

Really good, straight forward Mexican spots. You will find your typical Mexican dishes. Salsa is fresh and really tasty. Fajitas and pork chops are my favorite mains. I've had their chicken taquitos and sopa de res before, it was good but probably wouldn't get again. I ordered Gorditas once but they were actually sopes, still good though. Service is attentive and fast. They're accommodating and always checking in to make sure everything is good. Cute place to go for drinks with friends and family.

A solid place we come back to often. Solid in regard to great food, service is generally great and good atmosphere. Tuesday is taco Tuesday and they have delicious tacos!

Five. Hard five. This might be the best restaurant in Stamford. Amazing tacos. Services was incredible. We wanted for nothing the entire time. Service with a small. Exceptionally clean. Absolutely nothing wrong here. Why did it take me so long to find this wonderful spot?

This place was tremendous! Had a craving one night for a local, family run Mexican spot and decided to give this place a go! I can honestly say this is some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. Went early and dined in. The salsa was outstanding. Wish I could buy it by the gallons! I got the steak fajitas and my husband got the taco combo. Everything was amazing. The service was great and staff were friendly. I will absolutely be back! EXTREMELY SATISFIED!

I tried the taco Tuesday all you can eat. I was at Firestone getting my car repaired and was hungry for a meal. I was about to stop by kumo for an all you can eat before seeing casa villa on Tuesday had an all you can eat too! I felt that what are the odds I'm here on a Tuesday I better stop by. The staff was incredibly nice, the food was so fresh, everything was so good. The tacos came fast and hot, the wait staff ask immediately if you want more. I personally became self conscious (my own fault not theirs, they're so nice) of how many tacos I was eating but it was just so good, I couldn't help myself. I highly recommend it My favorite ended up being the steak ( I know how boring) Cecina was my second favorite Shrimp was also super good I usually love Al pastor but I recently had tacos #1 in nyc which set the bar too high now. This Al pastor is very good tho, nice fruit touch with bits of pineapple One other amazing thing is they don't skimp on the meat and filling. I've been to too many spots where they skimp and these guys make quality tacos every single time regardless if it's your first order or 10th

Casa Villa has become one of our local favorites. I've been there twice already and each time I am always pleased with the food and service! The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating, and the prices are great.

Fabulous! Big fan of this wonderful establishment. Always a homerun. Super fresh food - everything we've ever ordered was beyond delicious. The team there are super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Went last week with 4 kids and two Moms - everyone left extremely happy!

Give this place a Michelin Star. Service is top tier and the food is unbelievable. Not to mention their speciality margs are to die for. One of my favorite eateries in the area. Clean, well manicured dining room and outdoor seating area. Pleasure all around. Bravo Casa Villa.

Food is wonderful, service is great and the Margaritas and mojitos are amazing. I love that they do the margaritas in a margarita cup. A lot of places are now doing the margaritas on regular small cups.

Never had anything bad here. Fresh and delicious and the service last night was perfect! I do wish they sold combinations though but that's my only complaint.

LOVE THIS PLACE! At my best I'm here twice a week. The tacos Al pastor are some of the consistently best around Stamford. Great portions for price and the taste and consistency is always there. Salsas are good too, although sometimes they forget to add it so I double check each time now, can't have tacos without some salsa! I've also had the burrito, quesadilla, horchata, and Jamaica as well. Across the board these are all okay. The quesadillas though can sometimes be a miss as sometimes they're a bit too greasy, but maybe that's some people's thing! I love that they include guacamole. The burritos are very filling and good. The horchata and Jamaica are average. They're good, but could be improved, maybe they sat out too long? They were a bit grainy. As for service, online and ordering on the phone are both fast. Online says it takes 30-45 minutes but I've found my order will be ready before that. The store itself is very nice and always seems busy, especially on weekends. Good atmosphere. Parking can be tight. The service is consistently good but I've had some encounters where a server could've attended me better. Came off a bit like I was ignored but maybe it was an off day. Either way, the food is what counts most to me and this place has amazing food! Just be careful to order it from the right Casa Villa as there is the restaurant and the express location. Give them a try!

I went here tonight for the first time, and I can't wait to go back! Even before the food arrived, we were impressed with the spicy and flavorful salsa that came with the tortilla chips. I had the shrimp enchilada, which was excellent. Other people I was with ordered the chicken fajitas, the pork chop, and the shrimp fajitas. As a side, we ordered the sweet platanos. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone we know. The service was great. The only mistake of the meal was when our friend ordered shrimp fajitas and brought out steak fajitas. The servers apologized, and the shrimp fajitas were brought out. The walls are decorated with Frida Kahlo posters and other examples of Mexican culture. Another big plus of this place is that there is parking.

After moving to Stamford in 2019, Casa Villa had been on our list of restaurants to visit. We had lived in Stamford from 2010 to 2014, and Casa Villa was always a favorite for tacos and delicious guacamole. I'm so so happy to report that our original feelings about Casa Villa still stand almost ten years later. We arrived to the restaurant as it opened and were immediately greeted. The restaurant is simply decorated but offered a lovely atmosphere. Everyone on the team looks out for the tables. We enjoyed a Cozumel Margarita and a mango margarita for our drinks. We both ordered three tacos and rice and beans and it was exactly why we came to Casa Villa in the first place. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. We will absolutely be back to Casa Villa soon!

We moved here from San Diego so we know A really good Mexican food. They had REAL refried beans.... With pinto not black beans which is what we keep finding. The nacho we ordered was lauded so there was something in almost every chip Margarita i had was very tasty. And the service was great! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food.

Searching for a level above the typical texmex/southwestern options or glamorized tequila bars with hipster/gentrified toppings, Casa Villa delivers. Great selection of southwestern favorites. Is it 100 percent authentic Mexican cuisine?...no. However, they do resolve your dilemma of overly Americanized taquerias that have taken over Fairfield County by providing a truer atmosphere of standard Mexican-American dining. Given the demographics, they had to loosen options for catering to the community. Understandable for the business need. The staff is friendly and attentive. Think twice before heading to popularized investment firm's idea of Mexican cuisine. This may be more gratifying.

I went here for dinner a few weeks ago and can't wait to go back! I brought my mother who isn't very familiar with Mexican food and usually orders fajitas. Although fajitas are on the menu, I convinced her to let me do the ordering. I chose the shrimp enchiladas with the salsa verde and the mariscada. The seafood in both dishes was very fresh and the sauces in both dishes were quite flavorful! It sounds silly, but I even loved the rice that was included as a side and thought it was indicative of the overall quality of the food. My mom, who is very honest when she dislikes something and is set in her habits, complimented the food and was happy to try something new. I look forward to returning with the whole family! It is also worth noting that I've lived in Mexico and I'm from Chicago where there is a TON of great Mexican options. I was very happy to try Casa Villa and have such a great spot close to home!

Casa Villa (east main) is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Stamford. We have eaten in a couple times but usually order takeout. My go-to's are the enchiladas mole poblano and the chilaquiles. Even their chips are amazing. Their parking lot is small but I've never had an issue finding parking.

Casa Villa hits all the right notes: great food, generous portions with reasonable prices, attentive and professional staff, and a joyful yet unfussy atmosphere. The menu and the flavors are well developed without being over the top, which is my favorite brand of Mexican food. Expect large plates cooked with love, tacos with tasty marinades and simple but impactful toppings. The three tacos with beans and rice is a great deal. Everything from the chips and salsa down to the salted rims on their margaritas is done well. I look forward to coming back for more!

Awful management/customer service. Other employees are nice and helpful. I went there tonight to pick up dinner. Have been there several times over the years. Ordered fajitas de camarones, tres camarones tacos w/rice and beans and the chicken nachos for ~$65. Carried the small (but heavy) bag, to my car directly out front, drove 2 minutes down the road, got out of my car, took two steps and the bag immediately ripped in half. I called and explained what happened to the lady and asked if I can place another order. She gave me the same total and I if there's anything they can do given the circumstances. She politely checked with her manager, who got on the phone. This is where it went wrong. I explained to the manager what happened, and if they'd be willing to do anything; I can show them the pictures and my shoes for proof as it was only 5 minutes ago. He said "well the bag is good when you walk out, so no." (I took literally 15 steps with it in total). He said again it's not their fault and the bag was fine when I left. I said what if I had held the bag for 30 seconds longer in the store, it would have happened in there. The response was disgraceful. I also wasn't happy, as it spilled all over the floor and my shoes. Was hoping for at least a discount on the new order since I didn't pick or pack the bag. Terrible customer service and a waste of money. Get better bags.Gave an extra star because the girl at register/phone was nice. Update: the manager called a few minutes later and tried to offer 50% off. I declined after the initial response.

The atmosphere and service are great. The food is good. Have had better and worse. The bar is well stocked, a good place to go if you want some margaritas.

Great tacos, fast service, fair prices. Can't ask for more. The marinated pork with pineapple tacos is to die for.

I came here for the first time today. It was great. The staff was super friendly and patient with me. Since it was my first time I had a few questions and they answered all of them. I came in because of an ad and a recommendation. Taco Tuesday menu $15 all you can eat tacos and add one margarita for $20. You could have also got beer or sangria. I worried reading some of the reviews here. But I was not disappointed at all. I tried several different flavors of tacos. My favorites were chicken tinga, adobada, asada and cecina. All came out hot, they were very flavorful, loaded and delicious. They weren't cheap with the meat or toppings either. They were all falling off, but don't worry I had a fork to scoop up all the goodness. Also, these are authentic tacos. I don't know if they just toasted them or one of the two were a crispy one but I really enjoyed that hidden crunch. Oh, and the margaritas. I say margaritas but I had a few they were the perfect size. First with the special was $5, then all others were $10. You could add flavors but their original was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here to sample their other menu items and of course for the taco Tuesday all you can eat tacos. Can't beat it!

Sitting in this restaurant right now and writing a review. Looked up the reviews before coming in and was not disappointed. The staff are friendly and nice people. Food is great. Drinks are awesome. Great customer service. Would recommend this to anyone who loves good food, drinks and great hospitality.

Fabulous food. Very authentic. We had chicken mole enchiladas and shrimp verde enchiladas and they were both delicious. The decor and atmosphere was perfect and the service was excellent. If I lived around here I would definitely be a regular.

This is by far the best Spanish restaurant in Fairfield county. So far I've been there 4 times and I've decided to make this my regular go to spot. There menu is perfect, they keep it small and simple but with a wide variety. Specifically their taco platters are the best I've ever had. Carnitas, chorizo, I actually can't stop raving about this place. The drinks are amazing too. I like the Black Russian and my girlfriend can't stop talking about the margaritas. The passion fruit margarita is truly authentic. Service is awesome; our waiter is always paying attention but does a nice job giving you space to chat with the people at your table. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area and a soothing Latin theme on the inside. I rate this place 10/10 as my absolute favorite Spanish restaurant in Fairfield county.

A great vibe inside! Music was fun and the perfect volume for background music. Tacos are $3.50 each and stuffed with meat/protein. They came with cilantro, onions, and lime. We added some verde hot sauce. It's complimentary but you have to ask for it. Overall, wonderful experience and totally worth it.

Have not been there in quite some time due to COVID. Must say that the food is still amazingly delicious from my pickup order. If you like pork, the Chuletas Con Salpicon are outstanding!!! Flame grilled, juicy and tasty.

First experience here was good. Amazing staff, service & tasty margaritas. We came for all you can eat tacos so we really weren't expecting them to be high quality or even that tasty (for the price + quantity the subpar tacos were fine). Second time I came I ordered a steak burrito. Everything about it was just gross, literally tasted like i was eating a Philly cheesesteak. We also ordered guac and it came in the smallest container and ended up being very overpriced. Overall I would only come here for chips, margs and unlimited tacos. If you're looking for good mexican food this is not it.

Yes first time but I shall return.... got the tres tacos w rice and beans. One of each shrimp, al pastor, steak. All were good but Al Pastor won out. So good so much flavor. Need to come back because there are bunch of things on the menu that demand trying... chilaquiles here I come. Staff friendly polite and attentive. All good glad I stumbled onto this one.

The most authentic and delicious! Casa Villa has been a staple in my family for years and we love coming here. We especially love their desserts! The churros are a must every time. My go to meal is the chuletas con salpicon!

Best tacos anywhere in Connecticut. I've eaten at many taco joints and these are by far the best. Great selection to choose from and consistently good. Friendly and professional wait staff, clean and organized restaurant. Definitely a return customer here.

Everything was super tasty and well priced. Service excellent. The enchiladas were a little spicy so if that's not your thing, ask for mild. Guac and salsa A+, and also they had ample outdoor seating

A favorite dining spot for years, we stopped in recently and were disappointed. For starters, the chips were not as tasty, maybe having been shifted from corn to four. The chunky and spicy salsa served for years was replaced by a tomato saucy salsa that was just plain bad. Margaritas, which had been our favorite in Stamford, disappeared and were replaced in serving glass and drink with a watery, flavorless version. My guess is that there has been a change in ownership, or at minimum, in chefs. The wait staff is different, too. Ay caramba!

Was a great spot until they doubled their prices. It's a bit ridiculous. We used to go there once a week for two people $50 max with drinks since covid they have doubled their prices but same quality food. So a date night with drinks and appetizers is easily $85-100 which for what you get is crazy. I understand covid put a strain on everyone but doubling your prices is a bit extreme. We have not been back since. Was such a great place but a just chicken and cheese quesadilla shouldn't be over $10. If that included all the extras sure $20-$25 not problem but just quesadilla, cheese and chicken shouldn't be $18 Sorry that's crazy

My sister and I were driving around Stamford looking for somewhere to eat amidst covid, and thank God we decided to come to Casa Villa. I loved everything about the experience-no wait, taking covid precautions, great food and service. Our server Melissa was SO friendly and helpful. I told her my sister turned 21 this week and asked for drink suggestions for a newbie. Melissa was kind enough to bring out samples of drinks for her in shot glasses, free of charge. She constantly checked on us and gave great recommendations. The food and drinks were great. I ordered the Villa margarita - which was delicious and strong. I also ordered chicken nachos and chicken tinga tacos. The chicken tacos aren't tinga on the menu, but Melissa told us that we could order the tacos anyway we wanted. Both were super flavorful. My sister got the bistec taco platter with rice and beans and the lava cake for dessert. Everything was delicious, especially the creamy vanilla ice cream. All the food and drinks came out super fast and the perfect temperature. We will definitely be coming back.

Another great Mexican restaurant with great food and awesome drinks. This restaurant has a nice outside patio and it's spaced properly. During this pandemic you have to be careful where you eat and I was very happy with this choice.
