"Those seeking Old Havana's ramshackle, colonial ambiance should book a suite at boho-chic Casa Vitrales, where owner Osmani Hernández has filled three airy floors with striking Deco pieces and Murano glass chandeliers." - Anya von Bremzen

This was my favorite accommodation in Havana! The staff is so sweet. The decor is so tasteful, elegant, and intentional with a beautiful rooftop. All a reflection of the delightful owner!! Oh and THE BED WAS SOOO COMFY!!! Can’t wait to come back to Casa Vitrales!

Casa Vitrales is a gem tucked in old Havana very close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and sites. It is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, and the staff are so kind. Mary, the house manager, and the owner were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. We booked the suite and it is large with high ceilings and a sitting room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the ac was cold on the hot Havana days, and the bathroom was large and luxurious. The breakfast was light and perfect each morning, and served on the rooftop overlooking the city. I plan to stay at Casa Vitrales every time I visit.

We recently spent 6 comfortable nights at Casa Vitrales. We had a warm welcome when we arrived and Alex and all the other staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the old city. It is a quirky building with lots of interesting artwork. Breakfast was served on the roof from where we had great views of Havana and could watch a humming bird feeding from the plants. Guests need to be reasonably agile as the hotel is spread over 4 floors with steep winding staircases. Highly, highly recommended

Casa Vitrales was surprisingly a wonderful place to stay after our experience in a so called 5 star luxury hotel in Varadero! If this place had been in Varadero our holiday might have been a completely different experience. A beautiful place, furnished beautifully, comfortable bedrooms with good air conditioning, good quality bedding and very good quality towels etc.. in the bathroom. Condidering the embargo and excuses from the 5 star hotel, Casa Vitrales is able to provide a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit every morning, fresh coffee, eggs and ham along with a jug of fresh fruit juice.!! Maybe there is no embargo in Havana. I think it all comes down to the owner who cares about his customer and wants to provide the best service he can. We were greeted with a warm welcome and he could not have been more polite or helpful. If you decide to stay in Havana I can highly recommend this place for location and a wonderful stay in lovely accomodation. Other places have a lot to learn!! Thank you Osmani for such a warm welcome and excellent service.

Casa Vitrales is a real gem, located in the center of old town Havana. It is beautifully decorated with lots of special touches like the collection of antique clocks; a bright pink barber chair and eclectic artwork throughout. ||My room was lovely, comfortable, very clean, good air conditioning, nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast of fruits, eggs, ham, cheese, coffee and tea was served on the roof terrace and was delicious. It is well located with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. ||Only issue is there are many steps to the rooms and roof top terrace, a consideration if walking is a problem.||Osmani, the owner and Alex, the manager went above and beyond to make my stay there a wonderful experience. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Highly recommended!|

We spent 4 nights at Cara Vitrales. It's a real gem, decorated beautifully throughout. Our room was very nice, very clean, good air conditioning, nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace and was delicious and my husband (a coffee lover) loved the coffee. All the staff there were lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay there a lovely experience. It is well located with lots of restaurants and bars nearby and we spent many hours walking around Havana Old Time. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

A great place with friendly, helpful, welcoming staff and quirky rooms right in the heart of Old Havana and within a few steps of the restored waterfront area and with decent restaurants on the doorstep. Rooms, especially if you're on the first floor, have amazing high ceilings and very comfortable, modern beds to accompany the quirky decor and other furnishings. Good showers with hot water (not to be taken for granted in Cuba!)- you have to accept that not everything in Cuba always works as it should, but from our experience, Casa Vitrales is as good as you'll get. |Breakfast - as everywhere we stayed - was pretty limited, but food supplies are hard to come by. |Highly recommended.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The location is within easy walking distance of good restaurants and interesting sites. The breakfast on the roof can't be beat.
