"How did it strike you on arrival?CasaCau’s the kind of place that makes you want to show off to all your friends, because you’ve nabbed the best digs in town, made up of six spacious, designer apartments, rather than pokey rooms. Plus, you're only minutes to the Trevi Fountain. Nice. What’s the crowd like?Striped tops, thick glasses, and poker-straight hair adorn the clientele: they’re as image-conscious as the hotel itself. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. The 1960s-themed Apartment With Balcony is big enough for two adults and a child, with an open plan kitchen and dazzling color accents throughout. Everything is special here, from the well-stocked fridge and turquoise kitchen to the views over the market from the terrace. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us?The beds are firm but comfortable, the sheets and pillows pleasingly soft. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? The entire apartment is a work of art, but we love the way the staff bring staff brings still-warm bread and croissants to your room each morning, and the way the fridge is magically replenished each day. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. The bathroom’s petite, but the gilded mirror and furry slippers more than make up for it. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Wi-Fi is free. Room service: Worth it?Room service is a no go, but why would you need it when you have your very own kitchenette? For familiesAnyone whose ever travelled with kids knows it can send stress levels through the roof. Not exactly what you’re after while you’re holidaying in Rome, right? As part of CasaCau’s new Kids&You package, owners (and parents) Pino, Valentina and Francesca work with you to create a personalized itinerary that takes in Rome’s best sights, as well as its most child-friendly spots. They’ll work out ways for you to skip long queues, and even arrange babysitting, as and when you need it. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay?Staying somewhere that’s a work of art is always special, and if you put a couple of snaps on Instagram, your following will go through the roof. Note though, that there is no elevator." - Maresa Manara

An absolute 5* experience at Casa Cau. Pino allowed us to leave our bags in a safe space before check in and after check out. He was easily contactable during our stay and went above and beyond to correct a very minor issue with breakfast. A very comfortable, well-equipped apartment with a fabulous host located in the heart of Rome!

Great stay at Casa Cau! The daily breakfast delivery was such a treat. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed. A little awkward getting in/out of the bed….but once you were in, it was very comfortable. As others have mentioned, it can be a bit noisy with the windows open. We made that mistake on night 1. But quickly learned our lesson and with the windows shut, the apartment was very, very quiet and dark. Amazing location to walk to all of Rome’s key attractions. Thanks Pino for your hospitality!

I stayed in the studio apartment which was a large space with a little balcony (not really a view however a quiet back street) a lovely bathroom with a steam room. Kitchenette was perfect size. Very quiet, clean and quirky design. Pino and Zibi couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast with fresh pastries, eggs, fruit etc. I asked for extras options which was no problem. Pino is easy to contact and responds quickly to questions. Great location, lovely apartment. My only very minor comment is that the room was a little low on natural light however in August heat that was a relief. An Oasis in the heart of Rome.

We spent 3 nights at CasaCau and honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. The apartment was charming, spacious, and incredibly comfortable and you couldn’t ask for a better location, just steps from the Trevi Fountain. Pino, the owner, was beyond helpful. He sorted everything for us, from recommending the best spots to eat in Rome to arranging tours and transfers. Nothing was too much trouble and I’ve honestly never met anyone so genuinely helpful and kind. Thank you, Pino! Can’t wait to come back and stay in your beautiful apartment again.

My family of 3 absolutely loved our stay in the Double Corner (Apartments 4 and 5) at Casa Cau. The furnishings are stunning and the architecture both grand and understated at the same time. We were in the center of everything, but also felt like were in our own private respite; it was a perfect stay.

This was our third time beautiful CasaCau which always feels like home, super clean, charming designed for perfection pleasant and quiet. Everything is at a high luxurious style. Charming Zibi will take care of everything you need and always with a smile and peace. I've been in three different apartments usually with the kids (once without) it's always perfect till the last detail nothing is missing! Comfortable beds with soft linen , kitchen has everything with style and warmth. Wifi is excellent i could work with no problem. I Highly recommend for single, couples or families, The Sauna in the smaller apartment is great! Will surely come back.

This is the PERFECT boutique place to stay in Rome. You are 1 minute from the Trevi fountain. The apartments are decorated so beautifully it feels like home. The amenities are generous. The most delicious box of breakfast goodies are delivered to your door every morning. I will definitely stay here every time I visit Rome.
